I just made a beat but the full drums were in pattern mode and the song I sampled was in song mode. I think I ruined combining it all because when I do it just plays one sound from one of the drums, for example, an 808. I'm trying to put all the drums I made in song mode but I think I'm just really dumb and might be missing common sense. Also I've looked up on stuff on google to try to figure it out but it's not saying the right stuff and I'm so confused. I can't even make a beat like normal.

Idk what to do is it just natural or do they have someone do every little detail (the lights in studio footage, etc.) for the artist or what? I am turning 16 in October. I FINALLLY got a normal app (instagram) and the time limit is like 40 minutes per day, which isn't bad though, I shouldn't be on there forever. BUT I have no YouTube, every website has to have approval and is blocked and every time all I do is shop and look (I never even end up buying anything) or make accounts, they wouldn't believe me but I tell them TikTok is only for my content and not doomscrolling. I also SAVED 1K to get a MacBook and get out of this but they are going to put restrictions on that as well. All I do create and have fun and I have a lot to learn in my interests so yes I will be on the computer all day. I fucking hate this bro there is no escape. I like to listen to music on Soundcloud and that has an hour limit, which isn't horrible but it's still ass. I recently found out my mom's password but then she reset it. There's no way out and I'm tired of being treated like a 7 year old with no brain. I'm about to fucking drive.
I saw a short video showing the difference between the snippet version and the released one (the one that got taken off soundcloud today) and I couldn't tell the difference other than the verse being at a different part. The MacBook Im planning to get has 16gb ram so I can’t completely fill it up right away but does anyone have an idea of what synthesizers, vst’s, and etc. I should use? Also what’s the difference between those and like drum kits (sorry if thats dumb Im brand new) I wanna make beats like Osamason, Pierre Bourne type of beats, that side of rap iykwim.
