Hello once again beautiful fixingmovies sub. We all know what time it is and what I and you are all here for so let’s get right to the chase. Been working on my Spider-Man Brand New Day rewrite and the goal here was to tighten the story and make everything feel more connected. I’m keeping some core ideas like Peter mutating, Jean Grey, Punisher, Hulk, and the idea that the threat is someone who we can’t really see, but this time having it be a lot more persona & traditional to Spider-Man’s history & not it being Jean or the DODC, because I don’t think they worked nor do. I also tried to set up Essex/Sinister in a unique & fun way for his eventual turn up with the X-Men. Curious to hear what you all think, and please enjoy!
3 years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker begins his final semester at Empire State University while continuing to protect the city of New York as Spider-Man. (We still get the iconic montage with several iconic Comic Book pages brought to life. I’d only add Rhino, sorry personal thing lol.) Still haunted by the loss of Aunt May and the memory spell that erased him from everyone’s lives, Peter discovers that both MJ and Ned have returned to ESU for their final year but tries his best to remain out of their way.
During his first week back, renowned geneticist Professor Miles Warren is introduced as the university’s newest genetics professor after Bruce Banner temporarily steps away from teaching. Warren is introduced to Peter and takes him under his wing with the two bonding over genetics & evolution. During one talk after class, Warren tells Peter that Spider-Man represents one of the greatest anomalies ever documented, stating that his gifts could one day help medical breakthroughs & possibly change humanity. Peter dismisses it as harmless curiosity, unaware Warren’s fascination with Spider-Man runs a little deeper than he knows.
Across New York, a string of violent incidents has left dozens hospitalized as ordinary civilians suddenly become aggressive & violent before collapsing. Mac Gargan is the latest victim of this attack as he’s unleashed onto the streets in his Scorpion suit before Spider-Man & Punisher intervene & stop him, unknown to him that he was being controlled. Detective Jean DeWolff arrives on the scene as she nor the authorities have been able to determine the source of these outbreaks. The two begin working together, maintaining contact & sharing info across this case.
Peter continues to manage his life at ESU whilst trying to avoid MJ & Ned but can’t and bumps into them. Ned not knowing who he is but always being a friendly face, invites Peter to a college party that’s later on that week.
Spider-Man ends up intervening when a tank rampages through the city. The attack involves a mysterious red head girl named Jean Grey, who appears to be responsible for the chaos after dozens of civilians were caught in the violent episode. Jean was infected by the same mysterious virus responsible for the other attacks, causing her powers to spiral out of control before she was able to finally push back against it. Mistaking her for the source of the outbreak, Punisher attempts to kill her but Spider-Man intervenes, seeing that she is just another victim & not the actual cause. Convinced that only one person is capable of understanding Jean’s condition, he brings her to ESU to meet Professor Miles Warren.
Warren studies Jean & realizes she possesses a rare mutant genetic unlike anything he’s ever seen. He agrees to help & along with Peter the two of them develop a suppression collar that’s based on research Warren once conducted alongside Bruce Banner for his own device to calm down the Hulk, allowing Jean to finally regulate her powers. Jean’s mutation catches Warren’s attention tho, as he notices her psychic abilities prove capable of interacting with the virus without being consumed by it. Using the newly built collar he built for her, Warren activates it & begins to manipulate Jean’s mind, turning her into a source of a new wave of infections across New York.
As life briefly returns to normal, Peter contemplates going to the party that Ned had invited him to, & reluctantly attends. Ned shows him his Spidey Tracker & once again meets MJ, now happily moving forward with her life and dating someone new. As the night continues, Peter begins experiencing strange physical changes. His spidey sense is enhanced, and organic webbing unexpectedly begins replacing his web shooters. Unknown to Peter, Warren’s virus has slowly started to adapt to Spider-Man thanks to Jean.
Peter attempts to adjust to his new organic webbing & senses but is having a really hard time.
Warren uses Jean’s telepathy to spread the virus even further to lure in Spider-Man and eventually targets Bruce Banner. The infection breaks Banner’s control over the Hulk & unleashes a new Savage Hulk across New York. Spider-Man and Punisher race across the city to stop his rampage before managing to calm Banner down and free him from the virus’s influence. In the aftermath, Jean now fully under Warren’s control, appears & confronts Spider-Man. Speaking through her, Warren finally reveals himself as The Jackal, confessing that every outbreak & civilian under control has been him on behalf of his search. Using Jean’s telepathy, Warren forces her to search Spider-Man’s memories, uncovering his secret identity along with memories of Aunt May, MJ, Ned, and the sacrifices Peter has made. With him mentally and physically overwhelmed by the virus mutating inside him, Jackal captures Spider-Man and escapes. Punisher manages to free Jean from Warren’s control, but Peter is taken before they can regroup or stop him.
Inside Jackal’s laboratory, Peter is told the truth by him.
Warren has spent years developing an experimental virus capable of transferring human consciousness into another host after being diagnosed with a terminal disease. Every previous subject he has tested on has rejected the procedure, leaving Warren’s body deteriorating. His research eventually led him to New York. He intends to transfer his consciousness into a healthier body, & Spider-Man’s biology has not only survived the virus but adapted to it, making Peter the perfect vessel as he claims. As Jackal prepares the transfer, Peter begins to struggle against both the virus and his own rapidly mutating body with his spidey sense going absolutely crazy.
Realizing Warren is preparing to kill Spider-Man, Jean tries to convince Punisher that they cannot stop him alone. After seeing Peter’s memories, she seeks out MJ and Ned, knowing they still remain the people he’s most connected to. Without revealing his identity, Jean explains that Spider-Man needs their help. Ned retrieves his Spidey Tracker allowing & helping the group to track Spidey down at Warren’s laboratory before the transfer is completed.
As Jackal begins transferring his consciousness into Peter, the virus begins to overwhelm him. Peter’s arachnid vitals explode, his eyes go black, his finger nails go sharp, and he begins to start growing limbs out of his body. Jean, Punisher, MJ, and Ned arrive too late to stop the transfer & witness Spider-Man’s transformation into Man-Spider. With no memory of him, MJ reaches out and pleads & tells Spider-Man to not give up, and that no matter who he is behind the mask, people still & will always believe in him. Hearing her words gives Peter the strength to overcome the virus & Jackal’s influence, fully embracing his new Man-Spider abilities as he destroys the transfer machine & puts a well deserved beat down on Jackal, whose own deterioration has finally caught up & consumed his failing body, bringing years of twisted experiments to an end. Jean & Punisher manage to use the collar he had built for Jean on Spider-Man, reverting him back into his regular form.
In the aftermath, MJ and Ned thank the masked hero for saving them once again. Peter debates whether to reveal himself or not but ultimately makes the decision not to, accepting that their happiness matters more than reclaiming the life they once had. He wishes them luck on their final year. Peter shares a goodbye with Jean Grey about it all as she thanks him for his help as does Peter. He thanks her for not revealing his identity & thanks her for letting him talk to MJ & Ned again. She tells him that she’s able to restore their memories & asks Peter if he would like that, but he explains to her that as Spider-Man… sometimes he has to make the tough decisions… even if it breaks Peter Parker’s heart, as he rejects her proposal. Jean says goodbye as she gets on a bus, heading towards upstate New York.
The final scene is Spider-Man getting a call from Jean DeWolff as she thanks him for all his help. He receives an alerts him of a nearby crime. He smiles & heads towards the action as he’s joined mid swing by Punisher in his van, as they head towards the chaos, vowing to bring justice to the streets of New York.
“Let it happen” by Tame Impala is the outro.
The end.
The DODC investigates Warren’s destroyed laboratory. Among the recovered research is a damaged storage case with the name Essex Corporation on it**,** hinting that Warren’s work had been financed long before he ever arrived in New York.
Spidey Tracker is off earth. Same as the original one because I still have no idea what it means but I’m assuming it has something to do with Doomsday/Secret Wars.
IT IS NOW THE MOMENT MANY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. A YEAR OF WORK HAS LEAD UP TO THIS-

ENJOY!!
Feel like we all wanted him as T’Challa/Black Panther, but I’m very excited to see what David Jonsson can do.
Either way I think Damson is an incredible talent and I would love to see him showcase that in the world of Marvel. What do ya think of him as Erik Brooks/Blade? The Daywalker. Ali I feel like was wasted and as Kevin stated feels like a total loser for not making it happen. I did fancast him as my Black Manta for DC so this is mainly for marvel but lmk what ya think!
What are you guys’ thoughts on this? Kinda bummed about it not being a Suns film (poor Ali) & Levy directing😭 but let’s go!!! Ghost Rider!!
On September 5th, our new DC Universe Server officially goes live.
We’re currently working on getting both our Discord and Reddit communities up and running, with more details to come over the following month & we will announce & link when the new server is up & running. Thank you all for supporting this so far.
A new universe. A new beginning.
September 5th, 2026.
Hope to see you all there. 🚀
I’m sort of worried that in Avengers Doomsday the Russos’s will sort of disregard the unique take that was brought in for Namor in Wakanda Forever. I know there are some people who aren’t entirely fans of that change from Atlantis to mesoamerican culture but I think it was unique and if they were ever going to replace him/it, I feel like it could’ve been done in a post SW reboot rather then here.
What are you guys’s thoughts? Are ya fans of the Namor we got in WF? Or are ya looking forward to a more “comic accurate” Namor as everyone else is putting it for Doomsday.
Got grilled on this sub for my last post about Adam & Him being casted for the X-Men. I warmed up to the idea of him as Magneto & would’ve loved to have seen it, but Mister Sinister makes a lot more sense. I’m excited, are you?
Rumors going around since SDCC is on the horizon that marvel/Disney will be unveiling some of the X-Men. Patrick Wilson as Charles with Adam Driver being Erik/Magneto. I’ve also heard Bill Skarsgard’s name in the mix for Charles?? Idk tho, thoughts?
Not sinister? Not Henry Gyrich? But Magneto?…. Idk how to feel about this but man I don’t think this is the right call
Edit** after reconsidering & reading, I think this is actually a really good casting. Def would’ve wanted somebody else for the role but I think I was definetly tripping
Final edit** mods have taken down my post, thanks for all the interactions. I actually now really really love this casting. Cheers!
Would you guys be upset if they give us Namor x Susan scenes in Doomsday? I only ask because appearently there are & have been many rumors for a while that these two will share some screen time together & allude to their comic history.
I’m not a fan of it especially with this version of Namor but I’m curious as to what you guys all think & how they could pull it off.
Any chance or hope that Namor would ever be introduced or show up in X-Men 97? I know he’s obviously far more associated with the F4, but I’m sure there’s a version that exists in this world, plus he’s a mutant and has incredible storylines on Utopia, & for the Avengers, & also had some nice small moments in Krakoa.
Or nah?
Back again!! This time around I’m taking on Wonder Woman. A little scared considering how she’s one of the more prominent DC characters yet it feels like she hasn’t been utilized to her full potential. I hope to see all kinds of wonders to the land of Themyscira & for Diana to take on all sorts of threats.
So here is the DCU Wonder Woman cast.
Let me know what you guys think, thank you for the support on all of these! Next up… Teen Titans!!
Back again with another DCU fancast! This time I’m doing one of my favorite characters Aquaman, who I feel confident in that the DCU will do right along with his Atlantean tropes. 🔱🔱
Love the support on these and will continue to do them until I run out of ideas lol, let me know what you guys think!! Next up is Wonder Woman!
There was also a Apocalypse card shown/leaked & I wonder if the Season 11 unknown character dropping alongside Doom could have anything to do with it.
Who are ya most excited for? What roles do ya think these characters should be? And who else do you think they should add?
without further ado.. premiering for the 1 year anniversary of this universe! Doctor Strange is here!! Thank you to everyone who’s been apart of this journey. Link below, take a read and enjoy!! Leave a review and let us know what you think!

My attempt at rewriting The Boys Season 5 by maintaining significant plot threads, adapting certain comic ideas, & overall keeping the focus on The Boys, Gen V & the demise of HL. Let me know what you guys think, this rewrite was & is merely for fun lol. I wanted to take a crack at it due to a mixed reception so enjoy the read pls.
EP 1*:*
- Slight changes for this one really, tho it remains mostly the same. I’d have The Boys & Butcher remain separated, as Butcher hasn’t been seen in months. Starlight along with Emma, Marie, Jordan, Sam & Cate help breakout Hughie, MM & Frenchie from the Starlighter camp in which HL was using to anticipate Butcher’s appearance before he killed them. A-Train still sacrifices himself to save them & belittles HL on his final way out.
- Love Sausage is still killed.
- Episode ends with Butcher watching A-Train’s funeral on live television in which HL announces to the world that he was a traitor & was corrupted by Starlighter propaganda & warns his followers to not follow his same fate. Watching the broadcast, Butcher decides it’s finally time to reunite with the team.
EP 2:
- HL becomes** increasingly **paranoid. Believing he needs someone loyal & powerful, he awakens Soldier Boy once again. Bitter after Butcher’s betrayal in Season 3 he’s manipulated by HL into seeking revenge on Butcher in exchange for clearing his name & joining The 7. Soldier Boy reluctantly agrees.
- Saddened & mourning A-Train’s death, The Boys & Gen V are reunited with Butcher who they have not seen since he last killed Neuman. There’s a fight but ultimately Butcher is able to convince & manipulate them that he’s perfected the virus in order to kill HL. They still have their suspicions on him using it on all supes.
- Now reunited, the group argue & agree that they need proof it can actually kill powerful supes before using it against HL. Their mission becomes the G-Men mansion who are former top Godolkin University graduates & people who they can test the virus against.(instead of Teenage Kix).
- HL tipped off via The Deep or somebody, sends Soldier Boy & Noir 2 to infiltrate The Boys & bring them to him (unaware to him they have the virus). Soldier Boy & Noir 2 would share some hilarious scenes.
- The Boys mission on the G-Men mansion is infiltrated by Noir 2 & Soldier Boy, in which during the fighting the virus is accidentally released. Cate sacrifices herself to enter Soldier Boys mind but is killed by Noir, the virus then infects all of the G-Men & Noir 2 while Soldier Boy leaves him behind after being immune & barely escapes. The mansion explodes. The G-Men die. Cate dies. Noir 2 dies.
- The Boys believe Soldier Boy died in the explosion, as he secretly survives & disappears for now. Episode ends with HL realizing the virus may actually pose a threat.
EP 3:
- Episode opens with** **Vought, Ashley, & Firecracker trying their best to do damage control after reports of Noir 2 & The G-Men dying begin spreading around. HL tasks Sage with finding Stan Edgar & finding out more about Project Odessa.
- Butcher has a same heartfelt 1 on 1 talk with Ryan. Ryan tells him to fuck off stating he won’t be picking any sides this time. Butcher reveals what actually happened to his mom.
- The Boys move to track down Stan Edgar, who is in hiding. They reveal to him the events of the G-Men mission & tell him they think they may have killed Soldier Boy with the virus during the chaos, to which he asks for a body, & when The Boys can’t confirm one, he doubts.
- Stan Edgar then reveals another truth. Vought spent decades studying Soldier Boy & the rest of the supes who were injected with the first iteration of Compound V. Referring it as to V1. He explains that if this virus truly killed Soldier Boy, it would be the first recorded case for his kind. (This plants doubt within the group, if Soldier Boy survived somehow, then the virus may not be a guarantee against HL & it also plants seeds for Vought Rising instead of making it a focal point here. They can expand & elaborate on V1, how Soldier Boy survived, Bombsight, etc in that show.)
- Stan reveals to them there may still be one remaining solution. The original Black Noir. He explains to them that after his “death” (Season 3) the government recovered his body & have been keeping him alive at a nearby undisclosed black site where he has been exposed to large amounts of radiation in an attempt to possibly mimic Soldier Boy’s blast.
- Ryan confronts HL at Vought tower instead, over his mother where they fight. HL beats Ryan to a pulp before he’s stopped from killing him by Sage & Ashley.
- Episode ends with Sage presenting Project Odessa files to HL & him finding out about Marie.
EP 4:
- Episode opens with HL enforcing more propaganda across America, putting out significant bounties on The Boys & Marie. Meanwhile The Boys, Gen V & Edgar begin tracking down the site & Black Noir.
- Soldier Boy resurfaces after having tracked down Ryan after his fight with HL at an abandoned place. Soldier Boy awkwardly attempts to apologize for everything that happened & admits he could have handled things better between HL & Butcher. He tells Ryan to not pick sides between either of them because it’s only going to get him killed. He invites Ryan down to Mexico where they can get away from everything & fuck their way through south like Grandpa & Grandson as he jokes.
- Ryan disgusted by him tells Soldier Boy to stay away from him & to go “fuck himself”. Realizing Ryan wants nothing to do with him, Soldier Boy leaves. This becomes his final appearance in the series, leaving his fate up to Vought Rising & possibly The Boys: Mexico.
- By the end of the episode, The Boys, Gen V & Edgar successfully locate Noir’s position. However his condition is far worse than they anticipated.
EP 5:
- HL’s control over the country becomes more unstable as he begins killing political leaders & candidates across the country who are not loyal. Eager to prove her loyalty to him, Firecracker begins tracking down Starlighter camps & refugees in an attempt to lure out The Boys and or Annie.
- At Vought, Sister Sage uncovers hidden files regarding the Flight 37 video & the governments secret project involving Black Noir. She sees how unstable HL has become & that the world is heading toward an end with him.
- Meanwhile The Boys, Gen V, & Edgar attempt to recreate the blast using Black Noir, but repeated tests keep failing due to Noir’s heavily damaged condition. Despite this, they continue pushing forward, believing Noir may be their final shot against HL. MM receives a call from A-Train’s family about a Starlighter shelter being attacked by Firecracker. Annie leaves the group to respond while the group can continue working on Noir.
- Realizing time may be running out, Sage stages a massive political rally attended by HL, President Calhoun, & other loyal HL officials. At the same time The Deep uncovers the files that Sage investigated involving Noir & Edgar & heads off to alert HL about it.
- Meanwhile Annie arrives at the shelter to confront Firecracker & save A-Train’s family.
- At the rally, HL notices Sage is nowhere to be found as out of nowhere the Flight 37 footage begins to play across every screen in the building, & across the nation exposing HL’s true actions to all of his supporters for the very first time. Panic erupts across the entire rally & country.
- Sage makes contact with The Boys at the black-site. Though nobody trusts her, she reveals she knows exactly what they are attempting to do with Noir. Seeing Marie with the group, & reading Project Odessa, Sage realizes Marie’s blood powers may be the missing component needed to stabilize the process. Together, Sage, Frenchie & Marie begin attempting a new procedure on Noir.
- Meanwhile, Starlight having confronted Firecracker, they fight & Starlight kills her. Firecracker dies.
- Back at the rally, HL completely SNAPS. In a fit of rage (mimicking Season 2), massacres everyone inside the building leaving the nation in panic. The Deep arrives horrified but tells HL of what he has learned. HL sends Deep towards Edgar’s hideout.
- The Boys, Sage & Marie, attempt the procedure & as it appears it may work, it fails, killing Black Noir before the blast can stabilize. With Noir dead & no options left, Kimiko volunteers to go under the process, believing her healing factor will give her the best chance at this to use it against HL. They begin the procedure.
- The Deep arrives at Stan Edgar’s hideout where no sign of the Boys are to be found, except for Terror. Terror attacks Deep, & in a fit of panic, he snaps Terror’s neck, killing him.
- HL tracks the group down at the site. Jordan & Frenchie sacrifice themselves to buy them enough time for the procedure to successfully go through & hide from HL. Jordan goes up against HL in a defiant 1v1 leading him inside the uranium room, while Frenchie keeps his iconic “I bet you’ve never danced a day in your life..”
- Episode ends with HL killing Jordan & Frenchie as Jordan dies in Marie’s arms while Frenchie dies in Kimiko’s…
EP 6 THE FINALE:
- Following the release of Flight 37 & the massacre. HL seizes control of the White House & announces Martial Law. Deploying supes around every state in an attempt to “purge” any Starlighter & people who are not fully loyal to him. Ashley & the military begin prepping countermeasures to possibly Nuke Washington, but it’s out of the question.
- The Boys meanwhile mourn both Jordan & Frenchie, giving them a proper burial. Sage provokes Kimiko like in the show in an attempt to test out her chest blast, which turns into a success after it leaves Sage powerless.
- As The Boys & Gen V prepare for their final assault, Butcher leaves the group to retrieve Terror from Edgar’s hideout, only to discover him dead. This breaks Butcher completely as Kessler appears one last time, convincing Butcher of what needs to be done.
- At the same time, Ryan watches the chaos that’s unfolding online as footage of HL & his reign spread across the world. The military’s contingencies have all failed as HL destroys several tanks lined up across the White House lawn. Realizing he needs to be stopped, Ryan decides to head to Washington & confront his father once & for all.
- The Boys, Starlight, Marie, Sam, & Emma, launch their mission towards the White House. They fight through a small army of supes at the lawn with Marie, Butcher & Kimiko being the OP ones taking down most of them. During the fight, Starlight confronts The Deep & brutally kills him along the Lincoln Memorial steps in a satisfying death. Ashley tells the army to stand down.
- Butcher, Marie, & Kimiko reach the Oval Office where they find HL surrounded in blood & corpses, & President Calhouns head on the desk. Fully unhinged now, HL only has 2 words for Butcher. “Scorched Earth.”
- A brutal fight commences between the Trio & HL. He begins to overwhelm them, and right as he’s about to land the killing blow on Butcher, Ryan arrives & joins the fight against HL. Together Ryan, Butcher, & Marie using her blood powers, restrain HL long enough for Kimiko to charge up her blast, destroying the entire White House & leaving everyone powerless.
- Butcher & HL are the only two still conscious, as for the first time in his life, HL can’t use his powers. Butcher & him fight on a 1v1 hand to hand fight that’s nasty & dark. I’m talking biting, punching, choking, all that. HL begs him for mercy as Butcher kills him with his crowbar, mirroring the comics.
- With HL dead, the surviving members celebrate as they believe the nightmare is fully over. However, as they regroup Hughie realizes both Butcher & the virus have disappeared. Having gone to Edgar’s hideout, The Boys & Hughie find Terror dead.
- Understanding what Butcher intends on doing, The Boys search for Butcher everywhere, with Hughie finally tracking him down at Rebecca’s grave. Butcher admits he plans on releasing the virus, he’s convinced another HL will eventually rise again if supes continue to exist. Hughie pleads with him, reminding him of Becca, Ryan & everything they fought for.
- The talk turns into a fight, as in a heartbreaking moment Hughie is forced to kill Butcher in order to stop him from releasing the virus. As Butcher dies beside Becca’s grave, Hughie stays with him until the end…
- The series concludes with MM reuniting with his family. -Marie, Sam & Emma return to normal lives after being made powerless. Sam & Emma move on together. Marie reunites with her sister again.
- Kimiko mourns Frenchie & moves to France.
- Hughie & Starlight move on with Annie becoming pregnant & them owning a video store together.
- Ryan grieves both Butcher & Becca, as he chooses to become something more & better. The final scene teases Ryan still having his powers as a nearby police siren is heard.
