What is the most comfortable style of seat or system for long distance dual sport riding? (DR650)

Sheepskin buttpad? Air hawk? There is no cheap fox, you need a custom seat made for a lot of money?

I have a seat concepts seat but it is in the shape of a dirt bike seat and is still hard and uncomfortable. I can only ride for a couple hours before the pain really starts bothering me. I tried a sheepskin buttpad and it helps but not that much, planning some big trips and could use the advice!

Recently bought a giant taro houseplant and the center leaf is facing the wrong direction. Will it turn towards the light or is there a way I can help it grow to turn 180 around? I tried twistin it gently and I got it 90 degrees

Genuinely curious why some people don’t wear gloves. Any ideas/opinions?

I get not wearing riding boots, riding pants, or even a jacket in certain situations, but no gloves? For someone that has fallen a lot in life and always puts their hands out first I can’t fathom doing that on a bike.

Oh and it’s probably a good idea to wear a helmet too 🪖

Dating without the apps

29 M New to the area and looking to meet women locally to go out on fun dates, but not through dating apps.

I’m a Chef by profession and very adventurous, outdoorsy, with lots of hobbies - surfing, (spear)fishing, motorcycle riding, rock climbing, gym, gardening, photography, guitar, etc.

I hear meetup app might be a good place to meet people, but not too many groups in this area and gym doesn’t feel like the right place to talk to people. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
