Visiting Kelowna and ended up driving up bear creek road. I had very bad anxiety and it felt sooo eerie! Was it camping land before? Lots of campfire ban signs and no trespassing signs but couldn’t make out what it was supposed to be with all the burnt trees:(
I searched the road up after and saw in the news that someone was found deceased in their car the other day there. Maybe that’s where my anxiety came from !
Hey everyone I’m going to be moving from Banff to Kelowna due to the housing crisis out here. Has anyone done this specific change and really enjoyed it? I think Kelowna always been so great to visit but not sure how a day to day would look like.
Is Kelowna cost of living comparable to Banff? Or more expensive? I work as a care aid and find that I’m borderlining living pay check to pay check here but I’m also spending some money on experiences.
Is it as easy to make friends there? Thanks in advance !
I’m an absolute reality tv fiend lol and I love some messy tv. I would honestly love to see her on any dating show and watch it all go to shit so quickly, but mostly I’d love to see how she acts in a social setting. Not just with the musty guy she’s with at the time on social media but around like actual attractive men and women.
If not then maybe a series on Netflix’s trainwreck.
So I bought a ring off a reputable seller on Etsy, long story short they told me it would be 2-3 weeks from day of order. I wanted to check in at the 1-1.5 weeks mark since I’m excited for the ring and also paid a good amount of money so thought I could be part of the process.
They said that they were about to cast the ring and they had just been waiting for the stone ( implied that the stone has arrived) . Sure no problem. I check in a week later and see how it’s going and they said they are still waiting on the stone ( thought it already arrived??)
Essentially I was told before that it should be shipped by may 22 but now I’m really anxious that it’s not even been made and I’m only going to keep getting delayed. The seller hasn’t been responding to my last couple messages about whether the stone has actually arrived yet either , although the were fast in response at the beginning.
Is there anything I can do so that this it’s delayed for more weeks or months? We are trying to plan around this engagement but it’s hard to when we don’t know when it will arrive !

It’s a cement block that is typically anchored into the ground with steel bars.
The email was sent by the property manager in regard to a stain in the cement that is clearly old wear and tear but is being listed as an oil stain (which our car is not leaking), they’ve asked us to clean this stain up and flip the cement bar back over.
Surely this isn’t a tenant job and the building should have some sort of maintenance team that takes care of their grounds? Am I really responsible to be handling all this?

I ordered an engagement ring from sapheena but I’m getting anxious it’s not going to be here on time. Can anyone who’s bought off her give me your timeline from order to actually receiving the ring?

It looks like Canadalife may cover wegovy through a pre authorization form filled by your doctor but I’m curious if anyone’s gotten their Felix health doctor to fill one out? I used Felix for mental health but it’s solely chat based so I’m not sure how difficult it would be to get them to fill out a form.
I’ve suddenly started struggling with seborrheic dermatitis in the last few months after 25 years of pretty much perfectly healthy skin. It’s definitely taken a huge toll on my mental health and I can’t seem to pin point what’s triggered it but I recently went down to Mexico and my skin instantly cleared and was so soft and hydrated. Now that we are back in the Canadian Rockies my face has become hard and scaly and flaking.
I really wish I could find a solution here that doesn’t involve me moving to Mexico.
