Will I be disqualified from SpaceX with a bad GPA for good?

someone was telling me even if I land internships and other engineering jobs and experience that SpaceX will always disqualify me for having a complete shit GPA (2.5). Is that true, because that is my dream to make it there one day, and if I can't well I better start accepting it earlier than later. They said to me "Unless you build your own macro scale rocket and launch it with people inside to Mars, they won't hire you".

I kicked my wall, broke a hole in it and I feel guilty

Yesterday was unbearable, I'm turning 20 tomorrow I have a very rigorous mechanics of solids exam, engineering is fucking killing me and this violent outburst is proof of it. I almost crashed out in traffic yesterday because I got fucked over by shit drivers, my day was fucked from the start because I had a dream a girl I find very attractive and I were in a loving relationship, then I woke up and remembered I'm an ugly, dumb, unlovable piece of shit, and too add insult to injury my sister who I love dearly and am happy for, has succeeded in her career pretty well, and most of my family thinks she's the golden child, they don't look at how I'm literally fighting everyday to get out of bed and not end it all and it pisses me off I never receive any validation for it. I hate breaking things, this is probably the second time I've broken something out of academic anger in a mental breakdown, but I treat the objects in my house like living beings I hate to see things break, and albeit I can and likely will end up repairing the wall I still just feel so bad about what I did, all this could've been avoided if I didn't crashout and kick the wall.

Low GPA, should I switch out of Aerospace?

I have a 2.5 GPA, I'm heading into my junior year on Academic Probation, and I don't know if I can get a job in Aerospace when I graduate. I'm in a program where I graduate with a mechanical and aerospace degree but will I genuinely land a job in Aerospace with a below 3.0 GPA? I have a little experience working on my schools DBF team and their plane, and some leadership in the local AIAA branch, but will my grades default me from the industry overall?

Propulsion Engineering, what should a student do to best their chances of becoming one.

I would say working on propulsion systems is what most interests me as a student, and it's ok if I wasn't able to work as one, but what skills or projects can I do as a student to help myself if I wanted to work as one. Like would CFD, 3D printings, or anything ANSYS or other coding help I'm really curious?

Stigma of being a "crybaby"

I'm pushing 20, I'm in the fucking trenches of life right now, yk growing up with Guyanese Indian parents has to be one of the worst curses you can bestow upon a human being. Like I can see why my home country itself has the highest suicide rate in the world (not even shitting look it up) because these fuckers know how to drive you mentally ill. I'm studying mechanical and aerospace engineering which is a really depressing and hard major, and yk it's hard seeing your bullies succeed in life while also failing really difficult classes, and it's not rocket science (I haven't reached those classes yet) to realize that amount of HELL can fuck with a person, and I also have to go to work on sundays because my dad chose to spoil my brother and let him be 28 and unemployed and a sack of shit, but that's a story for another day. There was times during my freshman year where I'd just cry in my room, and yk that shouldn't be a unreasonable thing to do, people my age literally fucking kill themselves because of the amount of stress and hell we go through everyday, but I had to stop crying in my house, why is that you might ask? my parents find it weak that I cry due to the burdens they bestowed upon me plus the rigors of engineering. One day I came home from school and my mom told me how my dad was telling one of his siblings how basically I'm a fucking pussy for crying at night because of school. My mom isn't any better I can hear the ire in her voice when I'm crying whilst doing my homework, and it's really fun because neither of them are college STEM educated so it's not like they can provide me any fucking help or anything. Truly I feel like one day I'm gonna have a really bad nervous breakdown and never recover from it and what's even better is one of my uncles who studied engineering in the 80s told me he used to cry and how his tears used to land on his desk and how I shouldn't be stigmatized by his siter and his brother in law for this shit.

Failure to Success stories

What is your Engineering Failure to Success story, I'm close to getting kicked out of school, and I'm doing my best and I feel like I'm about to throw away my entire future as a result. I try to work as little time at my job and do enough for school but different professors, course loads, and other factors have defeated me :(

What happens after Probation?

Do you get kicked from your department like SEAS, or kicked from the school if your semester GPA is below 2.0 but overall CT and Cumulative overall is above 2.0, someone put a nuke in my first midterm and I might get a C- or lower...

Most hirable skills?

I'm curious what are the best skills/knowledges that we can have as engineering students that are most likely to get us hired for internships and or jobs. I'm wondering like coding knowledge or how to build or print things maybe, I really want to know so I can spend these next months and my junior year building myself up to be the best engineering student I can be!

I still feel angry about my 5th birthday 15 years later.

Maybe it seems childish especially since I'm an adult, but on my 5th birthday, my mom got me a batmobile toy...aaaand then she got my BROTHER that spoiled piece of shit a lego set even though his birthday was damn well months before mine and when I asked if I can have it they both said no. Now maybe it seems childish for me to hold this anger when I'm pushing 20, but the thing is my brother was always the most spoiled child in our family and even to this day he treats us like shit, he steals from us and overall just is a douchebag who's 27 has no job and just leeches off my parents. Me on the other hand I was forced to get a job at 18, I've been grilled for struggling in engineering and all the while my parents make me earn my own everything. Also funnily enough I'm the youngest and he's the middle child.

3d printing a drone, where to find parts?

So I plan on 3d printing a drone base and then making my own, but of course I need my own flight computer, motors, and other respective parts to allow it to fly and for the coding and stuff. I was wondering where I should browse for such items online, what website(s)?

Dad got scammed out of a LOT of money, is there anything he can do.

Unfortunately despite me warning him to investigate things before he puts money into them, my father dumped thousands upon thousands into a scam called Casder, and now he is in debt to family members, and overall lost a ton of his own money as well. I genuinely don't know if I'll be able to afford college now because this guy disregarded the one thing I told him with his money which was "invest safely". Please any advice would be appreciated every dollar he could alleviate will help all of us.

Any other engineering students finding it miserable here?

I feel like they really just hate me or something I'm trying my genuine hardest but I always do bad, some of these classes genuinely make me more mentally ill too, statics and physics 107 and 108 literally sent my mental health back so far and every semester I get a lovely email informing me of how bad I'm doing but barely offer me enough resources to help. One of my friends who also struggles with engineering has actually been advocating for SEAS to do more to help students and one day he showed us an email of the department telling him if he keeps advocating for that type of stuff they'd genuinely punish him...I don't know that's just how engineering has been for me has anyone else been having a miserable time?

Any good book suggestions for rockets?

I want book recommendations for rocket knowledge and how to build them, I am not familiar with any of this stuff really. If the book teaches about different thrusts, and gimbal, and even maybe some 3d printing advices or techniques I'd love a book like that. I very much appreciate your inputs and advice for books thank you!

Are the codes per set?

I was wondering for the new game, if the codes for the golden skins are per lego set, or if you buy one set you get all the skins from that single code. I don't really have the money for all those sets I'm still kinda in college, but if it's all skins in a single set I'd be more likely to enjoy them.

Is that the mayor dead in his office in A New America?

Genuinely whenever I open the mayor's office I cannot tell if that is the mayor himself dead, or if it's one of his workers or something. The wiki says it is likely him but they also mention how his character model doesn't look like what it is portrayed to be in the in game media. I also feel one of the swat members would make a comment about if it was him sitting there dead, but I'm just uncertain.

Did they make A New America worse?

I beat A new America the first week it came out during my spring break, came to revisit it, is the fourth floor worse now? I swear I just get an absolute onslaught of enemies that beam me in 4 seconds now. I don't know if it's placebo because I haven't played in months or if they made the already cracked AI worse...

What's the worst grade you got on an exam?

I got an 18% on my diff eq final. I couldn't Laplace Transform if someone held me at gunpoint for my life, and my attempts to try and learn to do it was a solid 5+ hours of my life wasted. I feel like a degenerate because most students breeze through diff eqs and I really struggled.

Pre Order Bonus question? Lego Batman

I was going to pre-order lego batman the dark knight legacy, for Xbox Series X, and I saw gamestop is doing a pre order bonus of a poster. When I went to the store I asked the dude there, and he said the poster was a "first come first serve" and I believe he said that if I want to get it I should purchase it and maybe show up with my receipt is my best bet, but that gamestop has a lot of traffic and it wasn't guaranteed. My question is, if I pre order the deluxe edition online digitally, and go to gamestop and show them proof of it, will I be able to receive the poster or not?

3D Printer for summer projects?

I'm planning on doing some summer projects like 3d printing a drone for example, but I don't have a 3d printer yet, and I want the best one for a project like this or even 3d printing rocket parts. I have a budget around $500~, and I was told that BambuLabs have some pretty good ones. what are your inputs?

I work so hard and try my best and I fail.

I am genuinely trying in school, I think I might have dyscalculia or something, because of all my classes I especially struggle in math classes. I have a low GPA 2.3, I'm on probation, and I think if I do bad this semester they will kick me from my newly earned leadership position in my aerospace club. I feel really bad everyday, I want to be an engineer, I want to succeed in life, but my hard work is always negated by my poor grades, my school is notorious for having a difficult weedout system that's dedicated to killing off STEM majors. I just feel like a worthless loser, I plan on quitting my job next semester so I can try and not fail out of school, but I still feel like I'll fail even more classes even though I'm trying my hardest, my advisor told me I need to aim for A's and B's and then I realized right there that I still haven't gotten a single A in Engineering, which makes me feel like I don't even belong here. I just want a better life as an engineer, but my life especially since adulthood is just pure suffering.
