Spotted this custom meterbox wandering around and just wondering what sort of specs/materials would be needed to replace a regular pre-made meterbox with something like this?

Or could you go the route of having a smaller/skinny metal one inside and the outer one can just be for aesthetics - if a meterbox is enclosed are there issues/considerations?

The reason for this design (I presume - I am not the owner of that place) being the terraces have that arch shape inlaid in the brickwork, so this nicely hides what is usually an out of place square box jutting out of the side. Making a feature out of a necessary bit of your building.
