Don't we have the technology to basically lay down an oxygen-rich air pipeline to the top of Everest?

It's 2026.

I feel like it is possible to just put a pipe that gives out oxygen rich air all the way to the top.

With all the sherpas that people employ, why not just make it one more step easier and lay down this pipe?

It would save more lives.

Why are there always cows on Tithal Road when there is a cow shelter on Tithal Road itself?

Shouldn't the cows be kept inside the shelter for their own safety and for safety of drivers on Tithal Road?

The entire Tithal Road is filled with cow dung and cows. Cars have to go zig zag to avoid the cows. Unnecessary nuisance. Sometimes, the cows also get touched by vehicles. Not safe for the cow or the vehicle, especially 2 wheelers.

Have modern transatlantic crossings tried to go over the exact spot Titanic sank?

By modern, I mean over the last few decades.... Whatever's left of the transatlantic ocean liners.

Did they try to purposely go over the spot she sank? And if so, did they announce it, like how sometimes flight pilots tell you what you can see below?

Add on question:

If you were on a modern day crossing and they did go over the spot and announced it, would you be delighted or upset?

When will our lives stop being endangered by preventable disasters??

What's with the sudden awakening among so many people at the same time??

Except maybe Diya Mirza, Aditi Rao, and Sonu Sood.

These dates and times are easily verifiable by anyone. I did it. So can you. (Before these posts are taken down for some reason).

I hope everyone sees this list to know if there is some correlation.

Disclaimer:

Remember, Instagram doesn't readily display time of posting for posts older than 24 hours. And some people raised their voices via 'Stories' which tend to disappear. In that case, I have relied on news articles about their posts to approximate the date and time. But that's only for a few celebs. All others I personally checked on their Instagram and Twitter.

What do you feel about a man going on a hunger strike to drive change in this country?

Yes, I'm talking about Sonam Wangchuk.

What's your views on what is currently transpiring in the country?

A very well known, and generally well respected man, has to choose drastic measures to deliver a message.

Just want to know your general views on this.

I'm not necessarily asking for your political stance. This is more about the act of going on a fast to drive home a message.

Would you send condolence message to your spouse's friend, who you aren't super close to?

Feeling conflicted whether I should send condolences to spouse's friend. We are not close, they just visit once a month for dinner/drinks. Met them like 8 times in total, we never really clicked super well, just the usual amount that should happen between you and your spouse's friend.

After their recent loss, I'm deciding whether to send condolences. They did mention their loved ones' condition in front of me once, not necessarily talking to me. And then the unfortunate happened.

I know I am no one in this person's life... just a spouse of their friend's who is also not a very old-time friend. Their friendship is about 1 year old. But they are close-ish.

I'm a stay-in-your-lane kind of person. I don't overdo anything. I don't overhelp or overly show concern. I am very mindful of what place I hold in someone's life before I act or say certain things. Hence the dilemma.

I know there's no harm to me in sending a text, but given that I am an overthinker, here I am :)

Bachpan mein, everyone was hormonal as kids and everyone would overdo everything. But as we grow up, we are more measured in how we act and show emotions. Or at least my silly mind thinks so.

Anyways, what would you do?

Does anyone else feel like there are wayy too many tree falling incidents this year?

Or is it just that this year, we are seeing more reports of it.

I have seen sooo many videos of trees falling this year, unlike previous years. Or am I mistaken?

Do these many trees fall every year? Or have the babus not bothered to take preventive measures this year?

Help me with you perspective.

Thanks!

Project free dhaniya for life

How's it going friends?

I'm just bored at home on a rainy day so decided to do something productive. As you can see, I have quite the taste . . . Minus the finesse.

Between jobs, nearing broke-ness, broken from all the uncertainty, alone for a few weeks, and unsure where life is headed. On top of that, wife left me and went to her parents place for a long time to hang out with them.

It's such a beautiful day but I can't quite enjoy it due to above mentioned troubles.

Anyone else in a similar boat? How do you get by these days?

Also, help me kill time and feel better. Tips and tricks welcome!

Thoughtful design by our beloved babus

It's 2026.

In one of India's most important cities - Mumbai

At one of Mumbai's most connected stations - Borivali

And at one of Borivali's most important platform - platform 6, from where most intercity trains go.

Context:

This video is from the top of one of the bridges connecting platforms. We're at platform 6. On one side, there's an ascending escalator. On the other side, there's ONE lift.

So many people need to get to platform 6 for their respective trains. And this is the scene.

Best place to buy good quality, reasonably priced cloths for newborn?

Not looking for branded stuff. Just genuine good quality, comfortable clothing and other cloth items for a new born who isn't fashion or brand conscious.

Again, this isn't for a toddler who wants to look good or whose parents want it to look good.

It's a newborn in the family. Good quality, cotton onesies, swaddles etc. But not overpriced (labels don't matter).

Preferably in suburbs. Vile Parle to malad stretch.

Dell Inspiron - no startup after dell logo. Blank black screen. I'm using an HP charger since I lost the Dell one. What's wrong with the laptop?

I will be getting the right charger for it soon. But in the meantime, I needed to access something from it. I'm using an HP charger that fits and is of the same specs.

The laptop detects it as an unofficial charger and doesn't allow charging the battery of the laptop. That's the alright part.

The laptop also doesn't start. It shows the Dell logo every time I try to start it. And then shows a black blank screen which remains so forever. It is a blank screen and not a dead screen. I can see the slight light that the blackness shows. It's not that the screen isn't active. It's active but just black.

The first time I plugged in the HP charger, the laptop did start, and we went to a proper home screen with chrome working. Then a pop up say "fix drivers". I clicked on that thinking I'll continue using it after the restart.

But ever since then, no luck. Just a black blank screen.

So yeah... Laptop didn't mind the HP charger the first time. But did show a pop up to fix drivers. And hasn't worked ever since.

I've tried disabling the "adapter warning" and even tried the "continue with errors" under the POST settings.

Do you think the problem is even adapter related? Or maybe the adapter is not causing the issue but something much deeper is.

I wanna know if I just plug in the correct adapter, will my problems go away?

Dell Inspiron 5570.

Windows 10.

Old, but it has value to me right now.
