just moved and i need friends. burbank and noho are accessible to me. give me best bars and clubs and chill spots to make some friends

i just moved into my first living situation with roommates. these girls don’t talk to each other, and they don’t talk to me. one girl is ALWAYS in the living room with her boyfriend and i find it awkward to go to the kitchen and make food. i know it’s my space too, but they’ve lived here a little longer than me and i feel like im intruding in their space.

just moved in. my move in day was SO TERRIBLE. none of the kapi staff would answer me and i had to go in person just to get some answers. my whole move in weekend is CURSED‼️‼️‼️

so i’m a hairstylist, but i don’t like doing my own hair so i made my friend do it (she just graduated from school, waiting to schedule her test date). she did my hair three days ago. waking up today, the front right quadrant of my scalp is TENDER. so tender.

here are some things to consider:

we used matrix 9+ bleach. i’ve used this on my scalp before and had no reaction. i use this bleach on my clients and i wear gloves, but still no reaction

we used good dye young. i’ve used this on myself and clients before, always wearing gloves but more often than not it gets on my skin.

my hair gets tangled easily. as she was applying the fashion color, my dry hair was tangling. she was basically ripping it apart and getting pissed off that my hair was so tangly? (something she needs to work on, i know. unprofessional) but she did that all around my head. i’m not necessarily tender headed, but this was hurting a lot.

my scalp hasn’t been tender these past few days, but today it hurts. i took a freezing shower and it was still tender under the water. i’m just wondering what could be causing this? i know it’s probably my friend ripping the hell out of my hair but i’m just wondering if it could be my products.

like title said, i’m moving in exactly two weeks (14 days). i’m in CA moving to another city in CA. should i buy my box now and send it to my current address? or should i wait until a couple of days before i move and just send it to my new address? thanks for some help

moving to burbank in two weeks, trying to find a salon that will take me (2 months licensed). i’ve called around to about 4-5 salons and they either have nothing or don’t respond. does anyone know of any salons that are taking people right now?

are there any cool natural swimming holes around 1-2 hrs from burbank? anything from lakes to rivers to creeks to waterfalls

i know the monthly books change, but how long do they stay before they disappear? i ordered a box and two books are June books, one of them isn’t. there’s a June book that im hoping to order next month and im just wondering if it’ll still be there
