Pitcher method with Kendamil

Is anyone doing this?! I’ve heard of people doing the picker method (pre make and store in fridge for 24 hours) with other formulas but wondering if anyone has done this with Kendamil specifically since the introductions on the tin say to make fresh each time if possible.

Let me know, thanks!

Glass alternative to the doctor browns formula pitcher

I want to try the pitcher method and the doctor browns formula pitcher with the adjustable stopper is the main pitcher I’m seeing online, but I want to use glass instead.

I have seen this momcozy breastmilk pitcher which is glass, but I’m unsure how to mix the formula in it as it doesn’t come with any type of built in way to mix.

Follow up question: How do I mix a large quantity of formula?!

Formula at 9-10 months?

Baby has breast milk via bottle/pumping but I can’t see him weaning any time soon as he doesn’t eat solids really (he only tolerates yogurt). I need to start weaning myself off of pumping soon AND I need to find a way for him to get iron, so formula feels like the solution.

What do you think? Is it weird to jump to giving him formula this late in the game/just for iron?

Do babies have to stop formula at 1 year? I’d think not, if he isn’t eating much solids.

Also- formula recs for baby who has only had breastmilk for this long, please!

8 month old only eats spoon fed yogurt

He used to eat other purées like cauliflower, lentil, apple, etc. (all spoon fed by me). He’s never been able to do BLW, he only plays with foods but doesn’t put them in his mouth, and the odd time he does like with cucumber for teething, once he realizes it’s a food and not a teether he drops it.

He only eats yogurt and he’ll tolerate eggs mixed in but nothing else!

I’m so tired yall. And I’m worried he’s not getting enough iron.

What do I do! Has anyone else been through this/did they just get better at eating one day?! lol

If oat is a trigger do you also avoid rice

My allergist mentioned avoiding rice cereal as well since baby has had a reaction to oats, but I can’t recall him explaining the reasoning.

I really want to try rice cereal because baby is 8 months and doesn’t have much solids and I’m worried he’s not getting enough iron so I want to try an iron fortified cereal but baby can’t have oats or cream of wheat.

Has anyone with an oats triggered baby tried rice cereal and been okay/not okay?

Best formula for FPIES baby

Baby has had yogurt (dairy) and is fine, but hasn’t had many other foods. He can’t have oats or rice or wheat due to fpies reactions.

Curious if any other fpies parents have tried and had luck with specific formulas?

Baby is 8 months and has had only breast milk up until now.

Baby won’t feed himself even though he used to

Baby started solids around 5 months (purées) and would feed himself via spoon or those silicon feeders. He loved avocado and mainly that was the food he’d feed himself super well.

He unfortunately had an fpies reaction to avocado, oats and wheat. Every time he had a reaction (throwing up) we would take a break from food to give his stomach time to recover.

This made the introduction of food very slow. Now, at eight months he won’t feed himself at all, like even if it’s something he likes (yogurt) he’ll hold the spoon and look like he wants to put it in his mouth but he’s almost scared to.

And I’ve tried foods he can pick up but he just plays with them. Which is funny because he puts all his toys in his mouth, but not food.

Help!

HOT banana bread matcha?

So bored of non coffee non fun hot drinks.

Mainly wondering about the banana bread matcha- I think subbing brown sugar syrup and adding one pump banana syrup? Maybe top with whipped cream and cinnamon? I still want the matcha flavour to come through though.

Open to ideas for any fun hot matcha or chai drinks please!!

Similar diaper to Huggies little movers

7 mo had started getting a rash from this diaper by his waist and thigh creases but otherwise it has worked so well for absorption/blowouts. He’s size 3, has chunkier legs, and mostly breastfed so poops are often and liquidy still.

I’m considering Huggies skin essentials, pampers swaddlers, Kirkland, Millie moon?!

How to introduce formula after only breast milk for months

My baby is 7 months and has only had breast milk (I’m an exclusive pumper so via bottle). He also has FPIES so he has reactions to some foods, so I would like to be cautious with introducing formula.

I’m thinking to start with one bottle per day/or week?! And earlier in the day so I can watch for reactions (he’s tried dairy but since he has FPIES I want to be cautious).

Any advice? Should I start with a small bottle? Is there a chance he’ll get constipated? Once he’s good with it should I give him near bedtime for better sleep?

Also- I’m mostly introducing formula because baby isn’t eating much solids (again-due to fpies) so I want to ensure he’s getting enough milk since he’s not weaning really, and my breastmilk supply may not be enough.

Baby is 7months old still waking every 2 hours

Baby has never slept through the night and as an exclusive pumper it’s getting hard, HELP.

Baby naps twice a day because he refuses any more and I stretch his wake windows as much as I can.

He usually wakes for comfort, sometimes for food, lately because he can’t find a comfy sleeping position and just ends up playing around for a hour in his crib (he sleeps in our room but in his own crib).

Has anyone used Feramax for added iron for baby?

Baby has fpies and is triggered by/cannot have oats or rice cereal which have added iron. I have also tried red meat which he refuses. Haven’t tried beans yet as I’m being cautious with common fpies trigger foods.

Has anyone tried feramax powder on their baby for added iron? How did it go? What did you mix it into?

Baby is six months, breastfed, 45 percentile weight, 85 percentile height.

Does huckleberry sweet spot still work the same if you cancel and repurchase

I’m currently paying monthly for plus and I want to switch to yearly, but in order to do so I need to let my current month run out and then repurchase but the yearly one instead (which will also be cheaper than monthly). I’m worried that since there will be a day or so without the plus membership and without sweet spot, the ai will be inaccurate when I restart….

Did anyone else cancel and repurchase and the sweet spot still work the same for them?!
