Where can I do volunteer work?
I'm a student in Kyoto who wants to work as a volunteer (cleaning, charity, helping at a camp....), it doesn't necessarily have to be paid but I don't know where I can look for offers, are there any good websites?

I have the habit of making yogurt bowls for breakfast and I recently moved to Japan. I used to use skyr from Yoplait (from the french supermarket to be precise) and I'm currently struggling with finding an equivalent yogurt in Japan. The yogurt there is very runny and I need a thicker consistency. In terms of macros, my skyr had 9g of protein and 50 calories for 100g.
Is there a japanese yogurt I could get at the supermarket that resembles the one I used to eat ? I don't know how I could spend my mornings without my usual yogurt bowls :(
Apple, cereal flakes, soja puffs, pistachios, pumpkin seeds, brazil nuts, almonds (all nuts roasted on the pan) ground flaxseeds and cinnamon: all of it on skyr

My routine consists of waking up at 7AM, walking the dog for 30 minutes and feeding it. Then I make the same yogurt bowl with espresso and eat it while playing the NYT games. Next I unload the dishwasher that I turn on before sleeping and clean the kitchen. Finally I spend the rest of the morning studying maths and going to the gym.
Ironically, I progressively get lazier throughout the day and usually spend the afternoon playing Roblox and taking naps lol
Skyr, mango, strawberry, pistachio, pumpkin seed and cereal flakes (mix of 5 grains, sugar-free) with a sprinkle of ground flax seeds and cinnamon !
Can't forget the espresso
Im a 17 year old girl, 44kg and 174cm.
For context I have been struggling with >!anorexia!< and have lost about 13kg in the span of a year. I have lost my period, noticed a drop in energy levels and experienced severe mood swings. I'm aware this is extremely unhealthy and we are working on seeking medical help (psychological and physical). I did blood tests and scans, and thankfully I don't have anything other than the symptoms stated above.
I'm still struggling and somehow reached a BMI as low as 14.3 and maintained a body fat percentage of about 8%.
I don't skip meals nor do I completely cut off fatty foods, but I tend to over exercise for the caloric amount I intake.
I hope things get better soon for me and I'll be able to find proper help, but for now I'm curious about how serious my situation is. Do I need to be hospitalized?

I NEED to know how to stop thinking about food, because I'm genuinely starting to go insane.
(For context, I'm a girl who is underweight due to undereating and is currently supposed to recover my period.)

I have fully accepted recovery but lately I just cannot stop thinking about food, whether I'm hungry or not, I tried distracting myself in multiple ways but the thoughts are just TOO loud.
Plus I'm having problems with acid reflux and it's difficult for me to eat and often makes it very uncomfortable. I tend to not get hungry for long periods and never felt the need to snack in between meals.

Lately, my mom has been demotivated to cook and we eat pretty late. Sometimes my dad has to take over and he often repeats the same meals and adds weird ingredients or doesn't properly follow recipes, which ruins dinner.
To make things worse, my little sister is EXTREMELY picky and it has started to stress me out, because she doesn't eat properly and sometimes doesn't eat enough. Seeing my sister take tiny portions triggers me to extreme degrees and it's all I think of. There was even a period where I skipped meals because my sister did the same, except that I go to the gym 4x a week (I like cardio, so I burn quite a lot when I go) and that broke my body and mind.

My eyes keep jolting to the clock, wondering when we'll eat, what we'll eat, if my sister will eat, if I'm hungry enough for dinner, if I should have a snack even if I'm not hungry, etc....
My mind gets SO loud and it lasts throughout the whole day, I feel nauseous and as a result I just cannot focus on ANYTHING. The food noise is jarring and I cannot take it anymore. I randomly start bursting into tears and have meltdowns in front of my family, but they just don't seem to fully understand what I'm going through.

I need to make this stop because I'm so exhausted but I just dont know what to do anymore. I'm in a state of constant discomfort and stress
Decided I wanted to be a stinky menace for lunch °v°
Gaspacho, can of chili marinated sardines, bell pepper, tomato carpaccio, cream cheese and toasted sourdough!
Had some iced water with mint as well 🌱
I have always avoided butter on toast and mostly ate yogurt bowls in the morning.
Today I woke up with a smile and made myself one toast with butter and honey (which was my favorite kind of toast!!!! I was transported back to my childhood :D) and another with cottage cheese, ham and greens. I ate this along with a cup of espresso and played the daily NYT games.

The past couple of days I have been feeling horrible and my body was clearly shutting down, both from stress and underfueling, especially since I started exercising. I was on the limit of being hospitalized.
I spent 3 years restricting foods as a teenager and did not realize how much it affected me, and drained me of my energy and my true personality.
I was known as a bubbly, enthusiastic and social child but I had lost my spark and spent my teenage years in hell, the years went by in a blur and I was not able to create memories, because I did not even have the energy to make friends and hang out.

I have always LOVED food and ate as much as I wanted as a kid, it was my whole personality. However I started seeing food as an enemy and used it against myself as a form of punishment. I cannot believe I allowed myself to destroy the body that used to be so full of joy and energy.

I especially wanted to share this because I believe people need to snap out of this ridiculous diet culture. Social media has destroyed food with "low calories meals".
I spent too much time believing the tiny portions influencers ate were normal, too much time thinking skipping meals was a good thing and way too much time seeing fats as something we absolutely need to avoid.

PLEASE eat what you want and listen to your body when it asks you for something. Eat what makes you happy and let the food provide the energy you need to grow and thrive!!! 🌻
And to the people that may be going through recovery as well, trust me when I say that it gets better, and it is necessary to push through even if it's tough. I had a very hard time accepting recovery but I was finally able to snap out and now life is starting to feel amazing!
A few generous scoops of cream cheese, ham, tomato, lettuce, olive oil and whatever seasoning I could find and had the best nap on the couch afterwards (The picture does NOT do it justice it was the thickest and juiciest sandwich ever yumyumymu)
I woke up and immediately had a sweet treat too I feel great
I have had struggles with food, recently I gained consciousness and noticed it's starting to get dangerous for my health. I got my body composition measured and saw that the numbers were dangerously low.
I don't feel like I've been that strict in my diet, just slightly restricting myself from time to time (never f*sted for long periods or purg*d) and I haven't noticed I've been slowly losing weight. I was only afraid of gaining some and never actually wanted to lose any.
I've also been obsessed with the gym but every time I try to take rest days I feel AWFUL and get horrible mood swings for the entire day. So I end up going at one point during the day and end up feeling much better and relaxed.
I took an appointment with a dietician and I'm trying to eat more (which I was initially motivated and excited about because food is probably one of my most favorite things in life) but suddenly I've been losing my appetite as well as my enthusiasm for food. I'm still a little afraid of dense foods and I'm wondering when it'll ever stop.
How long can recovery last? How do I know if I need to be hospitalized? (Is it the doctor who decides or is it myself?)
