Does anyone know if max armor skill still leaves you with 95% spell effectiveness?

Cause i know they changed some things, but im unsure about having max skill in one of the armor skills, the original capped at 95% effectiveness, but foes the remaster? Honestly i assume so but im not 100% sure.

Edit: removed welkynd stone price point cause i just realized that wasn't from the base game, my bad.

Wanting help with a greedy orc merchant build, not trying to min max.

The basic idea is that personality and strength would be the primary attributes with a focus on both plus either endurance, intelligence and willpower.

Using illusion magic to make the enemies attack each other and conjuration to summon man servents to fight for me, the goal of each combat is to strip everything off of anyone i fight and sell it at the highest price i can and use a fine blunt instrument when i have to exert myself.

Magic focused.

Major skills will be Speechcraft, Mercantile, blunt, illusion, alteration, conjuration and athletics.

Now this seems all fine and dandy but i've come to realize that even after alk my time with oblivion i actually do not understand the leveling system, now i do know that the game punshes you for nonsense like power leveling or efficient leveling or something similar.

First off im unsure how long this character will survive, i assume that given all the money i'll be getting i can take advantage of the amount expensive but powerful gear in the imperial city, but hiven he has no armor skill i assume ill be running around in fine clothing abd thus make myself squishier.

things like attribute gain im still unsure about, i know that the game has a specific number of skill ups in a given attribute catagory to get extra points in that attribute, i think its 1, 5, 10 right?

But what about the attributes you don't choose? Do you still get one point in those? Or no? My goal is to at least get a +3 in the attributes ill be using, so strength, endurance, personality, willpower and intelligence.

I'm most likely not going to focus on personality for too long since the skill point amount in mercantile and speech craft matter FAR more then the attribute, but given he's all about making connections and selling stuff and getting ad much gold as possible i wanted to make that one of primary attributes.

Given what i said, will i have problems with this class in the later levels? Early levels are easy for everyone.

trying to make an explosives & big guns build, is there essentially two builds for this game? one for energy weapons and one for regular guns?

as the title says, im trying to make a explosives and big guns build, but im seeing that NV has combined big guns into both guns and energy weapons, im coming from making a fallout 3 with this build combination and wanting to see if it works better or worse here.

but since appears to be split into two builds, im wondering what you should do for both, say you want to focus on energy weapons for the big guns and explosives, would you mostly use the grenade launcher or thump thump and then using something like the gatling laser or whatever new energy weapons they added? is there an energy weapon equivalent to the missile launcher?

what about skills? cause Fo3 had every big gun exclusively get their damage and accuracy from the big guns skill, and since explosives also came from perception the obvious backup was energy weapons.

here its a bit different, i assume the backup weapon is based on what type of big guns and explosives you want to use, with the ones from the guns skill being easier to get (i assume)

i've always used ether small guns in my playthroughs of FO3, is using the missile launcher and fat man only for a heavy weapons build and not die all the time possible?

Edit: oops forgot to finish after the "either" so i will, its either small guns or energy weapons, never used heavy weapons before.

its been years since i played so i don't remember a lot, other then the mods i liked to use, however im wanting to use as little mods as possible this time.
So in light of that i know that a heavy gun builds with the minigun is viable and i also know this game isn't that hard when it comes to fighting.

But can you reliably just use the fat man for outdoor fights and the missile launcher for closer fights? maybe add the grenades and landmines for good messure.

I want to know if i can just have a build thats about using all kinds of explosives and when i can start using that, cause i know i'll use the minigun until i can find a missile launcher and the fat-man is always a guarantee at galaxy new radio.

but do i have to wait until level 10 while building up my heavy weapons skill? is the missile launcher pointless? i was seeing people saying that when i was looking up builds for it.

bit of an old pull, but does anyone know of game that plays like the mini game in Might & magic: day of the destroyer that you could find in taverns?

i forget the specific name of it, but you and your opponnent had a tower you needed to defend, you both had cards that you could use to attack or defend with, building up the tower, destroying parts of the enemy tower, having trade off's or different effects.

the game only let you play once per tavern and i have always wondered if someone made a game with similar gameplay, but more to it since its the only focus

edit: its called Acromage and its a fast paced stratagy game

Weird question, but for people who decided to preorder raiders on amazon, how do you know you are getting the physical edition?

Cause im trying to do that and not only does the physical version say price hidden, but the digital version is 50$ but when i have the physical version highlight and add it to cart, the price is also 50$

So how can you guys tell? I don't want to be dupped into getting a code in a box.

Regardless of who won, good game people!

I actually had fun with this one, perhaps its because i stayed out of tricolor?

Regardless i did find that i work so much better with long range weapons, not snipers but just something that lets me stay away from close combat.

Heres to Raiders being a grand time!

Arora R16, slight rattling coming from inside the tower, unsure where inside though

its like something is being hit by one of the fans but looking inside while its running doesn't show anything, sometimes the rattling stops but then it picks back up again, it sounds like its coming from the bottom but in unsure how to check that, other then seeing the fans on the graphics card which aren't running (which i assume that's fine given I'm not trying to run an intense game right now) so I'm unsure what to do, i check the top fans and the back fans, I'd upload a video but for unknown reasons i can't, seems to be on reddit's servers side so what can you do you know?

anyway i could use some help here cause i don't want to ship this through the mail to get this fixed and have repair costs when it sounds like something simple.

Does anyone know of a good method for cleaning the bumpers of a switch 2 pro controller?

I've been trying to find info online for it but all i've found is either stuff about stick drift, breakdowns of the controller itself or how to clean the switch 1 pro controller or other systems controllers.

Even if they look the same i doubt they have the same internals so im at a bit of a loss here.

I've tried 70% alcohol cleaner on a microfiber, rubing that into what crevices i can ro the best of my ability (microfiber is a bit thick on the edges) and then pressing the button a bunch for a minute.

I've tried using the cardboard corner of forzen meal box, both dry and with a drop of that alcohol cleaner, temporarily fixed the problem.

I would just unscrew it and clean the individual piece but its seamlessly sealed so i can't, not without accidentally breaking it and i DO NOT want to just buy another since thats 90$ and then is just sticky from a drop of soda getting in.

If i stop using it for a bit it goes sticky again but when i use it for a bit it warms up i guess and stops being do sticky, its irritating.

decided to get Classic a try and no one is eating or drinking or using bathrooms

to start off, im someone who grew up with zoo tycoon asnd not rollercoaster tycoon so im probably crossing some knowledge wires here that shouldn't be crossed.

im unsure if the map i chose matters, i simply chose the first map on the park area list, a forest area park, right now i have 4 attractions, marry-go-round, haunted house, chocolate log and road works i also have one mechanic and handyman.

im use to needing to make facilities available right away, food, drinks and bathrooms, however non of the people are using them, i read that it takes some time for the guests to start needing to use these places, but when? should i delete them until people start getting mad they aren't there? im starting to think that hiring that handyman was a bad idea since there isn't any trash or nothing to clean up.

i do wish i could look at those pop ups again without restarting

edit: alright so it was just a matter of time, not use to how things work in this game, not i just need to figure out why people are vandalizing my stuff, thats the biggest complaint, next park im going to make paths two tiles wide, see if that works, only complaints i can see is that its too crowded.

Does anyone know of/is making an immersive sim that fully focuses on wizard life?

Wizard life is what i've been calling the idea of wizard focused gameplay thata more then casting spells or doing alchemy.

Things like studying arcane tomes to gain both experience and understanding how spells are made, researching constellation and how they can boost different schools of magic and their effects on rituals, studying artifacts and magic items to learn how they are enchanted, studying magical beasts and how they relate to a school of magic.

Essentially a wizard life sim that goes full boar into how you gain spells and power rather then you just leveling up and buying the spells.

I've tried finding a games like that but the best i can do is using mods for simple games like skyrim.

Was hoping anyone heard of a gane like that OR if there's an indie gane i haven't heard of thata doing that.

how will the wizard life be in this game?

so for awhile now, I've been looking for a game that essentially is a wizard simulator, spells for combat and trying to convince people with charm spells are fine and all, but i want to delve into reading old tomes to find arcane secrets they hold, to have a magic house that i can go to in order to gather my barring's, brew potions for other magical stuff, bombs, buffs, finding stuff etc.

essentially every non combat old school fantasy trope, astrology, alchemy, regular wand waving, familiars, researching artifacts and practicing spells.

then going on an adventure with a party and being the magic expert of the group.

so far there isn't anything like that on the market, usually just an aspect of that in other games.

so i have to wonder what aspects will this game use? i know that spells will be quite powerful and unique but how much of a "wizard life" game would i be able to paly this as?
