How to soothe my cat until I can get her to the vet? Please help.

Species: Feline

Age: 5 years old

Sex/Neuter status: Spayed female

Breed: Domestic shorthair, looks similar to a Siamese

Body weight: 13lbs

History: No known past illnesses or conditions.

Hi, last year my cat got bit by a flea and had a severe reaction. I am assuming she is allergic to them. She developed a bunch of itchy sores on her lower back and neck. The sores would become bloody from her scratching and licking them as well as ooze out pus.

The same thing has happened again and I am unable to get her to the vet until possibly the end of the month. I have no gas money or money to pay for her treatment at the moment. I am waiting on a physical credit card to arrive so I can get her help but it will take a couple days.

Is there anything I can do in the meantime that can soothe her sores? They are already bloody and I can tell she is uncomfortable. She is still eating, drinking, and using the litterbox as normal so I do not think her health is deteriorating that badly but I really want to help her not feel so bad.

Any advice or help is appreciated. Please help, it is breaking my heart seeing her like this.

How to add Valyrian female polyandry to my save file?

Hi, similar to male Valyrians, they are allowed to have 3 spouses. Is there any way to edit my current save file or add a mod that allows the same for my Valyrian female characters?

For context, I am currently playing as a High Valyrian Queen in Westeros who follows the Valyrian faith and I would like her to have more than one husband.

Looking for words of encouragement or advice

Hi! I am F21 and I have been experiencing chronic migraines since I was 17. I have been told that I have unusual migraines as the pain typically starts on the left side at the base of my skull then travels throughout my head and down my neck, shoulder, and arm. The pain is often pulsating or electrifying and because of how frequent they are, I spend most of my time in bed. No one has been able to figure out the cause of these migraines either.

I have been on countless medications that either: 1) work for a few weeks then stop working, 2) do not work at all, or 3) cause me to have a bad reaction. My current medication is Baclofen and it somewhat worked for awhile but for the past few days, it has not been working whatsoever. I have been in a ton of pain and discomfort. I am absolutely unable to do anything. I cannot even seem to shower or cook for myself.

Unfortunately, I am unable to see any of my doctors either as I lost my health insurance awhile back. I cannot go to urgent care because I genuinely do not have a single cent to my name right now. I am contemplating going to the hospital to see if I can receive any sort of help for this pain but just because I feel like I am dying does not necessarily mean I am and I do not want to waste anyone's time. Plus, I am very worried about the bill afterwards.

I just feel very defeated by all of this. I would genuinely do anything for the pain to just go away for an hour or two. Not to mention, I am my mom's caregiver so I need to focus on her as much as possible but it's very difficult. I would love some words of encouragement or advice on what helps you during severe migraines.

I switched Seasonique generics and now I keep having breakthrough bleeding...?

I have been on Seasonique for awhile and up until the last two months, I was on the Jaimiess generic brand. While on Jaimiess, I experienced absolutely no side effects and I did not even have a period. Unfortunately, I lost my health insurance so I could not afford Jaimiess from my regular pharmacy. I switched over to costplusdrugs but they offered the Daysee generic brand instead.

I assumed Jaimiess and Daysee would be the same as they have the same active ingredients. Regardless of this, ever since starting it, I keep having breakthrough bleeding, constant cramps, bloating, and constipation. My main complaint is the breakthrough bleeding though.

Could this be due to the inactive ingredients? Has anyone else had an experience like this?

Is there a mod that allows you to have full chests in your inventory...?

Hi, I have been spending a lot of my time in the Skull Cavern mining for resources with time pause enabled. I hate whenever my inventory is full and I have to go back to my farm to drop off everything. Is there a mod that is similar to how shulker boxes work in Minecraft for example?

This may already be a feature in the game that I am not aware of as I am not super far into it yet but if anyone could give me a mod link or a suggestion, I would greatly appreciate it.

edit: had to fix a typo lol

[Intro] It is nice to meet you all!

Hi everyone!

My name is Elizabeth and I am 21 years old. I am currently in university majoring in Social Work in the hopes of becoming a social worker/elementary school counselor one day. I am a huge homebody, I enjoy spending most of my time at home hanging out with my family and cat.

Some things to know about me is that I am a huge gamer! Some of my favorite games are Stardew Valley, Crusader Kings 2, Rimworld, Town of Salem 2, the Sims 4, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Some of my favorite shows are House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones, Interview with the Vampire, Bojack Horseman, 1883, Freaks and Geeks, and Anne with an E. I do not watch many movies but I will say that my favorite movie of all time is Bones & All.

I love Sanrio (my favorite character is Pompompurin), blindboxes, reading, collecting funko pops, tarot/oracle cards, astrology, Korean food, occasionally going to antique stores, gaming with friends, the ASOIAF series, and more.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here! Let me know if we have anything in common ❤️

I wish my life was different

Just to clarify, this is a post I made last night but deleted shortly after. I was really anxious to share all of this but I want to repost it as I am feeling more confident to do so.

I am nervous to make this post but I just really need an outlet to rant. I am F21 and I have been dealing with headaches/migraines since I was 17. The pain starts at the base of my skull, particularly the left side, then travels around my head then down to the left side of my neck, shoulder, as well as my arm. Sometimes the pain is pulsating or electrifying but the hard part is that the pain is ALWAYS there. I have legitimately been in pain almost everyday since I was 17 and I do not know what triggered it. I have tried diets, supplements, and hundreds of medications. Either the medication does not work, I have a bad side effect, it works for a few weeks then stops working, or in one case, I am allergic to the medication. I am currently on Baclofen but it only gives me some relief.

I recently lost my health insurance due to aging out of it so I can no longer see any of my doctors. The last doctor's appointment I had, we discussed the possibility of me having occipital neuralgia but even if I do have it, it is not like I can get help for it anyways since I literally have no health insurance. I recently started applying for jobs in hopes of accumulating some sort of income to be able to pay to see any of my doctors but it seems like no one wants to hire me.

No one in my life takes my pain seriously, not even my own mother who has chronic pain herself. A lot of people write me off as lazy, a liar, or that I am just being dramatic. I feel like it is because in the beginning, I used to scream, cry, and complain because of the pain but now I am so used to it that I feel like there is no point in doing that. My daily pain level ranges from a 6 to an 8 (on extremely bad days, a 10) but when I take my Baclofen, it lowers to around a 4 or 5.

Due to this pain, I feel like a lot of the fun in my life has been taken away from me. My biggest hobby was playing games on my PC but now I struggle to even do that. The only energy I have is to just lay down and play a few games on my Nintendo switch then force myself to fall asleep just so the day passes by quicker. I even struggle with basic activities like cooking, taking care of myself, cleaning, and more. My brain is always just focusing on the pain so it is hard to do anything else.

I do not understand why I was burdened by all of this at such a young age or why all of this suddenly started when I was 17. I cannot remember any physically traumatic experience that could have happened to make my body react like this.

I apologize for this awfully long post but I just needed to rant. I am exhausted.

What is the coloring of my Siamese cat?

I have been told by a neighbor that she appears to be a Tortie Point Siamese but I am not entirely sure as the photos online do not seem to necessarily match her appearance. I could be wrong though but I would like to hear other people’s opinions on what her coloring may be.

Thanks!

edit: just learned that she is NOT a siamese cat. thank you to the ones who educated me ❤️

This is my beautiful Fiona Marlene 🫶

I adopted her when she was a little over a year old from my local shelter. She is now 5 years old and I have loved her ever since I first saw her. She is the world’s sweetest cat. She loves standing on the top of my chair and watch me play games and she even sleeps next to me every night. She is my first ever cat and I love her dearly.

I recently discovered this subreddit and I just wanted to share her with everyone 🫶

Help! Lego HP Years 1 - 4

Hi, I just want to preface this with that I’m not the best at games so I know I’m probably missing something but I just need help in figuring out what it is.

I can’t seem to go to the next stage without unlocking this chest I presume. I have tried everything and I am unsure of what to do. I don’t know if the glowing patches of soil have something to do with it or not but none of my characters can seem to dig them up.

Please help! I’d really appreciate it.

Just to clarify, I am playing on switch.
