[Hiring] Video Editor + Thumbnail Designer | ₹6,000/video

Hey everyone!

I have some extra budget and I’m thinking of starting my own YouTube channel. I’ll be making roughly 10-minute video essay/informative videos and need someone to help with:

- Video editing

- Thumbnails (a few options per video)

- Infographics/basic visuals

Budget is ₹6,000 per video.

If you’re interested, please DM me with some examples of your work.

Bonus points if you’re from the Aevy cohort. I’ve heard they teach editing really well.

Thanks!

Looking for a YouTube video editor

I'm looking for a video editor for a small YouTube project.

The idea is pretty simple:

\- You'd just need to edit the footage into a clean, watchable YouTube video. probably help me in writing a bit as well.

\- Probably around 1 video per month to start with.

\- Budget: ₹6,000/video.

Nothing too crazy or highly cinematic. Just looking for someone who can make the video look polished and engaging.

If you're interested, DM me with some examples of your work.

Which credit cards make sense if I earn well but don't spend much?

I'm looking to keep only 2 or 3 credit cards, nothing more.

My annual income is ₹60L, and my monthly take home is about ₹3.8 to ₹4L.

My monthly expenses are roughly:

* Rent: ₹25k

* Groceries + cook + maid: ~₹12k

* Fuel/transport: ~₹4k (I work from home and have an old bike)

* Coffee: ~₹10k

* Miscellaneous: ~₹10k

So in total, I spend around ₹60k per month and save roughly ₹3.2L every month.

Current cards -

Amazon icici, ill close this as well if theres something better.

note: since i dont have big spends. i dont not want a high fees card. so no infinia etc.

Given my spending pattern, what would you get?

offer from a early stage AI startup, should i join?

I'm trying to decide whether I should stay at my current company or join a very early stage startup.

Current role

- Software Engineer

- Fully remote

- Compensation: ₹62 LPA

- Company sponsors international team offsites/trips

- Work life balance isn't great, but it's manageable

New offer

- Very early stage AI startup (4 to 5 people)

- AI Engineer role

- ₹70 LPA + meaningful equity

- Hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week in Bangalore (I'm already based in Bangalore)

My biggest concern is that the startup hasn't raised its next funding round yet. They're saying it should happen within the next month, but nothing is finalized.

The cash compensation is fairly similar, so the decision mainly comes down to the upside from equity, the opportunity to work in AI, and the risk of joining a startup before funding is secured.

If you were in my position, would you make the switch, or would you wait until the funding is completed?

Would especially appreciate hearing from people who have joined very early stage startups.

Edit: YOE-5

Looking for My Dream Home in Bangalore (₹35k Budget)

Hi everyone! I'm looking for my next home in Bangalore and hoping someone here has recommendations.

I work fully remotely, so commuting isn't a concern. I'm looking for either:

* A premium 1 BHK, or

* A room in a really nice 3 BHK (or larger) apartment.

My budget is around ₹35k/month, and I'm okay with semi-furnished since I can buy my own furniture.

My priorities are:

* A gated society with excellent amenities

* High floor with a great view (I'm currently on the 23rd floor and absolutely love it)

* Good gym, swimming pool, badminton courts, clubhouse, and ideally a nice cafe/co-working space within the society

* Quiet, peaceful environment

I'd prefer South Bangalore, but location isn't a strict requirement since I work from home.

If you know of societies or listings that fit this description, I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Where to live if im working fully remote?

So my current job is complete remote and i dont plan to move back to my hometown.

Im thinking 1bhk/room in 3bhk+ in jayanagar and below. arekere/akshayanagara etc. since there is no metro construction there. in a really good society with A class amenities. I generally do a lot of gymming, swimming, badminton, cafe (wfh), socializing as well in my current society.

Is this a good plan? also recommend me some good places if so. Thanks!!
