[Spoilers main] What if Dalton Greyjoy supported the Greens during the Dance of the Dragons?

I’ve been thinking about an alternate scenario where Dalton Greyjoy sides with the Greens instead of pursuing his own independent agenda. Could this significantly change the balance of power at Sea? I think Dalton commands the Iron Fleet, one of the most experienced naval forces in Westeros when it comes to raiding and naval warfare, while the Greens have the support of the wealthy Reach and Westerlands, but their navy does not directly match the Velaryons. So if the Iron Fleet worked together with the Green fleets, they could realistically challenge Velaryon dominance at Sea. I also keep thinking that sacking Driftmark and destroying the power of House Velaryon, who are the main obstacle to controlling the seas, would be very tempting for a Greyjoy, since control of the sea is not just about battles but also constant opportunities for raiding and plundering. On the other hand, the presence of dragons on the Black side would make any large scale naval operation extremely risky, and the Velaryons might still maintain their advantage through experience and organization even without a decisive battle

Why does Camille feel so dead right now?

First of all, I want to thank all the Fiora mains who responded to my last post it was really interesting reading your opinion. Now I’ve got a question for Camille mains. I’m a Riven main Gold/Plat elo, and I’ve been hearing a lot of people say that Camille is currently in a really weak spot. I also remember Drututt saying she’s basically dead or just very weak right now. I don’t play Camille myself, so I’m curious what exactly is causing this. Is it her laning phase, items, matchups, or something else? I also have to say I kinda miss fighting against her, she always felt like a really interesting and skill based matchup. I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially from people who have been maining Camille for a long time

Will you be playing league Classic?

Riot announced league Classic and I’m wondering if anyone is going to play it. I’ve never played the old seasons, so I don’t really know what to expect. I’m curious if it will feel like a completely different game or just an older version of League. It would be cool to try it, especially since I heard Riven was really strong back then. She was added at the end of Season 1, so she still counts as part of that early League era. It would be nice to see the old animations and the original feel of the game. What do you think? Is it worth going back to that version or not?

Where did all the Fiora mains go

Hey guys, I’ve been playing a lot of ranked lately, and I’ve noticed I almost never see Fiora any more. I’m a Riven main myself, so I really enjoy skill matchups, and that’s why I kinda miss her on top lane. Fiora has always felt like one of the most skill-expressive matchups in the game and it used to be really fun to play against her. I’m in Gold/Plat elo, and this season I’ve only faced Fiora like 7 times total, and that’s it other than that she basically doesn’t exist in my games. I’m wondering if it’s just my MMR/elo or if something changed and people just stopped picking her that much

Why is Riven so hated by the community?

Everywhere I look, people are complaining about Riven. The way some players talk about her, you'd think she's one of the most broken champions in the game. But when you look at the actual stats, the situation doesn't seem that clear. Yes, Riven has around a 51.85% win rate, which is relatively high for a mechanically difficult champion. However, there's an important detail that people often ignore. Riven is played mostly by mains and OTPs. She's not a champion that random players pick up every few games. Most Riven players have dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of games on her, so it's only natural that her win rate is higher than that of many champions with a broader player base. For comparison:

  • Senna ADC – 57% win rate.

- Rammus Jungle – 54.21% win rate

- Taric Support – 54.37% win rate

- Vex Mid – 54% win rate

- kayle Top 53.91% win rate

- Singed Top – 53.63% win rate

- Riven Top – 51.85% win rate

Yet I don't see nearly as many complaint posts about these champions as I do about Riven. It feels like the issue isn't necessarily her strength, but her design. Riven has a lot of mobility, a very high skill ceiling, and when you run into a good Riven main, she can look completely unfair. But that doesn't automatically mean she's stronger than champions with significantly higher win rate. Do people actually hate Riven because she's overpowered, or because she's frustrating to play against?

Does this image of Ned Stark match how you envision him? [Spoilers Extended]

I recently came across this artwork of Ned Stark and started wondering how well it matches how people actually imagine him from the books. I saw a similar post before with an illustration of Tyrion Lannister, and it’s hard not to agree, it’s really difficult to find good book accurate fanart of Tyrion, because most artists tend to make him look much more attractive than he’s described in the books.

A shoutout to the Imperia I/II class Star Destroyer

Since the Venator was introduced, I’ve noticed that the Imperial class Star Destroyer has increasingly been looked down on and treated as a “worse” ship. People often say it’s ugly, outdated, or that the Empire doesn’t know how to design ships. Honestly, I don’t really agree with that. The Venator is a great carrier and works very well in a fighter support role, but it’s a completely different type of ship built for a different doctrine. The Imperial was never meant to be a carrier it’s a line warship designed to dominate battles, win direct engagements, and project power through heavy firepower and presence. It’s not just a combat vessel, but also a symbol of the Empire’s strengthen.I feel like these two ships are often compared in a way that doesn’t really make sense, because they serve different purposes. The Venator isn’t “better” it’s just different. And the Imperial isn’t “worse” it’s simply designed for a different rolę. That’s why I think the Imperial class Star Destroyer deserves more respect than it usually gets in comparisons with the Venator

Can someone explain to me what is the difference between these ships and what role they are supposed to play?

Hey! I’m starting a roleplay game with my friends, and right now I’m trying to figure out what the differences are between these ships, what each of them is used for, and which ones are actually the best in practice. I’m also curious why the Empire created multiple variants instead of just one universal ship. Also, which would be the best ship in a post-Empire setting? If anyone knows about this, I’d really appreciate an explanation.

What kind of fleet would you build for the Pentastar Alignment, and what doctrine would it follow

You've just been appointed by Ardus Kaine as Chief of the General Staff of the Pentastar Alignment. Your job is to build a fleet capable of defending Alignment space from rival warlords, keeping the New Republic at bay, and doing all of that without bankrupting the state or stretching logistics beyond their limits. What kind of fleet would you build Would you rely on large capital ships like ISD as the backbone of the navy, or focus on smaller and more mobile task forces? How important would carriers and starfighters be compared to raw firepower? Would you invest in a few powerful fleets or spread your forces across multiple Sector? Most importantly, what do you think the Pentastar Alignment actually needed to survive after Endor and outlast the other Imperial successors? Curious to hear your fleet ideas, doctrines, and overall strategies

Was the Victory-class Star Destroyer meant to be the main backbone of the fleet?

I’ve always wondered whether the Victory class Star Destroyer was meant to become a long term main capital ship, or just a temporary design. I have the impression it was more of an intermediate step between the Venator and the Imperial-class. It was meant to quickly strengthen the fleet during the war and fill the gap, but it was still not as refined as the later Imperial

Riven build

Hey guys, I’m thinking about coming back to League after a long break and I want to start playing Riven again. I already understand the rune setups, but I’m really lost when it comes to item builds because the game has changed a lot since I last played and I don’t know what people build now. I want to ask what the current standard build on Riven is, what the most common first items are and when you choose each one, and what a typical full build looks like in the current meta (Top/mid)

Was the ISD already ineffective after Endor, and what ship would be better for a post Empire and warlords?

It feels like the Imperial I and II class Star Destroyer stopped being very effective after Endor. Before, it worked because the Empire controlled entire systems and could force enemies to fight on its terms. But after the collapse of the Empire and clashes with the New Republic, warfare became faster and more scattered. In that kind of environment, ISDs feel slow, expensive, and easy to avoid, which reduces their advantage a lot. So what kind of ship would actually be better for a post-Empire force? Something smaller, cheaper, and more mobile, working in groups instead of relying on one massive floating fortress? Was the ISD already outdated at that point, or could it still have been effective with the right tactics?

If Riven got a music universe skin, which band would you put her in, and which one is your favorite?

I’m curious what you all think. If Riven got a skin from one of the music skinlines, which band do you think she would fit best in?

Pentakill, K/DA, Heartsteel, True Damage or something completely different?

And also, which of these music skinlines is your favorite? I’d like to hear your picks and why you think so.

Which Imperial ships do you think should have been retired, replaced, or even brought back into service?

I’m curious about your opinions. Which Imperial ships do you think no longer made sense, were poorly designed, outdated, or simply didn’t perform their intended role as well as they should have? If you could redesign the Imperial fleet, which ships would you phase out, what would you replace them with, and which Clone Wars era ships would you bring back? For the sake of discussion, let’s assume Tarkin has only a limited influence on ship design and naval doctrine, so we focus more on strategic, logistical, and practical considerations. Should the Empire have continued developing some Republic-era designs like the Venator, Acclamator, Arquitens, or Victory instead of focusing almost entirely on massive Star Destroyers and super projects? Or were some Clone Wars ships already obsolete and better left discontinued? In my opinion, the Acclamator should have been brought back into service. It was primarily designed as a troop transport assault ship, capable of rapidly deploying large ground forces, while still carrying enough weaponry to defend itself in standard fleet engagements

Am I the only one who thinks 92 starfighters on a Venator makes way more sense than 420?

In my opinion, 92 fits the Venator’s role as an assault carrier much better and also fits Republic doctrine more. 420 sounds impressive, but when you actually think about it, it creates a lot of problems. You’re not just storing starfighters. You also need room for fuel, ammo, spare parts, maintenance areas, pilots, technicians, and all the logistics needed to keep hundreds of fighters combat-ready. Also, I can’t think of many ships in either Canon or Legends that carry numbers that high while being similar to the Venator. 420 fighters is an enormous amount. I also don’t really see it fitting the Republic’s doctrine. The Republic fought with fleets of multiple Venators working together, not single ships throwing out massive fighter spam. That was closer to the Separatist style relying on numbers and mass production. The Republic was usually portrayed as relying more on better pilots, coordination, flexibility, and higher quality forces. I know there’s an argument that 420 fighters would make sense because the Republic needed to fight the Separatists’ numerical advantage, and I’ve seen discussions making that point. I understand the idea, but I’m not fully convinced. If the Republic’s answer was just “bring even more fighters,” it starts blurring the difference between Republic and Separatist doctrine. Honestly, 92 just feels more believable, scales better with the ship itself, and matches the way the Republic fought the war. My personal theory is that the 420 number might simply come from an author or editor who didn’t fully think through the scale, or maybe it was just a mistake that later got repeated. What do you think 92 or 420?

Why do we still default to top lane instead of mid on Riven?

Hey Guys, I’ve been wondering why Riven players still mostly stick to top lane as her default role, when mid lane might actually solve a lot of her issue. Top lane is currently heavily dominated by ranged and tanks stacking armor and health, and Riven struggles a lot into that. She has no built in armor penetration, no true damage, no % HP damage, no AP scaling, and no Sustain based tank shredding. This makes extended fights into Tank heavy top laners feel pretty rough unless you get ahead early. Meanwhile, mid lane is filled with squishier champions, more roam opportunities, and less pure armor stacking. In theory, this should line up much better with Riven’s kit she excels at burst, skirmishes, and mobility rather than front-to-back tank fights. So my question is: why is Riven still considered a “top lane default” champion when mid lane seems to remove a lot of her worst matchups and plays more into her strengths?
Is it just tradition, wave control, or are there deeper reasons I’m missing?

Off-meta Riven builds for fun?

Hey Guys, I’m looking for funny and unusual Riven builds for Draft, more for fun than tryhard. Do you have any suggestions? (Top, Mid, jg)

What would happen if a Core World tried to leave the Republic before or during the Clone Wars?

What do you think would’ve happened if a planet from the Core Worlds decided to leave the Republic either before the Clone Wars or during the war against the Separatists? Would the Republic try to stop them politically and economically first, or would it immediately be treated as treason and lead to military intervention? I’m also curious if there were any Core Worlds in canon or Legends that genuinely considered joining the CIS. Most Separatist systems we hear about are from the Outer Rim and were dissatisfied because of corruption, taxes, corporate influence, or feeling ignored by the Senate, but we rarely hear about wealthy and influential Core Worlds wanting to secede. Could a major Core World realistically join the Separatist or Neutral without causing a massive political crisis inside the Republic? And how do you think the Jedi, the Senate, and Palpatine himself would react to something like that?

Does anyone else have a game lag issue? For me, it looks like everything happens slower, and the longer the gameplay lasts, the more the FPS drops. I noticed that 3 of my friends have exactly the same thing. Anyone know what it could be about? Was it some recent update that broke something, or rather a problem on the hardware/settings side? In lol. Because I'm doing a speed test and it turns out that I'm okay and in the game as I played before with 33 pings I now have 50/55 and I don't know why
