The minis are for my 17 year old, can you guess our favorite scent?
Found in the toy section, I’ll be putting them on my trinket shelf!
Y’all, I think my soul left my body for a split second when I saw this! My local thrift store gets in tons of new, unopened products from various stores, I often find brands like Dove and Bath and Body Works and things from Walmart and Target but this my first Phlur! The young lady unpacking the box said the cap was cracked so they threw it out, but for $4 I’m not complaining. It smells delicious and I’m a total cheap ass so the price makes it even more amazing!
Happy Wednesday y’all ☺️
So many new body scrubs today!! Cotton candy, peach, lychee and strawberry!! Fingers crossed that they make body washes and lotions to go with these, I’d love that!! Also grabbed a couple blueberry masks, the peach spray and a couple claw clips because I broke one last week and my daughters steal my other ones 😂 Happy Tuesday!
Well, here are my June empties, I’d say it’s about 85% Dollar Tree. Tbh I really liked everything, either Dollar Tree is really good or I just have low standards 😂 If you have a question about anything please feel free to ask me, Ive reviewed most of these already so I’m not going to rehash all of that, but suffice to say I’d repurchase just about everything!
Well, I can’t believe it’s the end of June! These empties are from my 3 kids and me, I didn’t use all of this myself 😂 It’s summer so I’ve been showering 2x a day a lot of days, so I definitely used up more than usual! Sorry there’s so many pictures, they go face masks, bar soaps, hair care, face care, body care and then miscellaneous stuff.
Stand outs/Would repurchase- Luseta shampoo & conditioner samples, these were incredibly hydrating, I’ve actually never heard of the brand but once I use up more of my haircare products I’ll definitely be buying the full sized bottles. The Orchid moisturizing cream, extreme renewal cream and caffeine eye masks are all from Dollar Tree and I’ve already replaced them, these are staple products for me and I use them everyday, the extreme renewal cream is great all over my body and I’ve even used it on my 8 year old’s face, her skin is dry and it really dries out during the summer, it’s very gentle! The Duru bars of soap are amazing, they all have lovely clean scents, the only downside is that they don’t last long. If I use one everyday to wash my body the bar is gone in under 2 weeks, hence why I used so many this month. The EOS cashmere whipped oil body butter was probably my favorite lotion/body butter of all the ones I’ve used. It’s SO silky and smells so good I want to eat it. I’ve already replaced mine! The only negative is that it can leave you greasy if you use too much. I found out the hard way and was left with greasy sheets.
Good products/Stuff I didn’t hate but didn’t love- The Spathecary in-shower balms, they’re fun but kind of gimmicky, they do make me feel soft and smooth but by the time I was dried off after my shower my skin felt no different. The Cocokind oil to milk facial cleanser was nice but the smell was very off putting and artificial. I did repurchase it already but I had a code expiring and didn’t need anything else. The B Pure strawberry serum smelled really good but didn’t do anything outside of a little hydration, I’m not buying it again.
Thumbs down/Hate pan/Definitely not buying again- The oatmeal and verbena bar soap was awful, it dried me out and made me feel tight and itchy. The Olay 5 in 1 facial cleanser burned my face, I hated it and ended up using it to shave just to finish the tube. Definitely don’t recommend if you have sensitive skin. The Purlisse facial scrub is also a huge thumbs down, it burned my face and was very painful, i do have sensitive skin but usually I can tolerate scrubs if I’m not too rough with the scrubbing, but this one began to burn as soon as it touched my face, my skin really hated one of the ingredients. After using this once it took 5 or 6 days for my fave to feel normal again and I had to treat it with kid gloves.
Sheet/hand/clay/gel masks! Well it’s not secret that I love masks, of any kind, my 12 year old son and I do one every evening, it’s been part of our routine since he finished school. Sometimes my daughters join in as well, hence all the empties! Some of my favorites are the deep collagen mask, you have to leave it on for a minimum of 4 hours but it’s so worth it! My face felt so smooth and firm after using it, I can’t sleep with anything on my face like that so I use them in the afternoons. The Shea Moisture African black soap clarifying mud mask is also a fave, I’ve already ordered a full sized tub of it. I got 3 applications out of the one package. It was cool and soothing and really made my skin feel nice! The retinol sheet masks were also great, along with the Brazilian sol hand mask, I try to do one every weekend, the coconut and oatmeal masks are great too! Very gentle and hydrating! Also loved the hair masks, I used them as a stand in for conditioner and my hair felt amazing afterwards!
In my garage today. I was unpacking some old moving boxes from about 2 and a half years ago, this bubble bar is even older than that. I remember when I bought it was definitely wearing a face mask, so 2020-22 ish? No idea of the scent, it’s lost it’s smell. Such a shame, I never even got to use this one 🥲
They were both rescues, Louise is standard issue, Sushi has the colors of a Siamese, she’s even gotten really toasty over the years but we don’t know for sure. They’re best friends and cuddle like this often.
Whoever posted in here that the SDJ Brazilian Kiss lip balm was $10 I could hug you!! I immediately ordered that and the Vitamasques lip scrub and the Neutragena Hydro Boost balm, and some other random stuff I’ve been wanting. $56 for all!!
Mini mask haul, I’m loving these new jelly masks, they’re so fun! My 12 year old son and I do a sheet mask every night and he loves them too! Also grabbed the Strawberry Shortcake lip balms for my daughter, she loves Strawberry Shortcake!
Happy hump day y’all ☺️
Literally did a double take in Goodwill! Can’t wait to light this one, even though it’s almost too pretty to use!
Lots of minis and samples! Loved everything except the eye roller, that was just meh. The Cocokind facial cleanser was amazing, I’ve already ordered the full size.
Ok y’all, so the other day I found the Pro Silk blush prosecco and I also just so happen to have the EOS pink champagne lotion as well, so I thought it might be fun to do a little head to head comparison. This won’t be a full review of the EOS lotion because I didn’t buy it at Dollar Tree, but it will be a full review of the Pro Silk lotion.
So, first things first, the scent! The EOS pink champagne scent is actually my favorite scent of the EOS lotions, so I was pretty excited to see a dupe. Dollar Tree has some amazing dupes and I was hoping this one would be close, and it is! I would say that the Pro Silk lotion scent is the EOS lotion scent, just muted and turned down. It’s very close to the same one but not quite as bright and sharp. So, is it a good dupe? Yes! Is it the exact same? No.
Next up, the texture of the lotion. The Pro Silk lotion is surprisingly thick, I don’t think it’s quite as thick as the EOS one but it was way thicker than I remembered, since I haven’t used this kind of Pro Silk lotion since late last year. It absorbs nice and fast even though it’s thick, and the scent actually stuck to me for a little while, not as long as the EOS lotion but for a few hours. Comparison in photo 2, the Pro Silk lotion is on the left, EOS on the right.
So, the Pro Silk lotion says the moisturizing quality of the lotion lasts 24 hours, just like the EOS lotion, and I wanted to know whether that was true. So on Wednesday night after my shower I decided to use both lotions, the EOS lotion I applied to my legs and the Pro Silk lotion I used on my arms, chest and shoulders. Immediately after my shower and applying the lotion I felt soft all over, I couldn’t tell you whether my legs or my arms were softer. They both felt the exact same, both smelled great! The next morning, Thursday, I hadn’t applied any other lotions and I hadn’t reapplied the EOS or Pro Silk lotion and I still felt pretty soft all over, I think the EOS part of my body felt a bit softer, but it was hard to tell. And finally, Thursday evening, it’s been about 23 hours so not the full 24 hours, but I’m calling it close enough because I’m ready to shower, I really think the EOS part of my body feels slightly softer, but is it enough to make a huge difference? No. My final judgment is that both of these lotions largely perform the same. Honestly if it weren’t for the scent I wouldn’t be able to tell which was which.
Picture 3- Cashmere Body Butter Whipped Marshmallow- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ok y’all, I was super excited to find these, I’ve been looking for them for months and I was worried I’d never find them. Anyway, not only did I finally did find them but my store got a butt load of them. I got 2 of each scent, and don’t worry, there were plenty left! So this review will mostly focus around the marshmallow scent, I assumed it would be my favorite so I opened it first and I’ve used it a couple times, though not during the time period I was trying out the Pro Silk lotion! So, first, this whipped marshmallow lotion is not comparable to the EOS whipped oil butter. I have both and the Cashmere lotion is just that, a lotion. It is, however, a really good lotion. It’s very thick, probably the thickest body butter/lotion I’ve tried from DT. It’s very hydrating, I used this tonight after my shower and I feel very smooth and soft, this lotion is much better quality than some of the other DT lotions I’ve tried. As for the scent, well it doesn’t smell like toasted marshmallow to me, it actually smells close to the Vanilla Cashmere EOS scent. I was really hoping it would have a real marshmallow smell though. However, overall I’m more than satisfied with these body butters, they smell amazing and they’re so thick and hydrating, plus I mean, they’re $1.25, so they’re a great value! I definitely recommend all of these lotions, they’re awesome!
So that about sums it up, if you have any questions I missed please feel free to ask me! Happy Friday y’all!
So glad I went by my store today!! I finally found the cashmere body butters and so many other new products!! Amber Glow body scrubs, body wash, Splash eye cream, the EOS lotion dupe, hand creams, pink vanilla deodorant, new shaving cream, and a bunch of new masks!!
Hey y’all, I had a couple requests for a review on the super greens line so I used all of them this morning and wanted to write up my thoughts. I’ve only used each product once so this is just my first impression, I didn’t use any other product from my normal routine, I have sensitive skin that leans dry and rosacea that I’m still working on treating so it flares up sometimes. If there’s anything I didn’t include below please feel free to ask!
Super Greens Cleansing Wipes w/ kale & vitamin C- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I typically don’t use cleansing wipes just to wash my face but I like to keep a pack or two on hand for nights I’m feeling lazy, so of course I grabbed these. First of all, they have no added scent at all, they have a very faint chemical smell from the ingredients but nothing unpleasant! The actual wipe itself was very moist (sorry I hate that word) and didn’t feel dried out at all, it also felt like it cleaned my face very well. I cleaned my eyes and the wipe didn’t make them burn or irritate them, and it worked the same for my face. I have very sensitive skin and rosacea and my face didn’t flare up in any way! My face was soft afterwards and felt nice and clean, it wasn’t tight or uncomfortable at all. I really liked these wipes and I’ll definitely keep using them! I will say if you have on makeup I don’t think they’d be strong enough to remove all of it, but I still recommend these for a quick, lazy face wash.
Super Greens Whipped Facial Cleanser w/ matcha, spirulina & hyaluronic acid- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This facial cleanser was fun, although there was a bit of a learning curve to it. I waited about 30 minutes after using the face wipe to wash my face with the whipped cleanser. When I opened it it looked like a soft whipped cream in the tub, it smelled really nice, like a light, earthy scent, very pleasant. When I dig my fingers into the whipped cream though, it was hard and sort of crumbly. Have you ever had those meringue cookies that crumble? It was that texture! So it was a bit weird, I’m not sure whether it’s supposed to be like that or mine has dried out a bit. Anyway, when I started rubbing it into my skin it melted right away and it was very silky, I really like it! It doesn’t lather you at all and feels a bit oily, so I’m wondered if this cleanser would be considered an oil cleanser or not. Anyway, I really liked it a lot, my face felt very clean and hydrated, not hydrated like I moisturized but hydrated for a face wash. I’d definitely use this again, it was very gentle! Definitely recommend this one!
Super Greens Vitality Serum w/ spinach & hyaluronic acid- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I don’t use a lot of serums on a regular basis, this one is new to me, but I like it. It’s much thicker than other Dollar Tree serums I’ve used and it didn’t take much to cover my face. It also has a earthy smell like the other products, not unpleasant at all. Since serums take a while to show results I can’t say much about this one but it didn’t irritate my face at all and my skin felt soft and smooth when it dried. I would probably use this again.
Super Greens Brightening Eye Cream w/ kale & vitamin C- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I actually ended up really liking this eye cream! It doesn’t have any sparkles or shimmer to it, usually brightening eye creams have some shimmer in them. It’s thick for an eye cream! It’s very light green, again with a light earthy scent. I like that this eye cream is in a tube with a lip gloss type of applicator, it makes it easy to apply if you don’t want to use your fingers! It absorbs quickly and again I didn’t have any irritation, I like this eye cream a lot and think I’ll continue to use it regularly, right now I’m only using the retinol eye roller and have been wanting to add a cream. Definitely recommend this one!
Super Greens Glow Face Cream w/ kale & vitamin C- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really liked this moisturizer y’all! It’s very thick, almost hard to squeeze out of the tube, and again it’s pale green and has a very light scent, like everything else. It was much thicker than I expected which I really like because I feel like thicker creams are more hydrating. I’m not sure whether that’s true exactly but that’s just how I feel. It had a very silky feel to it while I was rubbing it in and it absorbed into my face fairly quickly! I really like this moisturizing cream, I’ll definitely use it again. It smells very nice and felt my face feeling very smooth!
All in all I like this skin care line, the serum is meh but everything else is great in my opinion! I only used these products this morning and a few hours later my skin feels hydrated and soft, with no more redness than I usually have either. I definitely recommend all of these, I might skip the serum but it does take a while to see results from serums so my opinion is probably premature.
So excited I finally found the super greens line, can’t wait to use it later! I’ll definitely be writing up a few new reviews ☺️ Also my store finally got my favorite cleansing balm back in, this stuff is legit y’all! Happy Friday!
Thrifted this pretty jewelry box for $7 and removed the tray inside so I can use it to store my current balm collection! My collection has grown so much recently and I blame y’all! Love the Vitamasques balms so much, the sugar cookie lip mask is my new fave, I’m going to buy 4 extras so I never run out!
I know they’ve been around for a while but I found the vanilla sugar scrub + body mist and the geranium rose spray and serum! Also grabbed some retinol rollers, more soap, some new hair clips, masks and Brazilian mist hand soaps! Happy Tuesday!
Hey y’all, it’s your favorite review lady and I’m back with more! To start I’m 41, normal/dry skin and normal/dry wavy hair. My entire routine for my hair, body and face is focused on hydration and aging gracefully, im not specifically treating anything. I wash my hair about every other day, sometimes more often now that it’s warm where I live. I apply skin + body care 2x a day and shower every night so every product listed has been used at least 3 times over a couple days, if not I’ve made sure to add how many times I used them. Some of the products pictured are brand new but I often buy 2 of something provided I’m sure I’ll enjoy it and there’s enough on the shelf, so I promise I’ve really used these. Products are listed in the same order they’re shown in the photos in case you’d like to skip ahead, a few might be a bit wonky due to how I had to lay out the products but it should be pretty easy to find what you’re looking for. This is a long one and if there’s anything I missed please feel free to ask me ☺️
Picture 1 ✨
The Spathecary Strawberry Peach body wash, body scrub, in shower balm and body mist- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a really exciting find for me, I’ve been seeing other folks in the sub find it and finally it was my turn! So, for starters, it smells really nice, I love this scent! It’s not super strongly scented, not quite like a B&BW product, but it is enough that you smell it while using it, the scent filled my shower! It’s also exactly as advertised, strawberry and peach. Every time I smell it I get either more strawberry or peach. The scrub is a really nice, gritty sugar scrub and it exfoliated me really well! The body wash is very lux, I really loved the quality! It lathered up like a dream, I had tons of thick bubbles which I really enjoy because it makes me feel like the product is working well. Next, the in-shower balm is really fun, though I’m not sure if it’s doing anything? I always apply it in the shower as my last step and rinse it off and by the time I’m drying off my skin feels normal, and I still always apply lotion but maybe I’m just already hydrated and, again, it’s fun to use so I’ll keep using it. Lastly, the body mist was, yet again, a let down. It smells so incredible y’all, but the scent only sticks to me for an hour, maybe two. I tried it out on my shirt + pants and my skin, neither lasted very long but it did stick to my clothes slightly longer than my body. All in all I’d absolutely recommend this line if you think you’ll like the scent, and I definitely do. Personally, knowing what I know now I’d skip the mist, I mean I bought it knowing it likely wouldn’t last but I wanted to write a full review for y’all, and I’ll use it because I don’t waste things but it’s honestly just ok, I’ve tested it a few times and it never lasts longer than 2 hours max. The mist and in shower balm are the reason this line doesn’t get a full 5 stars, the body wash + scrub are really lovely. If I’m being really nitpicky I wish the scrub was in a larger tub, but this size is par for the course with Dollar Tree, so I just bought 2 of them. I exfoliate probably 2 or 3 times a week so one of these scrubs will last me about 2 weeks!
Amber Glow hand + body lotions, sweet lemon, sun kissed citrus and aqua blue scents- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I just found these and my review may be a little premature but I don’t expect my opinions to change, I mean, it’s lotion, not a retinol serum where I’d expect results after a month of use, you can pretty much tell if a lotion works with just one use. So first things first, this body lotion itself is a great lotion. It’s very thick, like thick thick, which I love! It’s actually a little hard to squeeze out of the tube!! A little goes a long way with this one, I used small quarter sized blobs and warmed them up in my hands before applying to my legs and arms, and I didn’t have to use much at all, which is nice because I want these lotions to last me for a while. The scents are also great, like surprisingly good, I’d say very close to B&BW quality, for sure. I have quite a few B&BW body creams so I know the quality well, These lotions definitely smell higher end than you’d expect from a Dollar Tree lotion, they’re not cheap at all! The Aqua Blue ended up being my favorite, it’s so summery and fresh! It’s a kind of fruity scent, it really reminds me of the beach and summer time. The sun kissed citrus scent was good too, but not as good as the aqua or lemon scents! It’s very soft and subtle, actually I wish it was stronger! It was the faintest out of all 3 lotions. Even still the scent is lovely, it’s is very citrusy and fresh, it has a refreshing quality to it. This one didn’t last very long on my skin, it faded after an hour or so. Now, on to the lemon scent, and please note I repeat the phrase “lemon scent” like a million times so I’m sorry about that. Anyway, this lotion was the entire reason I bought these, I LOVE lemon scented anything and it’s so hard to find body care with a sharp, true lemon scent. Well, this lotion isn’t a perfect sharp lemon scent but it’s still really good and it definitely scratched my itch for a lemon scented lotion! In the tube it really didn’t smell like much, I was actually disappointed at first, but once it was on my skin it came to life! It’s a very soft lemon scent, not at all sharp, and it reminds me of lemon curd or maybe a lemon cupcake. The scent has a pastry/baked goods like quality to it, also maybe a hint of vanilla? It smells incredible and really gives me a strong summertime vibe. I’ve been layering it with the Spa Lux Tuscan Vanilla body mist and I smell so good y’all, huge summer vibes, even my 8 year old told me I smell good and she never notices that stuff 😂 All in all I love all 3 of these, I’m so glad I found them! I highly recommend these especially if you like the scents already, even if you blind buy them you really can’t go wrong! If I’m being super nit picky I wish the citrus scent was stronger, but sometimes it’s nice to be lightly scented, I have to realize that not everyone within a 2 miles radius wants to smell me! Anyway, y’all should definitely try these for yourself, they’re so worth the money, plus the size of the tube, almost 8oz, is crazy big for $1.25! If Amber Glow keeps coming out with scents like this I’ll definitely end up forgetting all about B&BW!
Spa-Scentials Pasta Amore under eye masks- ⭐️⭐️ This under eye mask was really fun y’all! They’re adorable and they really look like giant macaroni noodles (picture 5)! Now before I get into the review I have to let y’all know these masks have niacinimides in them, please don’t use them if your skin doesn’t like those! However I’m lucky and my skin seems to love niacinimides! Anyway, I really enjoyed these masks, they’re fun for just a one time self care deal. I didn’t see any results but honestly I wasn’t expecting to, these were just for fun. The shape was slightly uncomfortable and weird, the curve made it hard for the mask to sit properly under my eyes, they’re not really shaped to fit the under eye area perfectly, I ended up letting them curve up around to the outside corner of my eye. If I’m being really hard on these they’re not the best value, I understand they’re $1.25 and I’m definitely not complaining about the price but I consider the sheet masks a much better value than these eye masks, like, at least with a sheet mask you get lots of serum and hydration, plus you can squeeze out the rest of the serum for your body. Honestly I’ll still buy the under eye masks if I see a different style, but I wouldn’t repurchase the same ones, they’re really fun like I said, perfect for a self care afternoon at home by yourself, but if you’re on a budget skip these, I promise you’re not really missing anything! For that reason and the niacinimides, I can’t really recommend these, unless you really, really want to try them, of course.
Spa-Scentials Giddy Up Glow under eye masks- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ So again, I didn’t expect any results from this mask, I honestly just bought them because they were cute and even if they didn’t do anything its still fun to wear them. Anyway, I ended up liking these slightly more than the pasta ones, they were definitely more comfortable due to the shape and they fit under my eyes much better. I put these in my fridge for a couple hours before wearing and that was actually the best part. They were so cold and soothing, it was really relaxing especially because it was hot that day! Anyway, I’d recommend these if you want them just for a one off self care thing but again, if you’re on a budget I say skip ‘em. I probably wouldn’t buy these again but if they make any different shapes I’d definitely want to try those! If you buy these try putting them in the fridge first, it’s great especially if it’s a hot day!
Spa Luxury Brazilian Orchid exfoliating sugar scrub- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was so super excited to find this scrub, especially because I have the body butter already and I love when I have products in matching scents, it just makes me feel like I have my life together. Anyway I’m not sure if y’all will remember but I reviewed the body butter and wasn’t super impressed, so I didn’t have super high hopes for this scrub. I didn’t necessarily think the scrub was going to be a dud but after being a bit let down with the lotion (which was completely my own fault, btw) I didn’t want to get overly excited. Well, as it turns out I love this scrub! So, first impressions, honestly I was a little unhappy. Not because of the scrub itself but the container wasn’t filled up all the way. I know it only costs $1.25, I’m not complaining about the price, but you’d think they’d at least fill the little tub all the way up? Mine was about 2/3 full and that’s the only reason this scrub doesn’t have 5 stars, otherwise it’s definitely a 5 star product for me. Anyway, the scrub itself somehow smells even better than the body butter, its floral but in a fun, almost sexy way, it’s like a “sit on the beach” floral, not a “grandma wore this scent to church” scent. The texture is very thick, almost sticky? Not like it leaves my skin sticky but it sticks to itself, if that makes sense. A little goes a long way with this scrub, you don’t need much at all, which is great considering the containers aren’t filled up (yes I’m salty). I tend to use a lot of product but I didn’t need a huge handful with this one. It exfoliated me really well too, I used it on my legs before shaving, my shoulders, chest, arms and booty cheeks! It left me super smooth and I got a great shave, plus when I followed it up with the Orchid body butter I smelled so good! Honestly I think the scrub might have raised my opinion of the body butter! Highly recommend this one, I’d actually say grab a couple, I’ve bought 4 in total and none are completely filled up. I’m just guessing but I think I could get 3 full body applications out of one tub, so you might want to stock up.
B Pure Rosemary + Mint scalp and hair oil- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a new product for me, I’ve never used a scalp oil before but I grabbed this because I thought it would be fun to use when I do a hair mask and the scent matches the rosemary biotin water spray I’ve been using. Since this was my first time using a scalp oil please take my review with a grain of salt, I actually don’t know what I’m talking about with this one. Anyway, I’ve only used this scalp oil once and really enjoyed it, it’s very soothing. My scalp sometimes gets itchy and I haven’t had that happen since using this! Being completely honest I didn’t have any other results but I’m excited to keep using it. The scent is really nice, it’s very earthy. It smells a lot like the rosemary biotin water. When I used this I applied it to my scalp all over my head then added a hair mask and let everything sit before shampoo + conditioner. Once my hair was dry it looked really nice, it’s been 3 days without washing (don’t worry, I’m washing it tonight) and my scalp hasn’t been itchy at all! Definitely recommend this one, definitely try it if you tend to have an itchy or dry scalp, even if you don’t it’s still a fun product to try out. The tube is small but it didn’t take much for me so I’m guessing you could get 3-5 applications out of one tube!
Pro Silk Body Revitalizing Body Wash in ginger citrus- ⭐️ Y’all this one was such a disappointment! I’m going to keep this one short because the reason I hated it is very subjective, basically take everything I say here with a grain of salt, just because I hated this one doesn’t mean you will. To start, I love this brand and I’ve never disliked one of their scents before. Also, I really love the gigantic bottles of Pro Silk body wash because my two younger kids (8 and 12) use my shower every night, and my daughter is an over user of products and smaller bottles of body wash go fast, the big bottles last me about 4-5 months. I use the body wash as well, but mostly for my reviews, so they’re primarily for my kids because they last so long. I still recommend the other scents, especially if you have kids and just want a big, long lasting body wash. Anyway, the other night I couldn’t decide which scent to use so I decided to use the ginger citrus since it was new and I wanted to write up a review on it anyway. Well.. in short, I hated it. The scent is just really not good. It’s supposed to be ginger citrus and I definitely got a strong ginger scent but it also had a weird artificial plasticy scent to it. To be honest it was so bad I didn’t even finish washing my body with it, I rinsed off and used a different body wash. I can’t recommend this one because of the scent, but if you want to take a chance and try it for yourself don’t say I didn’t warn you! One star for this and I’m hoping my kids use it up quickly so I can replace it. Again, I still recommend Pro Silk body wash, just skip the ginger citrus scent, it’s bad!

V05 Extra Body Volumizing Shampoo + Conditioner- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I already knew this shampoo + conditioner was going to be good, I mean honestly I haven’t tried a V05 product I didn’t love, but this one is really great! It has a really nice scent, kind of aloe-y, fruity and very clean and fresh. The scent stuck to my hair throughout the night and next day too, which was really nice! The shampoo lathers up really thick, it felt really lux and my hair had that squeaky clean feel when I rinsed it out. The conditioner was really nice too, it was very thick, it didn’t feel watered down at all, I’m pretty sure it’s thicker than the other V05 conditioners I have. I’ve used this conditioner on it’s own and mixed it once with hair mayonnaise a couple times and love it either way. It’s very hydrating and leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I’m not sure if it added lots of extra body but my hair looked great after using it, it felt very smooth and I didn’t have any tangles! Highly recommend this one, it’s a great value, the scent lasts and it works really well!
Yardley Pretty & Pink Party Punch Nourishing Bath Bar- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ll try to keep review short and sweet, I know my reviews can run really long sometimes, I just like being really detailed. Anyway, this might be my new favorite bar of soap. I’ve used Yardley soaps for a while now and I have zero complaints. The soap always makes me feel clean and hydrated and one bar seems to last a good amount of time. My daughter loves these as well, she won’t use any other bar of soap because Yardley is so gentle on her eczema. The scent of this soap is great too, it’s definitely my favorite scent of all the Yardley soaps. It’s very fruity and fresh, it’s also pretty strong too, when I washed with only the soap I still smelled it later in the evening. It faded fairly quickly but I feel like it lasted a long time for a soap. I definitely recommend this one, it’s such a great scent and Yardley soaps are awesome anyway, I’d say they’re as good and hydrating as Dove bars if not better!
Power Stick Aluminum Free Deodorant Brazilian Mist scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ok yall, full disclosure, I only bought this deodorant because it’s my favorite scent. However, it works so well and I’m glad I bought it along with a back up stick. It smells amazing, of course, and the scent sticks to me really well. Every time I raise my arms I get a whiff of Brazilian Mist and normally I wouldn’t want to smell my deodorant all day long but this one is an exception! If you’re not a fan of smelling your deodorant all day you may want to skip this one, but I quite enjoy it. It’s aluminum free, which is great, but personally I usually need the aluminum! I’m a pretty sweaty person and it’s summertime here so I really didn’t expect this deodorant to work as well as it does. I wouldn’t say it completely stops the actual sweat but I definitely don’t stink while wearing it so I still call that a win. I typically use the 48 hour dry spray on my armpits + other sweaty places but I did go a couple days without the dry spray on my pits to make sure it works well and it still does! I definitely recommend this one if you want an aluminum free deodorant, if you’re a sweaty person like me you could always layer like I do! Either way, I say give this one a try! The scent alone makes this worth it!
Spa Luxury Hair + Body Mist in Tuscan Vanilla and Fiji Coconut scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I originally wasn’t going to buy these at all, y’all know I love Dollar Tree but my biggest issue with their mists seems to be that the scent only sticks for an hour or two, and I’ve literally tried just about every spray Dollar Tree has. I’ve tried the Spa Lux sprays in Love Struck and all of their new summer scents, the Power Stick mists in the cans and spray bottles and NONE of the scents really stick to my skin or clothes for very long, 3 hours max. Well, until now! So first things first, the Fiji Coconut scent is so lovely. I’m a sucker for coconut anyway, and this one really delivers. It’s a very soft, warm coconut, just a little sweet. It’s almost toasty, and very beachy, smelling it brings to mind waves, sunscreen, and sand. It doesn’t smell like sunscreen or sand but it’s so beachy that’s what I think of. Honestly I’d say it smells much more high end than $1.25 as well. I highly, highly recommend these mists, I can only vouch for the vanilla and coconut but I assume the rose and jasmine have similar staying power. I’d recommend the vanilla slightly less than the coconut, I’m a vanilla lover and have tons of vanilla scented products, but this one is a more boring, plain vanilla than some of my others. I still enjoy it but it’s on the floral and perfumey side, when I use it I use very little because it could easily get overpowering. Now, of course this might just be the way the scent reacts with my body chemistry, it may smell much better on someone else and it’s not even necessarily bad, it’s just not the exact vanilla I prefer. It’s great for layering though and I still recommend both of these. Definitely give them a try!
Power Serum body scrub + in shower body oil- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was really excited to find these, but disappointed that the body wash was all gone! I’ll have to keep searching for that, but in the meantime I really like the scrub + body oil. To start, the scrub is a great, gritty sugar scrub, it works very well and made me feel super exfoliated! The scent is also really nice and light, it’s very clean smelling, like a really nice feminine soap, it just smells kind of girly. The body oil is fun too, like the in shower balm, I’m not sure how hydrating it’s actually is but I enjoy using it, it’s a fun extra step in my shower routine. If I’m being hard on the body oil I wish it was bigger, I don’t think this size bottle will last me very long. I definitely recommend these though, they’re fun and I like that they have skin care ingredients instead of just cleaning or hydrating your skin. I wish I could have tried the body wash as well, I bet it smells amazing! I’ll have to keep looking for it, fingers crossed I find it!
Beauty Impressions Lip Plumping Juicy Glaze- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This gloss is really fun, I bought it because I hadn’t see it before and thought it would be cool to see whether it actually plumps your lips. Well, spoiler, it doesn’t. I’ve used many a plumping glosses and balms in my day and this one didn’t really do much of anything. To be 100% sure I cleaned my lip and applied a lot of the gloss, like a lot, it was very thick and sticky, of course I don’t recommend you doing that, I just wanted to try as much as possible to see if it would work. Anyway, after the really thick application I didn’t see any changes in my lips so I think it’s safe to say the gloss doesn’t actually plump your lips. The only other downside to this gloss is that, in my opinion, the applicator is very, very short. It felt a bit awkward for me to hold. However, I’d still recommend this gloss, it doesn’t actually plump your lips but it’s a really good gloss! It’s very pretty and shiny and it did have a slightly tingly cooling effect which was great! It also smells really nice, like candy! I don’t remember exactly what scent it is, sorry y’all I threw away the packaging! All in all it’s a nice gloss, it doesn’t plump but it feels really nice while wearing it! It would be a good gloss to leave in your car for emergency gloss situations!
GBC Body Scrub in Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Jade scents- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I’m obsessed with the gemstone line and I was super excited to find these! I hope eventually they’ll make matching body washes and lotions, although I’m happy with the Rose Quartz body milk, I’d love a legit lotion or body butter. First things first, I have tried all of these scrubs, but I feel like it’s only fair to tell y’all I’ve only tried them once and not on my entire body, I used a little of all 3 to get a feel for how the scrubs are but I haven’t used them over an extended amount of time. Honestly I don’t see my opinion changing, they’re body scrubs, they either exfoliate or they don’t, ya know? Well, these do exfoliate, very well. They are very scrubby and gritty which I love! I used all 3 to exfoliate my entire body, neck to toes and after my shower I felt SO smooth! Also the scents are great, very earthy and clean, and like I said I’m obsessed with the gemstone line and will buy anything with the name of a gem on it! The rose scent is very fresh and clean smell, it’s a floral but not overpowering, it really smells like a nice soap or maybe laundry detergent, but in a good way! Rose Quartz actually ended up being my favorite of the 3, but not by too much. I also love that it pairs with the Rose Quartz body milk, that’s one of my favorite lotions and they smell identical! The amethyst scent was my second favorite but only by a little! Amethyst is a warm, almost spicy soapy scent. It actually leans a little manly, but I don’t dislike that. It’s also very fresh and clean, it’s kind of invigorating, it woke me up when I smelled it. The jade is the least soapy of the scents, it’s very earthy and smells strongly. This scent stuck to me the longest. It also leans a bit on the manly side, I’d say it’s a good gender neutral scent and I could see anyone enjoying this scent. After using them all the rose quartz is still my favorite scent but all of these scents are great in their own way and I definitely recommend trying them out!

Natural Sense Rosemary Biotin Water- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This review is sort of tentative, I want to make it clear that I’ve only used this a couple times over the last week so I obviously have not seen many results yet, however from what I have seen I’ll excited to keep using this! I bought this spray because of the biotin, my hair seems to love biotin and reacts very well to it so this was a no brainer. This spray can be used as a mask, where you leave in on for 15 minutes and then rinse, it can be used as an overnight treatment, applied at night and rinsed in the morning, or as a leave in spray. I opted to use it as a leave in, mostly because I’m lazy and I knew I’d never rinse it out in the morning, but I also have used it as a quick mask when I used the rosemary scalp oil. This spray is really nice, it has a lovely earthy scent, it smells very strongly of rosemary which I really like. I can’t say whether the spray has actually done much for my hair yet but it’s very easy to apply and forget about so I’ll keep using it. So far it’s only been a week and I really like the way my hair feels after using it. It’s hard to explain but my hair just feels better all around. I’m not sure if I’d recommend it just because I haven’t seen tangible results so that part is up to you, I just know I really like the spray a lot!
Thera Plus Care Rough, Callused Skin Exfoliating Foot Mask- ⭐️ Well, I really hoped I’d like this mask but unfortunately it did nothing for my feet. Part of me just expected softer feet but part of me was really hoping the callused part of my feet would peel off, like those baby foot masks! But alas, this mask did neither. I put the socks on and left them for about an hour, they were comfortable, no pain or burning, maybe some tingling though. They are hard to walk with the booties on but if you wear thick socks over them it helps. Anyway I left them on for a while before washing my feet, then I applied lotion and socks for the rest of the night. Honestly I don’t think it made my feet softer or exfoliated than at all, my feet are exactly the same as before I did the mask. Every night before bed I put creamy vaseline lotion on my feet and sleep in socks so my feet were already pretty soft, I do have some calluses though, mostly my heels and big toe. Anyway, if you’re hoping to exfoliate away calluses I’d steer away from this one, like I said I really don’t think it did anything for my feet and I gave it a week to see if any of my skin would peel at all and nothing. Bummer but at least I only wasted $1.25. I’ve heard great things about the Spa-Scentials Renew gel so I’m planning to try that next!
GBC HydroGel Under Eye Pads retinol and vitamin C- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been using these under eye masks on and off since last fall and they’re really nice! Again, I don’t think I’ve seen any massive results but they’re relaxing and I love putting them in the fridge first. The retinol ones are my favorite but the vitamin C pads are nice too. I’m not sure if they have a lot of the active ingredients but like I said, they’re fun and relaxing! I actually do recommend these because you get 2 pairs for the price and they’re individually wrapped which is nice. I stocked up on these late last year so honestly I’m not sure whether they’re still in stores but if they are I’ll buy more because I’m down to 1 pack left. I will say that I’ve been using these weekly, the caffeine under eye masks daily and the retinol under eye cream consistently and my under eye area looks better than it did originally, it’s smoother and less puffy, so I must be doing something right.
Dermasil Soothing Face + Body Spray w/ aloe and lavender- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love this spray y’all! When they first hit my store this was the first one I tried because my face was in a flare up and I was trying to stick to soothing, calming products. I ended up loving it so much I’ve been using it every now and then since. I try to use it everyday and spray it generously on my face, shoulders and chest. It has a nice, earthy scent to it but it doesn’t last long. The spray is pretty strong, I really wish it was more of a mist but I’ve gotten used to it now. It really is very soothing on my face, whether my face is reacting to something it didn’t like (more on that later) or I’m having a rosacea flare it definitely helps calm it down. I highly recommend this one, especially for sensitive skin!
GBC Turmeric Face Milk- ⭐️ Ok, I know this is going to be controversial but I did not like this face milk, at all. I know, crazy right? I’ve never seen anyone say a negative word about it, which is why I bought it! Well, suffice to say my face hated it. I really don’t know why, I honestly thought my skin would love it. I had been using only the bare basics and focusing on hydration and healing my skin barrier and this was the first new product I added into my routine. My face burned a little bit all over and got very, very red, even down my neck. It didn’t feel like an allergic reaction and it’s getting better now but I can’t use it on my face. I tested it on my thigh and it was totally fine but I guess my face is just much more sensitive. Anyway, I’m actually not discouraging y’all from trying this face milk, everyone loves it so much I just wanted to offer a slightly different opinion. From now on I’ll be using it on my legs, hopefully that works!
Lusti Olive Oil Hair Mayonnaise- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Y’all this stuff is incredible! I bought it on a whim, I was in my local store and they didn’t have many new things so I was annoyed and just grabbed a couple things so my trip there wasn’t a total waste. Anyway, I’ve never tried this before and wasn’t sure what to expect but it paid off big time. I have very dry, very wavy hair. My top layer is mostly straight but underneath my hair has 2B or C waves. Anyway, I’ve been using this as a conditioner, either mixed with my regular conditioner or on its own and it’s amazing either way. It’s so hydrating! Also a little goes a very long way, I didn’t need much to cover my hair from my ears down to the ends. I try to let it sit on my hair for at least 5 minutes, ideally 10 minutes is best. My hair is so hydrated, so soft, no tangles and looks great! Highly recommend this one, it’s a great value for the price as well!
Happy Skin Healthy Skin Glow Queen Face & Body Spray, watermelon scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I’ve actually reviewed this body + face mist before but I stuck more to the scent and how much I liked it, and I still do but I wanted to update my review to reflect how much I like the spray as a skincare product. This spray has aloe and hyaluronic acid in it which I really like. I’ve been trying to work through some of my products because I have quite a few so I’ve been using this spray before applying lotion and I’ve fallen in love! I spray myself down fresh out of the shower and in the morning before I put my lotion on. My skin doesn’t feel super different but I’m very soft and smooth! I definitely recommend this one, I’m not sure if it’s still in stores but I do see if floating around this sub every now and then. The blue spray is also great I just don’t like the scent quite as much!
Spa Luxury Whipped Shave Cream Brazilian Sol- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ok y’all, I just found this yesterday so I’ve only used it once but I’m in love! I’m usually not a fan of shaving creams, I really prefer shave oils but I bought this solely for the scent and I’m so glad I did!! This shaving cream is so fun y’all! The dispenser part of the can is shaped like real whipped cream and it smells so good I literally wanted to eat it, I’m not kidding! The shaving cream itself is super thick, you really don’t even need much of it to cover your legs, I used a handful and it covered my entire leg, from my ankle all the way up! I had just shaved the night before so I didn’t even expect to get a great shave but I really wanted to try the shaving cream and I got a great, close shave anyway! I was really surprised! I did get a few very small nicks that don’t usually happen with my shave oils but that could be more of a problem on my part, not the shave cream. I definitely recommend this one, it’s so thick and luxurious and it smells incredible!!
Spa-Scentials Royal Treatment Hydro-Gel Lip & Eye Duo- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ These masks were really fun! I almost passed on them because I’ve used a similar set before (the be-leaf in yourself set) and hated the lip mask, it burned my face, but decided to give these a try. Since it’s summer and warm where I live I’ve been putting all of my eye masks in the fridge so I did that with these as well. These eye masks were much better, they get 5 stars, they were very soothing while wearing them, they made my under eye area feel so hydrated and I’ve been struggling with dryness in that area. They also depuffed that area a bit for me, I mostly attribute that to putting these masks in the fridge first, but I still liked it! The lip mask was just ok. It’s large but with the hole in the middle it really just sat around my mouth, not really on my lips, and my lips are a decent size, not huge but not super thin. Anyway, they didn’t plump my lips but the area did feel very hydrated! While wearing the mask I did feel every so slightly tingly which was also really nice. I didn’t have any burning or discomfort, no redness after the fact either. I definitely recommend these, put them in the fridge for some extra soothing and relaxation!
Goat Milk Hand + Body Cream (honey pictured but this review covers all 4 scents)- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ok y’all, I absolutely LOVE these hand creams. I’m a hand cream freak though, I literally have a candy dish of hand creams and lip balms on my coffee table, so I might be a tad biased. Anyway, I loved all of these hand creams except for the lavender scented one. For some reason it smells nice in the tube but on my hands it smelled like dirt. I think it just didn’t mix well with my body chemistry so that one’s been relegated to a foot cream! Anyway, all of the other scents are great, the shea butter is my favorite! I’ve been using them daily on my hands and feet and my hands are so soft! They don’t leave me feeling greasy at all and the cream absorbs fast! Highly recommend these, except for the lavender but it might work for someone else!

This is my current routine, I use the Dermasil cleansing oil in the morning and the balm + Orchid cleanser in the evening, along with a sheet mask almost everyday. I’m looking for a new eye cream so I’m open to suggestions! My under eye area is a little puffy and I’d like to smooth it out a bit. I’ve already used the retinol eye cream and liked it but I want to love my eye cream! Also if you know if any products I’d like based on my routine I’m all ears! Thanks y’all!
EOS balms and more Vitamasques scents! Also grabbed the whipped oil butter!
