New set of portraits!

Can’t find cause of neuropathy
I’ve had burning and tingling in my feet and legs since last August. Usually at night or at rest, feels like a sunburn. Skin pinch biopsy was negative. We’ve ruled out diabetes, pinched nerves, vitamin deficiencies. Thyroid function is fine. They found MGUS, a very small amount of a IGG Kappa monoclonal protein, but it doesn’t seem to be multiple myeloma or POEMS. I have bilateral carpal tunnel, history of anemia, slightly elevated kappa light chain but normal ratio, and a slightly swollen tongue, so I had carpal tunnel surgery and had the tissue biopsies, negative for amyloidosis.
I’m honestly at a loss. My neurologist gave up, just wanted to treat the pain with Gabapentin. Looking for a new neuro. My hematologist wants me to get tested to see if the mgus is causing the neuropathy and do a repeat skin punch.
I’m still worried it’s amyloidosis at a very early stage.
Anyone have any insight?
