Am I able to batch a bourbon peach smash the night before?
I’m hosting friends on Saturday and I’m wondering if this cocktail is batch-able. Would either peach or mint become bitter or develop a bad flavor if they’re muddled and mixed in the day before? I imagine I’d want to omit the ginger beer until the time comes to actually pour the cocktail into glasses? Also, would I need to add extra water for dilution for this single serving recipe if I batch it, or do I just scale it up? Thanks in advance!
Ingredients
½ to 1 ounce brown sugar simple syrup
½ large peach, diced (about 1/2 cup)
3-4 large mint leaves
2 ounces bourbon
splash ginger beer (preferred) or seltzer water, chilled
ice
fresh mint and peach slices, for garnish
Looking for alternatives to Dingles Public House
I have reservations at Dingles Public House in a few weeks but I'm getting cold feet, especially after reading recent reviews. I recently traveled to London and had a fantastic Sunday roast at Fallow and I have a feeling I'll be somewhat let down by Dingles. I'm going on a Wednesday so obviously Sunday roast won't be offered, but the rest of the menu looks grossly overpriced for what you're getting. Does anyone have a good alternative they'd recommend? Looking for a spot with your classics like pies, sausage rolls, etc. Thanks!
House lift costs in 2026
I've seen a few houses over the past few years in North Oakland do a house lift to gain a second floor, and I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same but just gain some height on the bottom floor of my 2 story SFH. The garage height is annoyingly low and I'm curious what I'm looking at in terms of cost, and/or recommendations from anyone who's done this in recent times. ~1000 sqft on the first floor.
Thanks!
Can I use financed EIP phone on another plan
My wife and I have two separate plans:
Wife: Go5G Plus plan
Me: Legacy T-Mobile One plan
We want to take advantage of the iPhone 17 Up to $1,100 Trade-In promo so I am able to upgrade my old iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 17 Pro.
Is this even possible? i.e. if the new iPhone is on an EIP on my wife's Go5G Plus plan, would I be able to then use the phone on my separate T-Mobile account? We are concerned the EIP credits would stop being issued if the phone is not used with a phone number on her Go5G Plus plan.
Comments in this related post seem to indicate that I can?
When I'm going through the check-out flow in the Apple Store app for purchasing the new (unlocked) iPhone, I'm asked which line the new iPhone will be used on. Selecting her line seems like it would replace her current iPhone (not desired). Selecting the other option seems to start the "setup a new line" flow (also not desired).
If I select the "replace current line" option, would T-Mobile support be able to help us swap the e-sim back to her existing phone (resulting in the new iPhone having no e-sim on it)? And then following that, would I be able to call-in to T-Mobile and have them move my e-sim to the new iPhone?
This related post seems to outline what I've described above as well.
Thanks in advance — mostly looking for confirmation that this will work without issues.

How to optimize training?
I've always have a Faerie Quest Fortune Cookie active, occasionally do Kitchen Quests, but have been primarily training these pets up at the Ninja Training School. Any additional optimizations or additional recommendations?

Coming from a G27. I just setup my pedals and I can’t even depress the pedal an inch. Should I have this many elastomers installed? This is what it came like out of the box. I tried the configuration tool and it still seems too stiff, even at 10kg, I can’t push down the pedal at all
