Hi all i never had a ps4 and wanted to get one for the physical games and the exclusives. I found a a ps4 pro with a controller and 3 games (watch dogs 2, days gone and Jedi fallen order) for $180 aud which is $130 usd. Should i take that deal?
Hey everyone, looking for some advice on which platform makes more sense for me. I need two PCs: one for VR/sim racing and one as my main gaming PC.
I already have an older PC that I'm planning to use for VR/sim racing: Ryzen 5 5600X RTX 3060 Ti 16GB DDR4 750W PSU I recently bought an RX 9070 XT, so I need to build another PC around it.
I also have an old Ryzen 5 1600 AF sitting around, so I'm wondering if I could move that into the VR PC and put the 5600X in the new 9070 XT PC. The two options I'm considering are:
AM5: $1,143 AUD Ryzen 5 7600X MSI PRO B840-P WIFI 16GB DDR5-6000 Corsair RM1000x RX 9070 XT
AM4: $897 AUD Ryzen 7 5800X Gigabyte B550 Eagle WIFI6 32GB DDR4 Corsair RM1000x RX 9070 XT
The issue with AM5 is that 32GB DDR5 is around $600 AUD , so upgrading the AM5 build from 16GB to 32GB makes it much more expensive. My other idea is to not buy the 5800X at all and instead do:
Gaming PC: 5600X + 9070 XT + 32GB DDR4
VR PC: 1600 AF + 3060 Ti + 16GB DDR4
Then I could upgrade the VR PC's CPU later if the 1600 AF becomes a bottleneck. What would you guys do?
Is the $246 AUD premium for AM5 worth it, or would you just stick with AM4 given that I already have AM4 hardware and DDR5 pricing is so bad here? Also, how bad would a 1600 AF + 3060 Ti be for VR/sim racing compared with the 5600X?
Hi guys i recently upgraded to a 9070xt and i am on am4 currently with a ryzen 5 5600x, and the ryzen 7 5800x3d is on sale for $498 aud should i go for it?
I had my old pc components in the white case but had to use my old black case as i had trouble fitting my new 9070XT in my white case. So i just built my pc again in my old case but performance and temps were horrible despite having a clean windows install and also fans sounded like a jet engine.
So i decided to just build it again in my white case (Lian li dan a3) and i had to remove the front usb connectors in order to cable manage and fit everything but im so happy that my issues seem to be resolved!! And the pc is so much quieter ,cooler, more stable and performs better
Specs :
Ryzen 5 5600x
32 gigs ddr 4
Power color reaper 9070XT (upgraded from 3060 TI)
Rm750x psu
Msi B450 mortar max mobo
All i did was change my case and a fresh install of windows and results are way better!!. Even though the other results are from a fresh install too but the case was so shite.

Upgrading to 9070XT , but my 3060 ti served me well o7
Been wanting to upgrade from my 3060ti and the power color reaper is $974 . Should i snag it?
Hey yall so the only real affordable upgrade is a 9060xt. Is it worth upgrading from a 3060ti since the prices would only get worse.

Hi guys i just finished building my first cockpit and i wanted some guidance on how to get the beat ergonomic of that of a real car. I am going for more of a street sport car position rather than gt as that what i mainly do.
