How does rockbox handle m3u playlists?

I'm looking for something smart enough that if I put a bunch of m3u files inside a folder, my innioasis y2 will recognize them as playlist without me doing anything else (currently, I would need to import them one at a time and is a long and draining process).

Is rockbox able to figure it out by itself without me having to manually "activate" the playlists one by one like I have to do right now? I just want something that sees an m3u file and just KNOWS that is a playlist and makes it functional and ready to listen.

Who handles playlist better? Rockbox or Y2Player?

I'm a noob who doesn't understand a single thing about technology and I'm just trying to figure out how to listen to music.

I have a Innioasis y2 and I have organized all my music into playlists with m3u files. However, the process of importing m3u files is dreadful right now (with nothing installed I have to import them ONE AT A TIME) and since I have hundreds of them, it is just not feasible.

I was wondering if Rockbox or Y2Player make dealing with playlists and m3u files easier, in your experience. Which one would you recommend?

Ideally, I just want something that sees all my m3u files and goes "oh! Wow!! Playlists! Let's actually make them all functional so that if you just click on the name of a playlist it just STARTS, without doing anything else!"

Please tell me that there's a way to do it :(

Advice on how to organize music?

I have a lot of music (100gb and a little more) and I'm not using anything particular on it. I'm using it just as it came out of the box without nothing fancy installed. My original plan was to organize evrything by playlists through the m3u files. Ideally, I'd like to go to Music > Playlist, pick one and listen to it.

Problem 1: I put the m3u files in my microsd card and when I try to access it to import the playlist with the y2 it gets stuck in a forever "loading..." screen :\

Problem 2: I tried to import a playlist just to see if it worked and now in that section I have the default "Playlist 1" "Playlist 2" ... "Playlist 5" plus the ones that I manually added... But they are empty! What could have gone wrong?

So... Is there a way to avoid this step and make the y2 recognize the playlists with the pc? Maybe a folder where I can put the m3u files so that it automatically sorts them in playlists? I have tried, but I cannot figure out a way.

Also, what if while I am listening to a song I decide that I want to delete it? Is there an easy way to do it or do I have to plug the y2 to my pc and remove it from the microsd from there?

How to clean the microsd from duplicates?

I have a lot of songs and I'd like to clean up my music library from all the duplicates, but doing it by hand will require A LOT of work... Do you know any smarter way?

How does the y2 handle albums?

Hello! I have just bought the y2 and I'm waiting for it to arrive.

I have digital copies on my pc of all the music I own from CDs and I have organised them all into folders.

When will my y2 arrive, could I just move the different folders into the micro sd card to keep them organised by album or do I have to put all the music together without the folders?

I fear that if I put the folders, the innioasis will not find the music correctly, but at the same time, if I just put everything in the same place, I'll lose all my album organisation.

So, how are you organising all your files in the micro sd card? Is the innioasis able to organise everything for artist/album by itself or is it something you have to do manually?

I have a very important question: if you watched The Office, do you relate to Michael Scott?

So I have had this sudden realization.
The very first time I watched The Office (season 1), I was seeing it with other people. I absolutely 100% related to Michael Scott and I felt like the "goal" of the series was to make the viewer relate to him.

Well. To my complete surprise, after a bunch of episodes, we started talking about this character and they were saying "oh it's so unlikable", "I hate him", "he is doing everything on purpose to make everyone feel uncomfortable", "he is an asshole".

I was BAMBOOZLED. I got everything wrong, apparently!! I thought that the whole point of the show was not to portray an asshole boss and employees that have to deal with him... I thought that he was just... socialy inept but trying his best like I do every single day! I relate SO MUCH to Michael Scott: he felt like an awkward man just trying to be friendly and keeping people happy during the workdays, preparing activities for them and so on. To me, he cares that people feel like a group, but he is... Idk, socially undercooked?? I understand him SO MUCH (obviously, I do not behave like this in professional settings, but with people I'm trying to be friends with? Absolutely lol)!

Suddenly, the dots connected. People treat ME the way employees treat Michael Scott (tolerate him, are annoyed by him, try to distance themselves...). I think you know the feeling. So I thought... What if, maybe involuntarily, they created a character that could be a neurodivergent person? And what if, just by chance, have recreated a mechanic that some of you may be familiar with (I'm weird but I want to be close to people -> I try -> They don't like me -> I try even harder -> They like me even less...)

What do you think? Could it be possible?
And, finally, do you relate to Michael Scott?

Looking for (Italian) communities to study for HSK2

Hi there! Yesterday I had the "old" HSK1 exam and I am planning to take the HSK2 3.0 in November/December.

I would love to know if there are language learning communities of Italians that are studying for the same level on discord/telegram/facebook/whatever that I could join to motivate each other, share resources and ask questions :)

Siti per sbobine che non facciano schifo? :D

Dunque.

Alternative che non siano pietose esistono?

I studied from different resources: HelloChinese, the HSK1 book, lists of words found online with all the necessary vocabulary and even enrolled in an online course that lasted 6 months... And yet, when I look for exam simulations on youtube (without actually even being sure if they are legitimate btw, so if you can please help me find reliable mock exams, it would be greatly appreciated). I still find words that I don't understand/don't know. Is this normal/done on purpose?

Also, during the listening part, I can understand the words they say one by one, but it feels like my brain doesn't have enough time to process the sentence as a whole because the sentences are too long, so I end up not fully understanding what they say. I still get the answer correctly because often you just need to catch a keyword, but still feel like this is not what it is supposed to feel like.

Any suggestions to improve?

I have no movies/tv series culture because I don't like watching tv: I get terribly bored just sitting there in silence all alone for 1-3 hours to look at a screen while I do nothing . I am that person who gives off terrible vibes and first impressions because usually the first thing people want to talk about are movies and series, but I REALLY have never seen anything, but people don't believe me and assume I'm just rude/uninterested in having a conversation.

However, I recently bought a treadmill to be healthier and I figured it could be a good idea to catch up with all the most important things to watch so that I do not pass as "movie-illiterate" during normal conversations lol (I don't even know any actor besides... Johnny Depp and Leonardo di Caprio? I cannot name any more actors lol. See? I DO sould movie-illiterate).

Please tell me what the must-sees are, those films you would be seriously shocked to find out someone has never even heard of :D
