How I felt earlier because I threw away my old hamster cage that was improper care

I was finally cleaning out my hamster cage after he passed (it’s been about a month) and I was gonna sell it along with his old cage but his old cage was improper so I just threw it away. Also I am selling the good cage. First off all because if I kept the cage it would just take up space and also I feel like I have a problem with throwing out/giving away old stuff from my childhood and I wanna get better about it.
I’m just happy I can get rid of a bad cage

I recently started trying to get over a porn addiction
And I want to talk to someone about it but I don’t want to talk to any direct family or friends because
I feel like it could get in the way of our relationship, and make it weird, should I ask my mom to get into therapy and should I talk to a therapist about it, Are they trustable? I just need advice from somebody who has more experience with something like this
