First own apartment at 22
Moved in about 7 months and I am happy for now
[23] not your typical male living space
Fully embracing the chaos of living in a 300€/month flat with two roommates in Germany
My bedroom (20yo) ~8 months after moving.
My bedroom as it stands right now, the whole desk/working area has a lot more to be worked on but due to our storage unit being gone I need to sort out a lot of stuff which I don’t have to space for yet (mostly decoration and clothing)
(Original room(s) layout was 3 separate rooms, we turned it into one big L shape in the end for more space)
Update on our place 10 months on, we (finally!) completed our art wall :)
cleanin/chillin-cant wait to paint & get curtains!
What do we think? Anything I can do differently?
I feel like I need more plants to make it feel more homey yk?
Favorite corner of my bedroom
Moved back in with my parents last month …in my 30s. I thought it would be weird but it’s actually been pretty great. Bedroom is half the size, but I actually like it because now it looks like the cozy jungle it was always meant to be.
Edit to add: lol just noticed my box of tampons lurking in the bottom corner😂
The waiting room at my psychiatrist's office
working on my guest room
Almost finished with my dramatic burgundy guest-room and I'm so happy with it so far. This is my first time owning an apartment and it has been so fun to get to paint, wallpaper and really invest in my space with the knowledge I won't have to deal with unexpected rent increases forcing a move. Would love any suggestions for the room! I definitely need a plant and some throw pillows.
A Dark Contemporary Apartment with Warm Wood and City Views
A contemporary apartment designed around a dark, refined material palette, combining matte black cabinetry, warm wood, stone, and carefully layered lighting.
The deep tones create a moody atmosphere, while the large windows bring in natural light and open the living space toward the city. Warm timber niches and soft accent lighting add contrast and keep the interior from feeling overly cold.
I particularly like the balance between the dark architectural shell and the warmer, more tactile elements throughout the space.
Would you choose a dark interior like this for an apartment with a city view?
I went to an estate sale and bought this beautiful light but I spent $1200 on it. Am I crazy or is this once in a lifetime find?
Lamp Love
This is a photo of a unique lamp I saw in a restaurant. A photo definitely saves me a very wordy description. ☺️
