Nocfree & Finally Arrived

Finally received it after waiting half a year since it was a Kickstarter project! It's the Nocfree & ANSI layout with low‑profile switches.

I was really nervous because this is my first split keyboard, and the wait felt endless, but it was worth it!

The silent switches sound so nice, and the keycaps feel great, there’s this subtle matte texture. I love the blue color, it's a bit darker than the Sky Blue on my Mac, and the aluminum body gives it a really premium feel. It supports Bluetooth, wired, and 2.4G three modes. I can connect up to three devices (I only have a Mac and an iPad, so haven’t tried the third yet). Everything is super smooth. Overall, I'm really satisfied!

Anyone else wasting more time finding GRE study resources than actually studying?

I swear every time I search best GRE study plan I end up opening like 20 Reddit threads and 15 YouTube videos instead of doing practice questions.

One person says focus only on vocab. Another says vocab barely matters now. Then someone says only take mock tests. Then someone else says build fundamentals first.

My GRE study setup is literally just random bookmarks and confusion at this point lol.

What finally helped you simplify your GRE study routine?

Looking for a strong product customizer shopify that handles complex options smoothly

Shopify store for personalised items is growing fast and with Mothers Day around the corner I need a better product customizer shopify solution. The current apps I’m using hit limits quickly when customers want lots of variations and the experience doesn’t feel premium. I’ve researched quite a few and the pricing is all over the map. Most don’t export clean files either. Anyone here found a reliable product customizer shopify that handles complex customisation well without slowing everything down?

Looking for entryway shoe storage that's actually functional but doesn't look like an eyesore?

Hi everyone! There are 3 of us in our house and we’re a strictly "shoes off at the door" family. I’ve been really struggling to figure out a good way to organize all the shoes as soon as we walk in.

I’m looking for something that's tidy and aesthetic, but also doesn’t take up half the hallway. I'm just tired of seeing a pile of shoes every time I come home. What do your entryway setups look like? Any recommendations or photos would be super helpful! Thanks so much!

I can't understand Chinese dish names. How do you order safely in China?

I’m currently in a small restaurant in Changsha and I am staring at a menu . One dish is called ma yi shang shu (Ants Climbing a Tree) and another is Lion’s Head. I know for a fact I don't want to eat ants or lions, but I also have a severe peanut allergy and a very low tolerance for spice.

I’m honestly terrified of accidentally ordering a plate of organ meats or something that will set my mouth on fire. How do you guys navigate this ? I feel like even translation apps struggle with these names. Has anyone else ended up with something completely different than what they thought they were ordering?

Recent tattoo and starting sessions, timing concern

Got a tattoo two weeks ago. Still healing. Starting hyperbaric sessions next month. Should the wait be longer before starting or is two weeks enough healing time?

Tracking my clean beauty packaging waste for a month, what I found was genuinely uncomfortable

Started writing down every empty or single-use packaging item from my beauty routine for 30 days. Thought I was doing reasonably well but I was not.

The biggest categories: cotton rounds (switched to reusable after this), face cleanser packaging when I actually counted monthly usage, and single-use samples from orders I didn't ask for and didn't want.

The thing that surprised me most was that several products I associated with "clean beauty" because of their ingredients were in non-recyclable mixed material packaging I'd never actually looked at. The ingredient list and the packaging are completely separate evaluations and I'd only ever been doing one of them.

Still stuck on lip products specifically. The clean lip gloss options I've found consistently have the worst packaging-to-product ratio in my routine. Tiny amounts of product in complex plastic applicators that can't be recycled through any standard program.

Is the Max Ultimate tier actually worth $25 a month?

My bill just hit and I’m reeling from the jump. They’ve locked 4K, Dolby Vision, and four concurrent streams behind that top price point. I love my HBO prestige shows like House of the Dragon, but twenty-five bucks for a single app feels like the old cable days. Is the visual jump from the $18 tier noticeable enough to stay, or should I just save the cash?

anyone else struggling with job apps lately

not sure if its just me but applying for jobs lately feels way more complicated than it should be. you spend hours filling forms, tweaking cvs, writing cover letters… and then either get ghosted or rejected with no feedback. its honestly exhausting tbh. ive been trying out a few tools and platforms recently just to make things easier and came across one that tries to simplify the process a bit (more focused on matching job seekers and employers without all the friction). still testing it out but it got me thinking, why is job hunting still this stressfull in 2026?

First Time Trying a Sim Racing Setup… and I Nearly Lost Control on Lap 1

Went over to a friend’s place and he had a full sim racing rig set up.

Tried a few laps and honestly wasn’t ready for how intense it felt. Struggled to keep the car under control from the first lap 😂

Almost got thrown off a couple times.

Looking for a high-coverage BB cream that won't melt off in humidity.

I live in a super humid climate and standard foundations just slide right off my chin. I want a BB cream that evens out my skin tone but stays put.

Mother’s Day gift for my mom

My mom has been sleeping with the ring for a few days now.

I think I picked a slightly small size, luckily it stretches so she wears it on her index finger now and says it feels comfortable.

I bought it mainly for blood pressure and heart rate tracking. She never liked wearing smartwatches. So far the data looks pretty reliable to us, if I had one suggestion, it would be adding a family sharing feature.

The ring also looks really nice, honestly it fits her style better than I expected.

Overall I think this was a very successful gift.

Is the physical feeling of being full actually the main reason GLP-1s work, or is it mostly a mental shift?

I keep reading how these shots make you forget food exists or completely wipe out your appetite. That has not been the case for me at all since starting Semaglutide. I still get hungry and my appetite is definitely still around.

The main difference is the mental obsession is just gone. I do not feel that weird panic or urgency when it is time to eat anymore. My brain is not constantly spiraling over what my next meal is going to be. For me, getting rid of that constant background anxiety around eating is a much bigger deal than just forcing myself to eat smaller portions.

What do distributors usually look for in a game platform before working with it?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking into different online game platforms from a distributor/operator point of view, and I’m curious how others evaluate whether a platform is actually worth working with.

A lot of platforms seem to promote similar things: many game titles, daily events, bonus systems, easy backend management, and different revenue models. But from a business side, I feel the real question is not just “how many games does it have,” but whether it can keep users active over time and whether the operation is stable enough for long-term use.

For example, some platforms focus on:

• A large game library

• Daily reward or bonus systems

• Slot-style and fish-style games

• Custom branding or customized versions

• Backend tools for agents

• Regular game updates

• Support for different promotion models

From your experience, what matters most when choosing a platform?

Is it game variety, player retention, backend stability, agent rate, support response speed, or the ability to customize the platform?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have worked with digital game platforms, distributors, or agent-based models. What are the red flags you usually check before getting involved?

Looking for a full-service landscaping company on the Eastside, not just a mow and blow crew

We've been in our Bellevue place for about a year and the yard needs real work, not just maintenance. Beds are overgrown, the lawn has bare patches, there's a side yard that's basically unusable, and we want to eventually add a small patio and some lighting. I'd rather hire one landscaping company that can do the design, the install, and then keep it maintained after, instead of juggling three different people. Who are people actually using on the Eastside for something like this?

[Discussion] Measuring AI citation rates when most citations don't generate clicks

Methodological question: how do you estimate the citation rate of a piece of content by AI tools when only a small fraction of citations result in clicks (the only measurable event)?

I'm using referral traffic data from Zen Reports + GA4 as a lower-bound proxy for AI citation. But the click-through rate from AI answers probably varies massively by query intent, AI tool, and content type. Without impression data (which AI platforms don't expose), the estimate seems very uncertain. Has anyone published work on estimating this ratio? Or is there a creative methodology I'm not thinking of?

Unpopular opinion: We are getting scammed by "natural" hair oils ☕

Hear me out. We scrutinize the macros in our food, but have you actually looked at the back of your favorite "natural" hair oil bottle?

I recently did a cabinet clean-out and realized almost everything I owned was 80% mineral oil or liquid paraffin with like... a drop of actual extract. It’s wild.

If you're struggling with frizz or hair fall, check your labels. I recently switched to Soulflower specifically because of this. They have an ECOCERT certification (which is ridiculously hard to fake) and they actually own the farm the ingredients come from. Their Rosemary essential oil is pure, potent, and doesn't have that synthetic perfume smell.

Start treating your hair care care like your diet. Stop putting junk on your scalp! What’s an ingredient you absolutely avoid now?

Personal space

I’m currently in a subway station in Beijing and I’m struggling.I’m from a country where we keep a 2-foot bubble around us at all times. Here, people are practically leaning on me in line, and if there’s a 2-inch gap in front of me, someone will step into it. I know it’s not meant to be rude, but I feel like my fight or flight is constantly triggered. How do you guys adjust to the sheer density of people?
