People really get offended at introversion it’s so wild

I literally just said I really like alone time and this extroverted person got super upset. Like dude it’s not your business or problem. I’m just not the person that gets enjoyment out of being with people every second of the day.

Then they imply that there’s something wrong with me or I must be traumatized.

Is it just me or does that sound arrogant af also?

Like “I’m so awesome to hang out with there MUST be something wrong with YOU”

People are overworked so much we can’t even afford the time and energy to make meals anymore

Due to commutes and oppressive working conditions * in the USA many can’t afford the time and effort to even eat at work.

It’s pretty depressing. Especially when you consider the importance of mealtimes in human culture throughout history for pretty much all populations.

It’s all protein shakes, protein bars etc…

Many people do make the time to prep meals of whole foods. But just as many if not more in my workplace don’t bother to eat or just rely on shakes.

Maybe I’m overthinking or overreacting.

But I think the work attitudes have left meals seeming like a waste of time and I find that upsetting.

Is not leaving the house everyday not normal?

I go to work, run errands and go out with people regularly. However I try to have at least one day a week where I don’t leave the house.

Not only to save gas and money, but to catch up on chores and just to “enjoy rent”.

But it seems a lot of people can’t handle just being chill at home for a full day. Or they think it’s strange to want to have just one day to disconnect and focus on the home.

So is my attitude strange?

Warning: Body Image- The only people who comment on weight are other women and it makes me upset

I’m on the starter end of what manufacturers would call “plus size” 1XL / 10-12.

Been that most of my life.

I swear the only people who have ever commented on how big I am are women who are similar or bigger sized than me.

And why? Why?

No thinner women have ever said anything about my weight. And never any guy.

It makes me so upset. Like I wish there was more solidarity. Instead I have women who know the struggles telling me I eat too much and that I should lose weight to be prettier.

I’m never going to be super thin. It’s just not possible for a variety of reasons (one being I’m super short and my recommended calories are really low).

So it’d be nice to think people who are similar to me would be kind from time to time.

Does it ever seem like NBosses are more obsessed with tracking/micromanaging good employees but ignoring slacker ones?

I try to do well at every job due to my inherent anxiety issues and imposter syndrome.

But it seems that every time there’s a micromanager boss they target me.

Others can blab, disappear or even nap openly without issue. But if I seemingly take too long in the bathroom or just happen to be taking my time doing something one day rather than rushing, it’s suddenly an issue.

And don’t even get me started on my call outs being scrutinized vs others.

Wanna shoutout this for H Pylori recovery

Instead of taking all this stuff separately I can just do this. Take on empty stomach when you won’t be eating for like 30min-1hr.

Ever since healing from my recovery my heartburn issues have been more intense. So this helps rebuild wall lining.

Has anyone experimented with a soft and/or liquid food diet for IBS (C) relief?

I feel like a lot of my issues stem from many food not being easy for my body to digest and causing slow downs. So I am considering doing a period of soups/stews and various soft foods (mashed potatoes, puddings etc.

I do take enzymes and they help but I don’t want to always take those.

Any thoughts?

Vagus Nerve? Headache, Nausea, Chills during BM

This morning my usual fiber supplement with water and immediately got hit with headache, nausea and chills.

It’s been coming in waves, easing up after doing a BM. Then the wave comes back and I go back to the toilet.

Is this normal?

Non-immediate young children at funerals… why.

Especially toddlers.

I hope the money you saved on a sitter or the inconvenience of walking outside was worth making everyone listen to screaming and babble while crying their eyes out over the deceased.

I really don’t like how my many people (especially parents) from culture encourages rowdy toddler behavior by laughing or teasing. Or doesn’t believe in removing themselves from a scene to calm them down.

Afterwards at the meal time a lot of attention was shifted to the toddler of course.

Im glad I won’t be able to get annoyed at this stuff at my own funeral lmao.
But I am definitely making my partners (heaven forbid) CF if am unfortunate enough to not go first.

Discomfort Under Left Rib

Anyone get this as a flare?

Last week I think I got mild food poisoning which led to a week of flaring and pooping with mucus.

I’m mostly good now but I feel the lasting effect is this discomfort. Especially after eating.

I don’t think it’s an organ thing because I don’t have fever or pain when touching it. It’s like a “full” feeling.

Ever have this symptom after a flare?
