I am always impressed with how big are the spaceships y'all build. Just finished beating the game, and here are all 3 generations of ships I made. All 100% viable.

Best YT channel with challenges
I love challenge videos, especially Terraria ones. Like: can you beat terraria without mining? Can you beat terraria without weapons? Can you beat terraria with the copper sword? Can you beat terraria by one-shotting everything?
Is there a YouTuber that does similar Factorio (and also space age) challenges? I searched it and couldn't find anything that caught my interest, other than "can you beat Factorio without automation?"
Can someone help me with rail pass? It says 30% off, but after buying, I am getting only a £0.20 discount in one of the three trips.
For all of you that helped me, I did it!
In my last post, I asked for help to set up my base before leaving Nauvis.
I am happy to report that my base is now fully remote, with walls and turrets around the whole perimeter, and with bots able to repair and expand as necessary.
I actually went online, and was ready to run a command that would wipe all nests of the face of the Earth Nauvis, but I decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did, because it was fun as heck.
Thank you so much for your help.
Leaving Nauvis, no idea how to defend my base
Hey y'all, it's me again.
I am about to leave Nauvis for the first time. My starter base turned out to be huge, because I did not end up having decent patches of anything nearby. So far I was protecting my base by monitoring my pollution cloud, but for obvious reasons I cannot keep doing that.
Right now, I have no idea how to even start setting up a defence. Just by thinking about building double-layered walls and laser turrets around this monstrosity gives me a headache. We're talking about 5 hours minimum, which would absolutely not give me any joy.
What would you do in this position?
Best way to deal with creatures?
To add to the discussion, I played the game before the DLC, but I disabled creature aggression.
So now, I am starting a new playthrough, and I want to know how to deal with them.
Do I build walls and turrets?
Do I kill nests before they become a problem?
Do I just build an army of defending robots?
TIL in the source code, there is a variable called luck level, which was never used.
XP comparison after the rebalancing: data from lv 2700+
Just adding some data to the discussion: I like watching two different HL players (Veyllor, RP 3k, and Teus, MS 2750). Before the rebalancing, they were making 35k raw, whereas now they're both making 38k.
What has been the impact for lower levels?
What is this object, and how does it work?
I thought it needed 2 kears, but then it opened and I didn't lose them.
Why did CipSoft change the format of quests?
Quests back in the day used to be big server-size missions, requiring 50+ players to complete. Examples: POI, Inq, Yala, WOTE. Even smaller ones, like ice islands or Banuta ended with a challenge aimed at large groups.
Now, all quests are aimed at a team of maximum 5 players. In a few rare ocasions, up to 10 or 15, which is nowhere close to a minimum team to complete POI back in 2006.
Question is: why did they change the dynamics of quests, from open areas, to levers with a small player cap?
[Question] Are weekly tasks worth it for the XP only?
If all I care is experience, is it better to spend my time doing kill weekly tasks or hunting?
Also, does this change by level? For example, are kill tasks worth it at level 50 but not at level 800?
