These are located on Hoshall's Island (Goose Island)

We came across 2 large stone foundations located in the upper northwest section of the reservoir. Pic 1 & 2 are of the same remnants and pic 3 was the other foundation we saw located a little farther north. These were pretty cool to stumble upon.

My friend grew these in her garden. We don't know the variety but they are huge and beautiful. She's pregnant with her first baby girl 🩷

It may look dry and hard but you will sink if you go too far out! These steps took my shoes off luckily my friend was able to retrieve them

We hiked about 5 miles today

There's a house in the far background that I would love to see the view from. If anyone knows who owns it off Beckleysville Rd let me know.

It's intriguing to see the history exposed

The grass was overgrown and the trail disappeared

Walked to a new spot today. We could see the Beckleysville bridge and the Kidds Schoolhouse bridge. Beckleysville bridge is also known as Dunning Bridge after the Dunning family who owned land along the gunpowder before the dam was built.

It was my first time stopping here. It's a short walk to the water.

It was nice to see a lot of you out in the park today.

Did anyone pick up these items?

We saw many freshwater mussel shells on the newly exposed shore. They were giant! One measured 5 inches long and 2 inches thick.

Significant difference in the water level from early this summer.
