S12 pump parts safe for Kleanpal??

Been using the s12 wearable for a few months now and just bought the kleanpal bottle washer. Guide recommends pump parts in the washer but the s12 guide does not recommend putting them in a dishwasher as it hasn’t been thoroughly tested. Anyone wash their s12 parts in their kleanpal and it be okay?

Are we sleeptraining with or without the magic Merlin?

Sleep trained my first right at 4 months and she had just learned how to roll so I ditched the sleep suit and she took to sleeping really well once she could get on her belly by herself.

2 weeks out from ST my second and he’s sleeping SO WELL in the suit I’m wondering if I should ditch it at 4 months or keep him in it as long as I can. Should I just rip off the bandaid or ease out of it once he’s sleeptrained?? Currently he does 4-5 naps depending on the day. Trying to get him up to 2 hour ww’s in preparation for ST. Usually he makes it anywhere from 1.5-2 hours.

4 month schedules to prep for sleep training please!

Babe is 3 months old and we’re a month out from sleep training. I’m actually looking forward to it as I had such a good experience with my now toddler being sleep trained since 4 months old. Anyways, looking to see what a good starting schedule to aim for once we get closer to the 4 month mark, want to set babe up for success. His current wws are about 1.5 hours and naps are anywhere from 30 minutes - 2 hours depending on whether he’s being held, in his crib, the toddler is being loud etc. I seem to remember when I sleep trained my first that she immediately went to 3 naps so I’m hoping for the same results this time around. Please share your 4 month-starting sleep training schedules! ❤️

Those who have babies that slept through the night early on, what do you think attributed to getting longer stretches?

Babe is 6 week old and feeds on demand throughout the day, usually every 2-3 hours. Usually wakes on his own to eat unless being held. If I have to wake I don’t go past 3 hours. At night babe has given me a 4 hour stretch between feeds but it’s not common, usually averages more like 3-3.5 hours between. I’ve been to a few weighted feed lactation appointments and my supply is great with no issues transferring an above average amount. Babe’s weight gain has averaged 1.5-2oz per day between lactation and doctor appointments. We have a pitch black room with white noise and he wears the love to dream sleep sack. Would love to get him to longer stretches at night or even a consistent 4 hours between would be amazing! Would love to hear any tips that you think may have contributed to longer stretches for your little ones specifically in these early weeks ❤️

Breastfeeding my 4aa and bawling like a baby

Finally worked up the courage to watch “Joy-The Birth of IVF” (I know it’s been out for a while) and YALL, the work those individuals did to get us where we are today 😭😭 I can’t wrap my head around it sometimes 🤯 I’m so so grateful, words aren’t enough to express my thoughts on it all ❤️ Anyways, don’t expect to watch it without crying 🥹

What is something going from 1-2 kids that you weren’t expecting?

When I imagined going from 1-2 and hearing how hard it would be, I had all sorts of things in my mind, but something I didn’t expect was how often I’d have to protect my newborn from my toddler! 😂 Toddler is tall so babe isn’t even safe in his bassinet. She see me bouncing him in his baby bjorn and proceeds to pull it down as far as it will go. She is used to sitting “plopping” in my lap when I read books and couldn’t care less that he now occupies that space. When I tell her shhh he’s sleeping, she proceeds to yell in his face. Tell me something about going from 1-2 that was not what you were expecting until it happened to you!

Looking for best time (price) to buy double stroller. Chicco cortina double.

Looking at the chicco cortina double stroller as we currently use the keyfit 30 for newborn as well as their activ 3 jogging stroller for both toddler and newborn but they both can’t use the stroller at the same time. With my Amazon completion discount it comes out to $306, but wondering if I should hold out for any sales coming up? I don’t think I could make it to Black Friday, but any idea if chicco or any other websites are likely to be cheaper in the next month or two? Also happy to hear any experiences with this particular double stroller, if you’ve used it! ☺️

Babe latched for first few days and now unable to

I’ll try and keep this short. Babe latched on both sides when born almost 2 weeks ago. Once my milk came in and I became engorged, babe was unable to latch on the left side. I pumped some milk to soften the breast but babe still couldn’t latch consistently. It would take 10-15 tries and I’d maybe get a latch. My breasts are both back to “normal” but still no luck. I went to a lactation appt and we tried every position possible but the nipple just keeps slipping out of his mouth. Nipple shield hasn’t worked either. Right now I’m just feeding on the right then pumping the left and giving some milk when needed in a bottle (he hadn’t gained any weight in a couple of days between newborn and lactation appt, so we’re thinking he wasn’t getting quite enough on the one breast).

Does anyone have any experience with this? Nipple isn’t inverted, but we’re thinking maybe his mouth is just too small, or it’s just the shape on that side. Hoping as he grows he’ll be able to latch, but it’s discouraging and I’m not a huge fan of the pumping every session as it adds more time to the whole process. Looking for some advice and personal experiences of anything similar. I have another appointment in a few days. Hoping something clicks!

Name for baby brother coming next week! 😬

Struggling so hard for a name this close to delivery! My type A-ness cannot handle the last minute of it all 😅 names I like but can’t seem to find a good combo for: Silas, Alexander, Graham, Preston, Felix, Xander, Roman, Theodore, Julius, Julian, Benjamin type of vibes

Side note: I absolutely LOVE the name Silas Alexander but can’t use it in that order, Alexander Silas is an option but REALLY want Silas as the first name if I’m going to use it, it’s complicated… they’re both family names, so would love to at least use one of them.

Last name is two syllables and starts with a “P” and open to any other names not listed above, just looking for classic names, nothing too common, but not too made up either, no tradgedeighs.

Thank you, yall always come through! ❤️
