What are the new job interviews/skills check in this era?

Been at my job since 2020 and now I'm finally trying to move.

All of us (even my friends outside the company) been on AI auto-pilot since 2024.

Basically not a single line of code since 2023.

How has the job searching market adapted to this? Are we still doing things like Leet Code and non-AI coding assessments? What about what's on the resume, do we now full on admit we're 100% AI? What kind of work is expected from us? What kind of projects attract the eye now that everything is AI?

Character movement bug makes the game unplayable (PS5). Any fix?

I just bought the game and I can't solve this issue.

I'll try to explain it as best as I can:

When I move my analog upwards or downwards, my character move left and right.

When I move my analog left and right, my character moves upwards and downwards.

It's like inverted but side-ways if that makes sense.

What I tried:

- Changed the control style

- Tried 2 other controllers

- Deleted the game and re-installed it

Any help?

Environmental storytelling games like Elden Ring, so the focus is the gameplay?

I realized I'm no longer able to get into or be invested in new stories.

I was playing Horizon Dawn and I liked the gameplay but I just couldn't with the quests and dialogues, not because they're bad, but because I'm just tired of it all.

Anytime there's a story/dialogue building up, I just feel like quitting the game.

I just do not care and not want to be made to care about it.

I realized that Elden Ring is my perfect game because the gameplay itself, the way YOU interact open world itself makes the storytelling, I'm not overly forced into a linear path.

I myself went to look up the lore on Youtube myself afterwards and enjoyed it.

I can just explore, play and things just add up eventually.

Bring back the real Evelyn with the real invisible

This is the most disappointing for me.

She was my main before she was reworked in 2012, was the most fun I ever had in League.

Good quality wired flat-head earbuds?

My 10 years old wired earbuds got cut by accident and I'm trying to replace them.

I'm feeling a bit fancy I guess and I'm ready to invest in some quality ones, as opposed to the $10 ones I always used to buy (including the one that just got cut). Let's go for maybe $50 ones or something (I don't know the market prices to be honest) but just higher tier essentially.

My only 3 requirements are:

  1. Wired
  2. Flat-head (like iPod earbuds), not those cylinders that go deep into your ear-canal
  3. 3.5mm jack

P.S.

I'm not a music enthusiast or producer or anything, just a regular guy who games, watches videos and goes into meetings. I just thought it'd be nice to maybe have an upgrade in sound quality that I'd be able to enjoy, without going into insanely specific music enthusiast stuff.

Thank you

Can I know what's the point of pre-ordering a digital game 5 months in advance?

I genuinely don't understand what's the point and why it's announced like it's a big opening: "you can now pre-order GTA 6!".

What does it change if you buy it now or 1 day before the release or on the day of the release?

It's all digital anyway..it's not like you're waiting or reserving anything physic

Can we simulate training leading up to matches in Career Mode in UFC 6?

I only ever played UFC 3 & 4

I quit career mode at some point because I was genuinely bored out of having to do every training leading up to a fight in order to get my fitness up to the correct level

I still don't understand why we can't just simulate it

Does UFC 6 have that feature?

Why is the Canon PIXMA TS6520 listed as a "Laser Printer" if it takes Ink Cartridges?

On Staples it's listed as a "Laser Printer", but I always thought Laser Printers don't use ink, or was I wrong this whole time?

I'm so bummed, it was a perfectly nice looking printer and had the features I wanted, but I'm scared of buying it because it clearly takes ink cartridges even if it's listed as "Laser Printer".

Just got my first retro handeld (Anbernic RG-353PS) and I'm not sure where to start

What I did was look up every system the handheld can handle emulating (ex: Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Game Boy, Sega, Neo Geo, PS1, Dreamcast, MAME/FBA/FBNeo, etc.).

I listed a bunch of games and now I don't know if the out-of-the-box setup is good for what I need or not, or what I'm missing out on.

I think it's running RetoArch.

I don't know if I should go for another frontend, or if I should setup something specific on my machine or not, or let's say I want to play online with Netplay for N64 multiplayer stuff, etc. etc.

I just don't know what to look for.

Anyone else feels the game is short or feels "small"?

Forza Horizon 6: best Forza game ever, it's an amazing 9/10 for me.

However there's thing weird feeling I'm getting that I didn't get in the past Forza's, especially Forza 4.

The game feels "empty", like I don't feel there's actually people around me, or I feel like I'm in a very contained map or something.

I have trouble explaining it, but I feel like in Forza 4 I always felt like there were drivers everywhere and there was a lively community and stuff.

In this Forza, I feel alone in the map and like I'm in some box or something.

I don't know, just wondering if anyone else feels that.

I can't find any official statement anywhere.

If it's a 8 players server, is the game scaled to 8 players regardless of if there's 1 person or 3 person currently connected?

Or does the world scale up every time someone connects?

I want to build a house in the sky. I tried putting pillars and stuff but the system doesn't seem to be really good at it or intuitive.
