For those who have shot both CCO sized guns in 9mm and 45, which do you prefer? Am I starting the plan for a custom CCO build and the first decision is caliber. All of my other 1911s are in 45, in fact I have not shot a 9mm. I’ve usually been a guy where if I get a gun in 9mm it’s a Glock or other polymer framed gun (except my M9).

I’ve seen a lot of pros and cons for both sides. I know I do want a steel frame because I want it a high blue. I am leaning to 9mm for the extra capacity and lower recoil in the smaller package.

TL/DR: Convince me NOT to do a 9mm CCO

For some background, I am learning to weld, so this would be my first machine. I am learning it for hobby use and for repair, so just using it at home. Currently only wired for 120V but looking to move soonish so hope to eventually have 240V.

I am looking at the harbor freight titanium unlimited 200 MP machine. I have a 25% off coupon that expires tomorrow that I was thinking of buying it with. Given the price I will now pay ($562 pre-tax), is it the right one to go with? Basically my budget is 560 you could say. I was eyeing the mig 140, but started thinking about down the line, buying tig later and having stick ability in a MP machine, that it might be better to “buy once” with this multiprocess. I realize it may not be a heavy duty shop machine but that’s not really what I need. It has good reviews in HF’s website, I guess what I’m really looking for are if there are huge reasons not to get this welder, I don’t really want to spend hundreds of dollars buying a machine that will either die in a year, or can do a little bit over everything but none of it well.

I stole a mushroom from my wife’s garden while we were messing around. It said it was worth 90k when I got to my garden. When I sold it, I got 49k.

I’ve been in multiple servers now where only one person picks up literally every single golden seed during the gold seed event. A full server and they were literally the only one to get EVERY seed. Am I missing something? Is there a trick to it?

I have always used my watch to send a text message to my wife when I leave work. Yesterday when I arrived at home my wife says why didn’t you tell me you were on your way home. I said I most certainly did. I told my watch to text you, I then looked at my phone and saw that there was no text. I just chalked it up to not saying it to my watch when it was listening or something like that. It happened again today. I then realized that something might be wrong so I tried to do it again. My wife’s name is Kori, sounds like Corey. I have never not once had this be a problem. I’ve used Siri and my watch this way for as long as I’ve had my watch. When I ask it to text my wife now, it says that it does not find a corey in my contact list. How the heck do I fix this? And does anybody know why this happened?

What was the plan for attaching a sling to these, or was there no provision? I’ve seen pics online of people who add homemade solutions and I’ve seen the retrofit kit with a QD button swivel, but what was the solution back in the day? No sling?
