Is everyone seriously expecting Navier to pull a Mon Mothma?
Like seriously it's a simple romance drama.

Infamous couples like Joey (Pisces) preyed on a 16 yr old girl and got his his wife (Taurus) shot in the face, Chyna (Taurus) chokes Rob (Pisces) with a phone cord, Chris (Taurus) beats Rihanna (Pisces) and Burt Pugach (Taurus) blinds Linda (Pisces) with acid then she marries him. Respectfully what is so sweet, romantic, sensual, classy and soulmate vibes about this?
All signs can hurt each other but why is this pairing so lauded when in reality it be like this?
That it's starting to make you really uncomfortable?
It makes me wonder if I look pathetic in some way.
So much so that she can afford to be so particular that she can go back and forth for it?
So much so that she can get away with being so particular about it that she can keep going back and forth for it?
By that, I mean sexp
By that I mean, sex

I tend to dislike most Taurus suns?
There are some chill ones with lots of integrity that I like but some others seem so angry/easily gets mad and fake to me.
Perhaps Maomao herself might not recognize it in herself or actively suppress the idea because not only that Fengxian herself is interested in herbs/plants or that Loumen is basically a doctor but that Maomao herself might actually subconsciously upon seeing Fengxian's skin and condition since childhood drove her to experiment on her own skin and being fully aware of her mother's eventual demise later on after she was purchased by Lakan, the obsession with the resurrection medicine (a fantasy drug in the first place) could translate in her mind as being 'closer' to the possibility of actual resurrection? And that her frustration (perhaps even rage) with Lakan is not merely directed towards what she perceives to be the superiority of his natural talents that her adoptive father admires but a frustration in his seeming lack of initiative/action/assertiveness throughout her life (how he didn't even initiate in really sleeping with Fengxian in the first place, how he was powerless in being sent to study abroad, how he didn't push enough in communicating with Fengxian through letters or trying to sneak off or fight off his trip away, perhaps how he did not force himself enough in her life with Loumen).
Even as she reflects on Ah Duo's supposed realism and her possible motivation for the continued stay in the rear palace, Maomao seems to read the truth of it that it was out love/sentiment/care for someone who must be precious to her (to her, these were the biggest motivators even beyond power/control/survival). Most of the characters in their world often lie to themselves and others in words and appearance (clothing/makeup/public persona) but their actions always to speak for themselves whether it's Ah Duo trying to seem more masculine so no one would even suspect she is a mother still who continues to look over her child, Lakan's self-villainizing even as he's innocent, Jinshi's carefree eunuch disguise even as he personally struggles with the identity of being a legacy of what is essentially the son of god of their time, Anshi's young voice hiding the internal, deeper voice of a much older woman and Granny's show of a woman solely bent on accumulating as much money as possible which absolutely in now it's to fund expenses for years for a daughter who she could never even publicly recognize.

Solid, iwas final written warning.
anyone want the code?
sayang eh
did Maomao amongst other personal reasons mainly asked him to purchase Fengxian because she thinks that Lakan's attachment to her (Maomao) is just mainly because she's the daughter of the woman he loves rather than really her as herself or as his daughter? 'like dude you don't really want me around, you're just looking for a piece of my bio mom.'
i feel like she can't channel the pride and arrogance of both her gran and mom because of her parental issues. even with a literal prince being attracted to her, she still firmly focuses on the power dynamics even asking jinshi when he literally came to her rescue to please protect her (though she'd prob reason out that it's due to the rebellion or runaway concubine).
coz possible male heir?
