Acne and sea water

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a tip that I honestly didn’t know about until recently and it has completely saved my skin this summer.

Turns out, leaving salt water to dry on your face is a huge mistake. When the water evaporates, microscopic salt crystals stay on your skin. They act like tiny magnifying glasses for UV rays, scratch your skin barrier, and dehydrate it so badly that your pores overproduce sebum to compensate. Plus, sea water isn't sterile.

**Rinse your face with fresh water IMMEDIATELY after getting out of the sea.**

Bikini suggestions for belly fat?

I have the classic lean pcos fat all concentrated on the lower belly and I am struggling to find mid-waste bottom bikinis that could contain it. Any brand suggestions?

Questioning Appsflyer neutrality

Quoting Appslfyer LinkedIn post because I cannot add screenshots here:

^(")For fifteen years we've believed independent measurement is the foundation everything else in digital advertising is built on. Today, that foundation gets stronger.

Moloco, Unity, Meta and Google have made an investment in AppsFlyer to advance independent ad measurement for the AI era.

We believe that neutrality isn't a feature. It's the foundation. Our promise is simple: Better attribution, better signals, better ads. An overall better internet. This is how we get there."

I am a bit confused, why are the keywords of this post independent and neutral while they are getting funded from industry players?

Anyone else ended up paying €55 for a taxi from Fiumicino alone because the trains weren't running at night?

Happened to me multiple times arriving late at night in Rome. No trains, no buses, just a very long taxi queue and a €55 fixed fare (or more depending where you are going) that hurts when you're travelling alone.

I keep thinking there must be other people in this queue going roughly to the same neighbourhood. Centro storico, Trastevere, Prati... Rome is compact, most people end up in the same few areas.

Has anyone ever just turned to someone in the queue and suggested splitting? Did it work? Would you do it if there was an easy way to find someone going the same direction before you even landed?

Worried when taking public transport at night arriving from the airport

But don't want to spend 55+€ each time. Wouldn’t it be useful to have a matchmaking to share a ride with other solo woman traveling to a similar destination?

I am thinking Italy specifically where no Uber, Bolt etc is available.

Central stations can be very dodgy at night, so I decide not to take the train after a certain hour.

Would you share a taxi from the airport with another solo traveller going the same direction?

The idea comes from experiencing the Rome airport quite often with never ending queues that could be shorter if 2/3/4 people going to the same direction would share a ride and arriving multiple times late at night where no trains/buses are available and I am forced to pay for the full price while I could share it if I knew someone else needed to go close enough.

The problem is that the majority of the time people don't know who is going where, so there would be the need for some matchmaking. Would you use something like this?

Could be used also to share the cost of going to the airport for those 6am flights when the trains are not yet running.
