I made a ridiculously simple task time tracker

I couldn't find a single task tracker that didn't have 3 billion features so I put this together to preserve my sanity.

It outputs an ASCII formatted table into a text file. All it does is it tracks time spent and optionally keeps descriptions of the tasks.

If AI is so great, then why is anyone pushing its use?

Whenever great tech came out in the past - like computers or cars or phones - I don't think anyone spent any time trying to persuade and shove it down your throat. You wanted to use it yourself.

So why are devs being pushed to use AI? If it was that great, wouldn't they just want to use it?
