Starting my first job. What's the best bank i should look for creating a salary account in. Does it matter?

If you see a very genuine looking post of someone saying they're giving a 1bhk (one room locked in a 2bhk) for rent in a very good location and rent. (But not suspiciously cheap) And then a day later say someone has already booked it, don't fall for it and pay an advance. The guys sound very genuine, don't talk like scammers, wouldn't even pressure you to pay or anything. I even offered to pay extra rent and he refused, thus winning confidence. Obviously I know not everyone is as stupid as me believing someone is out of town and so pays before visiting the flat, even I know to never pay before visiting but in the moment they create such a sense of urgency that you forget common sense. Well atleast I did. I've reported on cyber crime so they won't use the same phone no. and name I'm sure. They play the long con. Arrange a visit. Make it seem all legit and then hit you with the sorry someone else booked it card. I admit it was totally my fault, I got blinded by it being 2.5km from office and a good deal so go easy on the insults. I promise I've berated myself enough. Just making this post for awareness. I had seen posts for the visitation card scam so knew about that but this was a new one for me.

My sister just flew from Kolkata to guwahati, her checkin was said to be overweight at 17kgs (even though it was 16 when checked at home), ok she paid 2k in baggage fees. Now she's going from Guwahati to Lucknow. Didn't unpack that bag, just removed about 3-4kgs worth of stuff. The checkin counters states the bag is 20kg now. Wth? How can removing stuff increase the weight? And she went to multiple counters which all displayed vastly varying weight from 20+ kgs to 19kgs. They're also weighing cabin baggage which they never did before. I'm confused. This seems impossible and like a scam. They're still asking for 2k in baggage fees. What can we do here? Anyone who's been facing the same lately?

For the people who got hired through on campus placements back in nov/dec...did any of you get offer letters yet? The last activity was just a consent form signing on workday in Feb, total silence since then. Any idea of when they ll roll out. Even location is unsure rn.
