Asleep in the backseat

I keep hearing reports of people in the CT going to sleep in the backseat and letting it drive them home. This can't be true, can it? I mean my 26MY constantly nags me if I play with the radio to long and will disengage if I ignore it.

Are these stories from people just trying to gaslight us?

Old HappyModel Mobula 7 and 6 upgrade

I have two older Happymodel Mobula6HD and Mobula 7 whoops. One with the HD camera and the other one I bought back in 2021. Both are D8 FRSKY versions. I want to upgrade the boards to use ELRS. Which board and camera would be the best option. Motors are 802 1900KV. I didn't really like the HD camera so I could replace that one.

It's been awhile

Just start back playing around with my Mobula7 1s.Meteor Air 65 or 75. I checked a couple of my old favorite RC sites (Raceday Quads, Pyrodrone and Getfpv) and everyone seems to be out of stock of just about everything pre built. I fly available l analog, Walksnail and HDZERO. Where is everyone buying their drives from? I'm also looking for a 3invh Park flyer to stay under 250g.

Thanks

Tire rotation

I know this has been brought up before but for anyone needing to rotate their tires Discount Tires will do it for free. They only charge if you need to balance the tires.

For a lot of us driving across town to a service center isn't always convenient.

Home and parking lot issues

Since I've upgraded to 14.3 my car no longer wants to park in my driveway. It wants to park in my neighbors yard. I've deleted my old home address and reset and it still does it. Went to Petco today and it tried to park in the back parking lot when there were numerous parking spots open by the door.

Not sure what happened with the update but I'm getting a bit perturbed by this new behavior. Even on the old versions I never had these problems. Truly frustrated.

Check your Lower Steering assembly

Just wanted to let everyone know about a potential issue with this part. I noticed some popping, clunking and loose steering on my 2024 Super Duty with the 7.3 motor. I put it off at first as maybe just hitting bumps or bad roads. After continued symptoms I took it in for service. Come to find out the steering assembly was totally defective. They replaced the broken parts (whole lower steering assembly) under warranty so that was cool. The truck drives so much better now. Just wanted to let fellow F-250 owners know that if you hear or feel anything similar to go get it checked out.

There's also a SSM 53169 released by Ford for this particular issue mainly targeting trucks built on or before July 12, 2024

My 14.3 update

Positivity is what I have to say! No problems so far other than wanting to camp on the left lane on Standard mode. Sometimes it will get over after passing a car but most of the time it would stay in the left lane even with cars riding my butt and there's no cars in the right lane.

Handled my drive from Dallas to Galveston with ease. Parking at charging stations were great. I only stopped at two but they always backed in like it's supposed to do opposed to previous versions that would miss the charging stations completely and I would have to disengage and navigate to the charging station manually.

This is only one trip so I'll post later after a month of driving on the new software.

I had that truck for 8 trouble free years and enjoyed the acceleration and gas mileage it provided. The ride was awesome and it towed my 22ft boat with no problem.

We wanted to try the RV life for awhile and at first all the RVs we saw that the truck could pull didn't fit our lifestyle.

We decided on a 33ft fifth wheel. That necessitated a bigger truck so in comes the big boy 2024 F-250 with the 7.3l Godzilla motor. Tows like a dream but man is she thirsty. The ride is nowhere near as nice as the F-150 but it is a work truck so there's that.

Just wanted to say how much I miss my old Ford, she served me well.
