Are Snapdragon laptops a good fit for IT/IS/MIS studies and stuff

As someone who wants to study MIS/IT/IS was thinking if buying a Snapdragon based Windows laptop would be a good idea. How is the support for linux? In general compared to x86 how different are they and also what about drivers? Some of the laptops don't even have drivers for some common stuff like audio chipset and what not on their website/support page. Was looking at Asus Zenbook A14 and HP Omnibook 5.Should i stick to x86 instead?Currently am rocking a HP Elitebook x360 1030 G3 with i5 8350U and 8GB RAM /512GB Samsung OEM drive.I don't wanna limit myself in any area of my field studies that I have stated.

How to know if a battery is copy/fake?

I am stuck with a battery health: calibrate status and everytime I put it on charge from dead. The laptop wants to discharge instead of taking in charge from HP UEFI diagnostics. Device is Elitebook x360 1030 G3.

Also my left hinge has suffered a slight misalignment from an accidental fall from my bed.The right hinge in the folder back state. How to get the alignment back in shape?

How to get Windows Hello facial recognition working and get Bang and Olufsen Audio control panel back?

I am using an HP Elitebook x360 1030 G3
Windows 11 Pro 25H2 26200.8737 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.334.0
How to get back the audio control GUI back?I have installed the audio drivers multiple times but it still fails to show up the GUI as attached.
trying to set up the Hello facial recognition doesn't get past the "Make sure your face is centered in the frame" .The device uses 2 cameras one is RGB and the other one is IR likely even tho PIN and Windows Hello fingerprint works fine. Also forgot how to get rid off "calibrate" from battery i have tried to calibrate battery by draining it and then charging it to 100% and ran the battery calibration from the UEFI BIOS tool of HP a few times but it still says calibrate under Battery Health.
Any help would be appreciated without resorting to factory reset to fix this issue.
