'80S kid here. I'm starting to feel the itch to enjoy some nostalgia with my solo gaming. I'm a little worried about replayability, as I understand there are only two bosses in the game, but I was wondering if the game is good for one hero solo. If so, which expansions would you recommend?

I've got a fairly collection of unpainted, primed minis that are from around 2019-2020, namely Basilisks, Leman Russes, and various infantry/officers, that I'm likely never going to play. How would you recommend I go about selling them? By unit? By model? In one big collection?

I just got the box and excited to start learning the factions. I tried searching for some videos last night, but those I found were either long playthroughs (1+ hours) or not in English. Have any of you found any quick "here are the rules for this Homeland Expansion faction" videos you'd recommend?

I love being more organized and productive now that I'm taking Vyvanse, but I've realized that while I used to have a vivid imagination and could whip up characters, adventures, etc., for RPGs like D&D with ease, now it's much more difficult and inspiration rare.

Is this a thing or is it just me? If it's not just me, how did you adjust? I hate feeling like I'm losing one of the traits I love the most about myself

Thinking of trying a new bell ringer for 8th Grade Social Studies (civics and early U.S. history). In years past, students have had to look up and define in their own words a daily vocab word. It's great for them to learn vocab, but I'd love to get them off of their Chromebooks and do more substantive thinking as class begins.

1. What are your bell ringers for middle school US history/civics?
2. How do you review/grade the material?
3. How are the bell ringers structured, e.g., do they write their answers in a notebook?

I really don't want to buy someone's paid content for the answers to these questions, I would just love to hear from you all. Also, if this seems like a really dumb question, it's likely because this is a second career for me and I didn't go through the traditional School of Ed route, so I'm still building this plane that I'm flying.

PD is mid-August, and school starts at the end of August. Usually I spend July going through my curriculum and brainstorming refinements for next year (I'm under 10 years of teaching) but I'm frozen. I teach middle school, and last year was very frustrating and disillusioning for a variety of reasons, especially when it came to some student behavior issues and incidents. I want to want to get ready ASAP so I can soar next year, but I'm pretty discouraged, anxious, and pessimistic about next year.

How do you all clear your head after a bad year so you're ready to kick butt in the fall?

Is waiting until the first week of August to look at my curriculum responsible, or should I suck it up and soldier on?

How frequent are games in which there are salvaged or captured mechs from outside your faction? I have been focusing on mechs found in the MUL for Lyran Commonwealth and mercenaries. That's a bit limiting after a while, though, so is salvage/capture a canonically legit way to bring new mechs in my lists? If not, what are the issues with that?

I play a lot of solo games and I love coop games like Spirit Island and Horrified, so I wanted to hear from you guys how Deckers does at both multiplayer and solo. I'd love to hear all your thoughts, especially with regard to these two points:

1. How's the replayability?

I was about to get my hands on some watercolor pens, but I've heard mixed things. I crave your wisdom: are watercolor pens good to learn watercolor 101 with, and, if so, so I use the pens directly on the paper or do I dab them on the pallet and then brush the paint on? I've seen videos recommending both.

I'm still pretty new to Filen, it was working fine for me until yesterday. I'm keeping some random landscapes and character art I downloaded on there, as well as some screenshots of tutorials, so it's pretty much all jpegs. However, as of yesterday I will click on a picture but it will not show. I keep getting timed out error messages. I tried it on both my iPad and Pixel phone, same result.

Anybody else having this issue? Any solutions from those who have dealt with it before?

I haven't heard the most flattering things about Chapter 2, but I figured I'd ask those with both: how well do they integrate? I know Chapter 2 has updated versions of some Chapter 1 cards, but beyond that, how is it playing Chapter 1 with Chapter 2 investigators and vice-versa? How's the experience so far?

Michigan teacher here. I'm teaching an elective for the first time, and it will be a nine-weeks-long economics course. I'm planning on dividing it up into three sections: basic concepts (good/service, supply and demand, competitive advantage, etc.), national economies (market, command, mixed), and international economics (comparative advantage, tariffs, international trade agreements, etc.) We touch on some stuff in class already but I will certainly need to find more activities, resources, etc.

I would be grateful for any and all resources you might be able to throw my way. For example, for a week's foray into the stock market, are there cool stock simulators students can enjoy for free?

I'm slowly getting started learning art. I'm working my way through some basic character and drawing courses through Udemy but I also decided to concurrently learn how to really use colored pencils. However, I'm really struggling with basic shading, values, borders, and solid color. Even though it's only been a few weeks and I'm using cheap pencils and sketchpads, it all looks really amateurish and childlike.

Should I learn drawing 101 (shapes, forms, shading, etc.) first with traditional pencils and then move to colored pencils? Or is there any merit to learning both traditional pencils and colored pencils concurrently?

I'm loving this game and I'm building up my collection. The various cards, envelopes, dice, tokens, etc., have outgrown the core box. I guess I could use a shoe box, but do any of you have solid recommendations for storage? If it helps, I don't have any minis.

Absent an intro game as Romans vs Scythians and one where I played Celts against Vikings, I've been pretty much getting my butt kicked by every civilization, even when I play as them. I need a self-esteem boost against Imperator bots; what are good matchups against Imperator bots that even utter morons can win?
