The $400M budget rumor was fake news—Xbox got Kojima's Physint for a discount.

Budget Rumors Debunked: Xbox CEO Asha Sharma confirmed to The New York Times that Xbox is spending "substantially below" what it typically costs to make a AAA game. This debunks the viral rumors of a $400 million price tag and corroborates reports from Jason Schreier and Jez Corden that Xbox paid a small fraction of that.

TV & Film Rights Included: The Xbox deal officially gives Microsoft adaptation rights for potential Physint movies and shows.

Why Sony Dropped It: Sony backed out after months of budget disputes, missed development milestones, and low commercial expectations (given Death Stranding's performance).

Current Status: Kojima claims it’s his highest-selling potential concept yet. Development continues with direct Xbox tech support, though a PS5 release remains unconfirmed and a game engine switch from Decima is possible.

Krazy with a K

I was riding this 2 different Grab drivers in day going in my day to day work and task, and while riding and talking with each of the driver, i notice that we have desame topic its all about the current state of our nation. They can't shake it that everytime they vote for someone that they think that is good for the country, ended up na parang nasisisi sila that they vote then they always switch up and saying that "sana binoto ko nalang si gsnito" and also "sa susunod si anon nalang talaga".

For me, these is one of the reason why people is getting Krazy now in ph coz i think they starting to doubt of what they did and what has happen from their decision.

Don't get me wrong but i dont vote for the longest time, that's why maybe i dont have this kind of thoughts about who i did vote or something, i mean i can see and i know that every leaders has their own plots, its just that we from middle to lower class have no choice but to "salo" whatever the above throwing at us. I can see that the systme is rigged i mean it was rigged a very very long time ago.

Can we all agree that Ph is becoming worse than ever as the day goes by? The flood, the mining, the solutions that weren't asked, questions and concerns that never answers but always twisted instead, and corruption is becoming norms and no jail time for anyone about it (not in a longshot) even if they have they come back and get re-elected..

Why did i exist?

My parents never raise me, they just send us foster after foster to our relatives because my big guess was they never want to raise us on there own. Yes food and needed is always there like school things and other stuff, but were growing up without ideology, we dont see happy family, we dont even feel it, our relatives keep saying bad things that don't nourish our mind and even we discovered our own talent my aunt keep saying bad things about it, so basically talents or even skills doesnt skill up because of negative feedbacks, no push or even motivation or even a slightest care and empathy of whats happening to us as a kid.

Imagine having no parents on your side when things get ugly or you cant understand things, the only way for me to coup is to stay silent and fix it on ur own as a kid.

Now that im adult, i things turn upside down i dont talk, to anyone, not even asking for help, i cant even call someone if in having a bad day or just catching up.. im even crying typing this out, honestly i dont know what yo do insanity is eating me

PS: btw my parents are still alive but when you ask or need them, just like talking to brickwall

Photomode on DS is different

Honestly, what makes Death Stranding’s Photo Mode hit different is that it’s not just about making Sam look cool. The game’s whole world is so quiet, weird, and beautiful that even just walking through the mountains or standing in the rain can make a screenshot feel cinematic. It makes you wanna stop playing for a second and just take in the world.

And then you get moments like this , Sam standing in the rain, surrounded by the BT, with the whole landscape feeling like it’s frozen in time. It’s eerie, surreal, and somehow beautiful at the same time. You’re not just taking a screenshot; you’re capturing a moment that feels like it belongs in a movie.

Kojima is so cool that even on his photo mode the game is still optimized and giving you same results and effects from the game that really blur the line from photo and real time game.

More of this and I'm betting next Kojima san games will more immersive and breathtaking like this previous series, waiting for your screen title OD and physint soon.

"Toxic Filipino Family Culture: Am I a bad child for refusing to be my parents' retirement plan while my relatives look down on me?"

Am I a bad child for refusing to be my parents' retirement plan while my relatives look down on me?

I (26F) need to vent because the guilt-tripping from my family is getting out of hand, and I know many of you can relate.

Ever since I graduated and landed a corporate job, my parents have expected me to hand over a significant chunk of my salary. They didn’t save a single centavo for retirement, and the unwritten rule was always: "Nakatapos ka na, ikaw naman bumuhay sa amin" (You’ve graduated, now it's your turn to support us). I love my parents, but I barely make enough to save for my own future, let alone shoulder the expenses of an entire household. When I tried to open a conversation about setting boundaries and budgeting, I was immediately hit with the ultimate weapon: Utang na loob (debt of gratitude). They called me selfish, ungrateful, and "walang utang na loob" just for wanting to build my own emergency fund.

To make things worse, our extended family makes every single reunion or gathering a living hell.

Instead of being a happy get-together, it feels like a toxic evaluation board. Last Christmas, my Tita openly compared me to my cousin who works abroad, saying, "Mabuti pa si Mark, naipagawa na ng bahay ang mga magulang niya. Ikaw, kailan ka ba mag-aabot ng malaki?" (Good for Mark, he already built a house for his parents. When will you give something big?). The negative feedback is relentless. If I wear something nice or buy myself a small treat, they make passive-aggressive comments like, "May pera ka sa luho pero sa magulang mo nagdadamot ka." (You have money for luxury but you're stingy with your parents).

The worst part is the backstabbing. The moment I walk away to get food, I can hear them whispering. My mom even joins them, complaining to her sisters about how "difficult" I am. They talk behind my back, twisting my words to make it look like I’m abandoning my family, when in reality, I’m just trying to break the cycle of generational poverty.

I’m exhausted. Why is it that in Filipino culture, children are treated like investment policies? Why do relatives feel entitled to dictate how we spend our hard-earned money, only to tear us down the moment we don't live up to their financial expectations?

Am I really the bad guy here for choosing my financial survival over toxic family expectations?
