Why is Gemini Air lease required for Hulu/Disney+ Promo?
My building recently got Verizon Fios installed and I always wanted to have fiber internet since I was a kid so of course my wife and I switched from Spectrum. But the Fios TV service was WAY overpriced. So I was looking for an alternative. A family member has DTV stream so I was willing to try it.
I signed up for the Choice plan so I could still get MSG (Let’s go Rangers). In the sign up process it said that Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ are all included. I thought that was a nice perk as I had Hulu and Disney+ included with Spectrum. But after trying to look for an activation link of sorts, I found out that a Gemini Air lease is required. Why is that? Is there any way of avoiding it and still getting Hulu and Disney+?
