Bad Hotel Operator goes rogue, discriminates against customer, then gets called out on the TV news. Is this typical?

Is this a common occurrence to look at a customer's zip code, tell them "we don't like it" then show them the door?
I get that zip codes are not a protected class when it comes to discrimination law suits, but I'm really curious about why such a hotel would implement such a policy?
For those that didn't watch the video, the affected individual got a room at another nearby property who did not have such a discriminatory practice.
Thoughts?

Steak boiled in ________ idea
Came across the YT short of NileRed drinking heavy water (deuterium oxide), and my first reaction was "Why doesn't Mr. S. go boil a steak in this stuff?"
Now granted, he shouldn't eat the whole steak, but a small bite should be harmless enough.

Why is it that the app only shows lunch/dinner items during breakfast hours? Went to go order a couple of chicken biscuits at 7am yesterday and it was nowhere to be found on the app. Ended up with a buffalo chicken sandwich for breakfast. Which, if I'm being honest, is still a great breakfast.
If they can't even get one simple thing like breakfast on the app right, where else are they cutting serious corners?
