Seems like I only ever get uniques when I'm casting and holding the rod... Is that true? Does it apply to other lakes? Is it the type of rod, or the stand?
I swore I caught a unique white buffalo at Quanchkin on a rod stand...
Can I get there as a scav or do I need to be a PMC to get to the lighthouse area or?
Okay, so my room is full of windows, 100 year old home, and I have a 155lb subwoofer (Monoprice Monolith THX 13 sub on the nice beefy SVS rubber feet, and I have SVS Ultra mains).
I find that if I press gently-firmly in the very center of the windows that rattle, the rattling completely goes away. I tried wooden shims around the edges of the windows, but that doesn't help anywhere near as much as the pressing does.
So my current plan is to drill two small holes on the inside of the window frames (all wood, ancient), put two small hooks in, then get a gentle-tight bungee cord to attach to the hooks.
Then get either a rubber squash ball or rubber raquetball, drill a hole through it, get it onto the bungee cord and have it pressing in the middle of the window, with pressure applied from the tightness of the bungee cord.
I think it will work, but maybe there's some other way or some kind of product out there that would achieve the same thing without doing all this? Thought I'd ask before I order stuff and start drilling....
The drill holes won't damage the windows btw, there's an edge there I can work with.
I have a lot of cookbooks, and I seem to remember most fish is smoked at lower temperatures for longer amounts of time, and you needed a different kind of BBQ setup to do that or different type of BBQ altogether.
So I'm wondering if someone could refresh my memory and help us all understand the difference between low temp smoking and high temp smoking, and how to achieve both.
Personally I have a Weber Summit Kamado charcoal grill. Can I only do high temp smoking on that?
What kind of setup would I need for low temp?
I can recommend Sunnyside Oyster Bar, but it's not open this time of year. Also like Mulberry House in Little Washington. Skylight Inn's chicken is great. And 903 Mini Mart has the best Mexican I've had here.
Anything else in any of the small towns for either just good food or a nice dinner?
Haven't been able to find much. There's a school on 5th that has some, but they're fenced and gated off completely. There's one at the The Horizon Student Living complex, gated off.
Google says there's one by the tennis/pickleball courts on Elm, but I don't think there is. Two baseball fields and the tennis courts. Don't see any on Google Maps Satellite there or when we drive by.
Any leads?
I'm 18 runs deep, seems like a pretty fun farm tbh... Runs last like 6-7 minutes for me, I probably break about even with drops for the 3div cost of entry, and maybe eventually I hit something.
Only thing of note I've dropped so far is a 3 stat Diamond about 10 runs in.
Okay so I realized that if I kill some kind of boss in a ritual, that I'll see that same boss revived again in the next rituals I do.
I usually do all the ritual circles and the last one always in the boss room.
But now I'm thinking it's probably better to do the boss room first, so that the boss spawns again in all the other rituals on the map. Is that correct?
And to that effect, does it also make sense to clear the areas of every ritual on the map first, and then actually start the rituals - beginning in the map boss room? Like will clearing the areas before actually starting any mean more monsters spawn in all of the ritual circles?
Also, is there any value in luring monsters into the circle to be killed from outside? Do they get resurrected too or just the ones that actually spawned inside the circle?
And finally, I assume summoning circle bosses get respawned in ritual encounters, so makes sense to do any of those first before starting any rituals... But does that also work for any other league mechanics? Like do breach monsters or deli monsters that spawn or get killed inside the circle also juice the ritual encounters?

Any tips for reheating ribs that got a bit hard? My Kamado got up to like 325 for a while I guess and my ribs ended up pretty hard on the outside.
Maybe I can steam them? Or just put in a ziploc in hot water or into my sous vide?
Edit: I decided to go with the easy sous vide butter solution because it was easy and well.... alcohol. Worked amazing. Was significantly better than the first day fresh off the BBQ. Like waaaay better. Many thanks to everyone for your suggestions!! Two racks for $20 at Sam's... Like even if you fuck them up bad you still profited. What is that like $5 more than a McDonald's combo these days??
