Javier Bardem/Max Cady style

Been watching this show, and loving the way he dresses as Max Cady throughout. Not entirely sure it’s something I can generally pull off, but I’d like to try. Anyone watching, what kind of style is that? Any suggestions on where to get similar style clothing, without it costing too too much? Thanks!

So I've been playing Destiny 2 and...

there were waaay more chips in the bag back then compared to now. It's literally night and day.

I feel like I've stepped into a massive sci-fi universe and I'm genuinely overwhelmed with all the things that are available for me to do. Some of these cutscenes go hard, like Blizzards animations for WoW, and I've already got some favourite characters too (Cayde-6 😭). I'm aware of how bungie treated the game in the recent years, but even then I can feel the love and passion oozing out of it.

I genuinely loved playing Marathon in season 1, season 2 I'm slowly disengaging. But hopping back in after playing a few hours of Destiny 2, I dunno man the game feels like a huge step backwards, like it feels hella stripped down. If I didn't already know both games were from Bungie, I would have assumed Marathon was made by a small indie company.

I'm starting to understand a lot more now...

My dad found some of my old cards!

My son and I got into collecting about a year ago. Around the same time, I reached out to my dad and asked if he could keep an eye around his house for my old cards. He looked and looked but never found them. No big deal.

Then, out of the blue, he sends me a video last week of a ziplock bag full of cards! Several hundred of them! He got them in a box and sent them to me, and I got them today. My son and I started going through them, and this is what we found. All of them are shadowless base set, with the exception of one first edition Machamp (I must’ve traded a friend for that). They’re also in WILDLY good condition (one of the gyrados has some scratching, tiny bits of whitening, etc). Much better than I could’ve ever expected. In the photos, some of the “scratches” are just dog hair floating around. I have a husky, it’s practically impossible to not have hair on anything brought into my place.

I’m almost positive I have some more (I remember having a Blastoise and Venusaur for sure, at least one of each), in a binder. He’s going to keep looking, but this was so exciting!

Steak, provolone, caramelized onion on a roll

Had some vacuum sealed steaks in my freezer labeled “sirloin tips” that a buddy gave me. Thawed them out and marinated them in Worcestershire sauce for several hours. Spent a few hours caramelizing some onions, and whipped up a dijon mustard/garlic aioli sauce. Took the steaks out of the marinade and realized they were folded over themselves and REALLY thin. Put it all on a hoagie roll, in oven, and added some chimichurri. Turned out amazing.
