Here's a 30 second clip of us opening for The Toasters at The Pour House in Raleigh not too long ago. We're dropping the full studio track of The Ascent this Friday!
Looking for some like-minded folks to make a little music. I play guitar, sing; play mandolin ,bass & harmonica tolerably well and figured putting a playlist together of songs I know and/or dig woilf be insightful . Buck Owens, Hank Snow, Kitty Wells, Woody Guthrie, Roger Miller, etc, etc.
I want to ease back I to this and take it easy and NOT take things too seriously. Would prefer to stay around the counties of Wake/Durham/Chatham/Orange

Much bigger than any coyote I've seen here in North Carolina Piedmont region. It goes offscreen, then reappears a second later in this video.
My dog stirred up a nice looking rat snake. We skedaddled after the photo. (Piedmont North Carolina)
Oh to have the energy and joy of youth!
Two different species that were side-by side
I went all in, as a child being raised in a strong fundamentalist christian cult. I read the bible through, read passages to myself every night and really believed in the being a church member for most of my life. I've considered deconstruction therapy but a friend advised against it. So now at 62 (f) I'm still trying to get over the CRAP but it's hard when close family and most of the town I live in are overtly christian. I get angry when so many businesses in town display bibles and play christian music. The cult is so pervasive. I really want advice on how to be at peace with living with it all.
