i haven’t shown off this space much over the years (third eye / crown chakra room of my rainbow house) but i am finally loving it and sharing!

i couldn’t really find a used TV stand that i liked enough to put in here so i finally got this beautiful new one from Sikaic. i love its mid century rattan detailing that gives it a vintage vibe and it makes my Roku soundbar thing sound even better lol. it really inspired me to do some more finishing touches — so i hung some more art, more drapes, and three more light sources — and boom!! the magic really came together.

the floor couch is from Daneey, it’s cute but not supportive, rugs from Rugs.com and everything else i thrifted or salvaged from going to the trash — except for some odds and ends i got on amazon. i really want one of those big morrocan couches in a conversation pit but this is my budget makeshift version 🙃

it only took me 6 years of layering and rearranging but i finally went from ignoring this space to never wanting to leave it!!

seriously obsessed with the combination of mistflower, goldenrod, aster and dog fennel. (sorry i can barely remember my own name let alone the scientific ones for plants)

also discovered THREE new volunteers!!! a grass, a bush, and a sedge oh my!! so cute 🥰

of course i have spent thousands of dollars attempting to convert my front yard into a native fairytale paradise, just for the side yard that did this all on its own to be my favorite area.

jk obviously — nature knows best. 😍😍 i am obsessed. always buzzing with tons of bumble bees. 🐝

if anyone happens to recognize this grass, please let me know what it is. it’s totally taking over and giving the aggressive mist flower a run for its money.

just having some fun taking photos around the house this evening!

wallpapering the ceiling a few days ago inspired me to do more, more, more!

do i need to put a third one across the top?

I also hung this absolutely majestic sea unicorn king painting that i got from the THRIFT STORE FOR $6!!!!! it looked kinda out of place colorwise so i obviously had to add the drapery to tie it in.

now if i could finish painting that poor peacock.

COMPLETELY INFATUATED. sometimes i just sit in my corner chair and stare at it. it’s so calming for me despite the purposeful, highly stimulating color.

i was halfway through failing miserably at a “temporary, easy” camouflage over the paint that was chipping off the ceiling — third pic. 😭😩😂

so i just fixed it more properly.
i averaged less than one strip per hour lol
my back feels broken
but it’s done!!!!

made it on the home decorating CJ sub again but the jokes were so uninspired and disappointing. 😩 i’ll be the first in line to laugh at myself IF ITS FUNNY!

one good thing is someone did give me this absolutely aesthetic nana to vibe with so i couldn’t resist adding myself into the fun!!! 😂😂

she brought over some of her ✨ signature tea and brownies ✨

i kinda enjoy the simplicity of it but also — NEED MOOREEE

it’s so precious. i would likely never purchase a white variety just being so color obsessed, but somehow i’m so excited to have gotten one from chance. i cannot wait for the other 20+ to bloom!!

obsessed!! “lady o’war” by jessye abell.

a beautiful addition to my ocean-y nook!!

now i can’t decide where to hang this headless diva in my own place (pictured.)

i want to go back & get photos of her place if she lets me.

“lady o’war” by jessye abell (her website is currently down — boo)

okay so i never thought i’d be copying a josh n mama recipe but i did it yaaaa’llll cause it just makes sense for once and it was really good lol — although i did season the meat first and my oil was hot. ate them fresh last night & made sandwiches today.

i wouldn’t specifically waste another half tub of ice cream again, but i would add sugar to my breading now 😭😂

it’s a good thing to know in case you ever accidentally melt a container to room temp.

all you do is dip in the melted ice cream, then bread crumbs, then fry.

used jiffy + a can creamed corn.

can’t believe i never thought of this before 😩 i had to get creative with this brisket after it’s been in the fridge for days and this came to me after a bowl.

slaw is lemon poppy seed.

still love them both 😩💜

dry cured some norwegian salmon & smoked it all in just about 4 hours & made kjøttkaker in the downtime 🤤🤤

went to to burn one between courses. lots of food from different cuisines matched perfectly; it was an absolute stoner’s paradise for mixing all the flavors and textures.

really made me yearn for simpler times of smoking meats while smoking plants… and drinking fermented berries.

only been here a few days
and already has all the names. 🧡

tomago aka lil omelette aka egg head aka spicy churro aka gerald

it kinda ugly but delicious lol

i added 2 bananas to the milk mixture.

and then doctored up the box pudding with cream cheese, condensed milk, cool whip, and extra vanilla and used that as the topping.

it’s soo decadent!!
