End. The. Madness.

Folks, the infighting amongst dotheads has gone too far. Warring subreddits, mass bans, is this how we want to celebrate the greatest children’s animated series to come out since Bluey?

Let’s end the fighting. I propose that as a compromise, r/dootledots shuts down immediately, the person who made that subreddit (who I will not mention by name) accepts a 3 month ban from Reddit, and we all get together and bond over some Dot Therapy.

What do you say?

Attainable centers in the offseason

Well, our complete lack of depth (and really, even starting talent) at center has proven to be a problem yet again.

I’m not a hockey capologist so I have no idea what centers we can afford or who can reasonably be acquired in the offseason.

Who is on our wish list, realistically?

Little pet peeve of mine that I don’t see discussed super frequently

Obviously, needle drops in film are super common and often iconic. But one thing that bothers me way more than it should is when a needle drop cuts a song to bits during the sequence it’s played in.

I’m not even talking about not playing the full song, I understand that that isn’t typically feasible. I’m more talking about rearranging parts of the song, I guess to get to “the good parts”, but often in a jarring or unnatural way, particularly if you already know the song prior to seeing the movie.

This is done even more frequently in trailers, but I feel like that is more understandable given the time constraints.

Does anyone else get bothered by this, or have some egregious examples?
