I know the Legion Go 2 and other Legion devices are upgrades from the Steam Deck OLED, but is the upgrade actually worth it for basically double the price?

I love handheld gaming! I typically reserve League of Legends and other highly competitive titles for my high-powered PC, but for everything else—from AAA games like Elden Ring and Warframe to Overwatch and indie titles—I prefer using a handheld. I also enjoy playing games like Genshin Impact.

One of my main questions is: can you customize the controls as extensively as you can on the Steam Deck OLED? The reason I love my Steam Deck is that it’s an all-around amazing device; I’ve never had a single issue with it. I often think to myself that if I never upgraded, I’d be perfectly happy, because handheld gaming is already in such an impressive place.

I absolutely adore my Steam Deck OLED—it’s one of my favorite products ever created, even outside of the gaming industry. The ergonomics are a highlight for me; it’s extremely comfortable, and I worry that the Legion Go 2 or other Legion devices won't feel as good in the hand. I’ve read that the Legion Go 2 is quite heavy, perhaps even too heavy to hold for long periods.

Are there any other points I’m missing? I don’t mind spending the money, but is it truly worth the splurge when I’ve never had a single issue playing the games I want on my Steam Deck?

I’m trying to decide which role to focus on to climb from Silver and up. I have about two champions per role that I’d like to strictly play, but I’m trying to decide which role is the most worthwhile to focus on. I play these roles decently and enjoy them all. I’m between Mid, Jungle, and Support. What do you think? Thank you!

I saw someone else do a post like this earlier and thought it was a great idea! It’s important to look at my last two seasons, at least. I play a lot of jungle, mid, and support, though I’ve played some roles more than others depending on the season. Thank you!
