I’m so broke. I don’t have a penny to my name. So, I made a post in a subreddit asking how to get a sugar daddy. A person commented that people would not have respect for me

I was confused by the person’s comment so I looked up the definition of sugar daddy. Turns out that a sugar daddy/sugar baby relationship involves sex in exchange for money. I’m 24 and I’m only now learning this. I feel so stupid and naïve. I thought it involved a man financially helping out someone he likes spending time with. My online friends have sent me money when I urgently needed money. I thought a sugar daddy/sugar baby relationship was like that. I paid my online friends back unless they told me I shouldn’t pay them back

I received a letter from a debt collector regarding my unpaid phone bill. I initially had a 12 month phone contract but that contract ended months ago

Up until 2 months ago, I continued to pay the same monthly price after the contract ended and my phone service continued. When I stopped paying, my phone service stopped. I had no idea that I was under a credit agreement, so the letter is surprising to me

I’m worried this will harm my ability to take out credit in the future. I’d like to buy a house within the next 5 years. Will the unpaid phone bill go on my credit report? Is my credit report ruined?

I swear I will pay you back with interest. We can agree on the amount of interest

Edit: I can also accept payment through Apple Cash on iMessage. I will pay you back the full amount borrowed and interest by the 15th of August 2026. I need the money for a deposit to secure housing. I can verify that all of what I say is genuine.

Edit 2: I made a miscalculation. The difference between the rental deposit and the amount in my bank account is €578, not €650. The amount I’m requesting is €578

What is the average cost of utilities for a single person in a 1 bedroom apartment and for each tenant of a 3 or 4 bedroom house share?

My brother got a cat. It’s the first time an animal has been in our house. The cat spends most of her time in his bedroom. The cat’s litter box is in the bathroom that is connected to his bedroom. He leaves the bathroom door open for the cat to have access to the litter box. He cleans the litter box every day but his bedroom and the bathroom stink. Does every pet owner have a smelly house?

The description in the ad makes it seem like it’s a regular bedroom renting setup but I’m raising my eyebrows because the bedroom is listed for well below market rate and is open only to females

I made a post yesterday asking where to house a cat. Last night, my mother attempted to put the cat outside (i.e. make the cat a stray) and I opposed. My brother opposed too but he gets to stay because he didn’t insult her in the process like I did. My mother is kicking me out of the house. She wants me gone asap

I’m unemployed. I don’t receive social welfare. I have no income. I know I should apply for social welfare but homelessness complicates the application. I’m under 25, so my mother’s finances will be considered if I live under her roof. Her finances won’t be considered if I live independently. I think an address is needed to get social welfare but I could be wrong

I was neglected as a child. I wasn’t taught about dental hygiene. I learned about dental hygiene through first hand experience of having extensive tooth decay

My teeth are discoloured because my dentin is exposed, so I don’t expect whitening treatments to yield my desired results. Composite bonding is the least invasisve way to fix the discolouration

However, I’m concerned about decay developing at the margins. I don’t want to lose my teeth especially my front teeth

Do you separate colors? It appears that all dyes are colorfast these days. If you don’t separate colors, do you use a color catcher?

I prefer to wash items in a way that avoids cross contamination e.g. washing kitchen hand towels with kitchen cloths. I would never wash body towels with kitchen hand towels

I can’t figure out what to wash socks and bras with. I sometimes wash socks on their own but I can’t do it all the time because it’s wasteful. However, it feels unhygenic to wash socks with underwear

I was recently offered an interview for a deli assistant and stocker job at Centra. In my CV, I said I worked at Aldi and O’Briens Café. I actually have no retail or café experience

Should I keep up the lie in the job interview?

Edit: I know my chances of getting the job are higher if I waffle about the fake work experience, however I’m terrible at waffling. I’m not able to recover when I’m put on the spot in interviews. So, I’m inclined to either tell the manager that I lied, or bring a genuine copy of my CV and act as if I never put down that work experience in my CV in the first place

My washing machine has a delicate setting and a hand wash setting. I wonder if the hand wash setting can fully replace hand washing. Please share your experiences with the hand wash setting on your washing machine

I’ve never had headlice before. No one in my family has. I possibly know people who have had headlice before. If I do, I was unaware that they had headlice at the time they had them. I’ve never seen headlice before

His suggestion that I talk to her made me question whether people usually develop their social network by befriending their friends’ friends. I’ve always thought that people with social networks met the people in their social network on their own instead of through people already in their social network
