Archive of my early experiments: 36 wacky electronic tracks by CIRC
I’m happy to share Early Works for free: 36 tracks from my early days with Fruity Loops, composed between 2000 and 2007.
Back then, my approach was very spontaneous. It was pure fun, almost like playing a video game. Whenever I had some free time, I’d build a loop and let it play on repeat while adding sounds, tweaking knobs, and introducing variations until a song gradually took shape. The result was a collection of playful, melancholic, dark, and weird tracks that I originally shared online across three albums, all of which are compiled in this archive.
Listening to them again brings a smile to my face and stirs up so many memories. While some tracks are a little rough around the edges and not always perfectly mixed, this period marked the genesis of my main musical project: CIRC.
I hope some of you enjoy listening to them.

SoundCloud distribution: Why hasn't my album been released on Apple Music and Shazam?
My album came out a few days ago on the usual platforms (Spotify, Tidal, Pandora...), but not on Apple Music or Shazam. Yet everything is checked correctly...
Any solution ?
Rite : a contemplative ambient/drone release inspired by summer night
I'm happy to share Rite, my new ambient release.
The project began with a field recording I made during a warm summer night. There was nothing extraordinary about it: wind moving through the trees, the distant hum of insects, the kind of sounds that are always there if you take the time to listen. Every summer, I find myself returning to these nocturnal atmospheres. I find them calming, mysterious, and immersive all at once.
Those recordings became the starting point for the album. I used it for my compositions, but I also treated them as a source of inspiration, trying to translate their feeling into sound. The result is four pieces built from slow oscillations, restrained harmonies, gently saturated textures, and harmonic movement.
The title Rite came quite naturally during the process. While working on these tracks, I became interested in the idea of ritual, not necessarily in a religious sense, but as a way of paying attention. Repetition can sometimes reveal things that constant novelty cannot. In that sense, the album became a kind of quiet ritual for me, centered on listening, contemplation, and the passage of time.
More broadly, I wanted the music to reflect something about our relationship with nature: not as an external landscape, but as something we remain deeply connected to. Nature can feel comforting, beautiful, mysterious, and occasionally unsettling, yet it is never truly separate from us. That tension became one of the guiding ideas behind the album.
The artwork is a photo of a tree trunk that has been flooded several times. I just added a slightly unreal blue filter to it.
I hope some of you will enjoy spending time with it.
Rite : a contemplative ambient/drone release inspired by summer night field recordings
After fading, which was featured on this subreddit, I'm releasing Rite, my second ambient release.
https://circ.bandcamp.com/album/rite
Conceived as a quiet sonic ritual, the album is built around repetition, subtle variations, and immersive textures. Across four pieces, it invites contemplation and those suspended moments where sound becomes both refuge and reflection.
I'm very happy to share it here, and I hope you enjoy it.
CIRC - Rite (Minimalist Ambient Drone)
here is Rite, a four-track release drifting between minimalist ambient and drone.
The project began with a field recording of a dark, warm summer night: hot wind moving through the trees and the high-pitched hum of insects. Every summer, I find myself drawn to these nocturnal textures — natural, soothing, intoxicating, and mysterious all at once. These simple sounds became the raw material for Summer Curve and Belladonna, while Margin and Quiet Light extend the same approach through looped ethereal textures, restrained harmonies, subtle variations, and delicate harmonic crescendos.
Inspired by nature’s fragile and mystical presence, Rite unfolds as a contemplative soundscape shaped by slow oscillations, gently saturated tones, and suspended atmospheres.
Built around an almost ritualistic sense of repetition, the record invites quiet reflection — a suspended space where sound becomes both refuge and contemplation.
Two tracks are currently available to listen to, with the full release arriving on June 6.
CIRC - Rite
hi all!
Happy to share Rite with you (scheduled for release on June 6, 2026).
CIRC - Rite
Four ambient songs that invite calm, peace, and contemplation.
The creative process is very ritualistic: a simple base (a repetitive loop drenched in reverb or sometimes a nature recording) and a subtle, almost cinematic buildup for a harmonious and pleasant, almost sacred, progression.
On this pre-release, you can discover: the mesmerizing "Summer Curve" and the sacred "Quiet Light."
I hope you enjoy it
