How is Deckers at solo and multiplayer?

I play a lot of solo games and I love coop games like Spirit Island and Horrified, so I wanted to hear from you guys how Deckers does at both multiplayer and solo. I'd love to hear all your thoughts, especially with regard to these two points:

  1. How's the replayability?

  2. How's the learning curve?

Just about to start learning watercolors. What are your thoughts on watercolor pens?

I'm committing to learning how to draw and do some watercolors now that I'm solidly in my 40s. I just find line and wash work gorgeous. I was about to get my hands on some watercolor pens, but I've heard mixed things. I crave your wisdom: are watercolor pens good to learn watercolor 101 with, and, if so, so I use the pens directly on the paper or do I dab them on the pallet and then brush the paint on? I've seen videos recommending both.

Thank you so much!

Filen won't show the pictures I uploaded

I'm still pretty new to Filen, it was working fine for me until yesterday. I'm keeping some random landscapes and character art I downloaded on there, as well as some screenshots of tutorials, so it's pretty much all jpegs. However, as of yesterday I will click on a picture but it will not show. I keep getting timed out error messages. I tried it on both my iPad and Pixel phone, same result.

Anybody else having this issue? Any solutions from those who have dealt with it before?

For those who have both Chapter 1 and 2, how well do they integrate together?

I haven't heard the most flattering things about Chapter 2, but I figured I'd ask those with both: how well do they integrate? I know Chapter 2 has updated versions of some Chapter 1 cards, but beyond that, how is it playing Chapter 1 with Chapter 2 investigators and vice-versa? How's the experience so far?

Creating a quarter-long "Intro to Economics" class for 8th graders. Would love any and all tips and resources!

Michigan teacher here. I'm teaching an elective for the first time, and it will be a nine-weeks-long economics course. I'm planning on dividing it up into three sections: basic concepts (good/service, supply and demand, competitive advantage, etc.), national economies (market, command, mixed), and international economics (comparative advantage, tariffs, international trade agreements, etc.) We touch on some stuff in class already but I will certainly need to find more activities, resources, etc.

I would be grateful for any and all resources you might be able to throw my way. For example, for a week's foray into the stock market, are there cool stock simulators students can enjoy for free?

When do I start colored pencils as part of my journey learning art?

I'm slowly getting started learning art. I'm working my way through some basic character and drawing courses through Udemy but I also decided to concurrently learn how to really use colored pencils. However, I'm really struggling with basic shading, values, borders, and solid color. Even though it's only been a few weeks and I'm using cheap pencils and sketchpads, it all looks really amateurish and childlike.

Should I learn drawing 101 (shapes, forms, shading, etc.) first with traditional pencils and then move to colored pencils? Or is there any merit to learning both traditional pencils and colored pencils concurrently?

Help me plan my solo superhero summer!

I'm going to really put my collection to good use this summer, and I would love your insights on my plans for my solo hero adventures. Let me know what you think about the below, especially with the ones I'm struggling with, and feel free to suggest decks and alternative heroes/matchups! I really want to get some thematic, canon-appropriate vibes going. For reference, I've already completed RotRS with Ant-Man and Captain America and Sinister Motives with Spider-Ham.

Campaigns:

Wolverine in Mutant Genesis (though I am curious about Cyclops or Gambit)

Cable in Next Evolution (though I wonder how Angel or Psylocke are in solo)

Magneto in Age of Apocalypse

Gamora in Galaxy's Most Wanted

??? in Mad Titan's Shadow

Nick Fury in Agents of Shield

Black Widow in Civil War vs Registration

Deadpool in Civil War vs Resistance

Scenarios

Peter Parker Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin

Vision or Wonder Man vs. Ultron

Ant-Man or Hulkling vs. Kang

??? vs. Mojo (is Jubilee any good in solo?)

Thor or ??? vs. Loki

Vision or ??? vs. She-Hulk in Synthezoid Smackdown

She-Hulk or ??? vs. Vision in Synthezoid Smackdown

EDIT: forgot this one, Tigra vs The Hood

Any recommendations for storing cards/tokens/dice/misc extras? I don't have the official storage boxes

I'm loving this game and I'm building up my collection. The various cards, envelopes, dice, tokens, etc., have outgrown the core box. I guess I could use a shoe box, but do any of you have solid recommendations for storage? If it helps, I don't have any minis.

What are good civilizations for someone who both loves Imperium: C/H/L and totally sucks at it?

Absent an intro game as Romans vs Scythians and one where I played Celts against Vikings, I've been pretty much getting my butt kicked by every civilization, even when I play as them. I need a self-esteem boost against Imperator bots; what are good matchups against Imperator bots that even utter morons can win?

Recommendations for piano tuners

Father in law is giving us the family piano. I'd love to get it tuned up without breaking the bank; do any of you have recommendations that fit the bill?

I've got Imperium going right now, as I want to try all the civilizations, but I've been getting Unstoppable out more and more. It's probably my ADD, but it feels silly to only have one game out at a time. Still, table space is a finite resource.

How many games do you have out at once?

I'm vibing a book a la 'Salem's Lot, 30 Days of Night, Night of the Living Dead, and/or Lovecraft (Dunwich Horror, Colour out of Space). Regular folks discovering monstrous evil taking root in their rural town, or overrunning it. Bonus points if you can recommend one like those that take place in the Midwest.

I've enjoyed American Gods, IT, Needful Things, Twin Peaks, and Wayward Pines as well, so no need to recommend them!
