Vacuum bags, totes, etc..

I am needing to store most of my stuff in totes, not sure where the totes will be. I am doing this in hopes when i escape a not ideal situation, ill have atleast some of my belongings left.

Will vacuum bags actually make it so that I have less totes?
If i put dryer sheets in the bags, will that help with the smell?
Also, my area is a very humid area, what can i do to make sure that doesnt affect my belongings?

Set up suggestions - futon or something else?

I plan to set up a corner that I can make content in but Im not sure what to use as a “bed”.
When i lived alone, my “stage” was my cali king bed, i would sit or lay on it to do whatever I wanted to do but could also stand up, with the bed in the back.

What would yall suggest?

Medicaid Direct - NC - Trillium

I have medicaid direct and trillium is on the card, im not sure how long I will have it, so I am trying to use it while possible.
I am in need of new glasses, I had an eye exam thru my work insurance last year. (Which I no longer have and I would of only been able to get new frames at the time of that exam)

How do I go about getting new glasses? I have current numbers for my vision.

Im in the Greensboro area if that helps.

I prefer places that have a cooler summer, i am 40, female, hoping to be able to save enough money to get out of an less than ideal situation, i am great with customers, have leadership skills, i have a car but not a passport, id prefer to take my car instead of leaving it but i can do without it.

While earning money/working is number 1, I would like to be somewhere thats pretty/new experience. Ive never been out of NC my entire life and would love to change that.
