My plant is rotting and I need advice but I REFUSE to listen to anything you have to say!
That's it! You have all been TRYING to help and I don't want your help! I just want you to help me. Why is this so hard?!?!?!?
Please help me save my mirabilis
I considered myself an experienced hoya keeper - but this is throwing me for a loop. She was in my east facing window in North Carolina but we recently moved to northern Florida. She is currently outside on a covered porch, receiving dappled morning sun. No pests. All my other plants are thriving. Not overwatered or under watered. Not rootbound. Any ideas what might be happening? She’s my favorite hoya 😔
Whaaattttt is happening
Rings! And she’s blonde!
Need help finding quality dress shirts for my husband's long wingspan
Hi everyone! My husband is 6'2" and has long arms. I'm wondering if any of you can recommend any companies that make good, quality dress shirts with longer sleeves? Bonus points if they don't need to be ironed. We usually do Jos. A. Bank, but he feels that their quality has gone down in the last few years. Any recommendations would be appreciated. ◡̈ Thank you!
Am I an idiot?
Been playing since day 1 and the only Pokemon I've wanted is shiny Lapras. My son hooked me up with iPogo and I've been teleporting all day trying to find one. So far I'm at 155 teleports. Is it even possible to get a shiny Lapras this way? Before I keep going, I just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time. Thanks for your help!
Last ditch effort for the vinegaroon!
EDIT: Mother has found a home! Thank you ❤️
Really hoping someone will consider taking her! She’s in a 20 gallon tank. No real temperature requirements and humidity isn’t hard to control. Eats crickets. She’s a pretty cool pet!!
Screw it, I need to get rid of plants too.
*Not all of them are available*
Pick up in Fletcher before Friday. I’m going to put the available ones on a table in my front yard and whatever goes, goes. A couple of Thai cons, some Hoyas, a fuck ton of air plants and some neglected African violets. Not asking for cash but donations are welcome (gas money). DM me for address. Pots included. Treated for pests monthly.
Time to give my tarantulas and vinegaroon a new home. Details in post.
Getting close to the move and I can’t take these guys with me in the Jeep. I’m not asking for cash, but you will have to pick up in Fletcher before Friday. PLEASE do your research before taking one (or more) home!
I don’t know their gender. Most are around 2-3, some younger. Unsure of age or gender of vinegaroon.
There’s a Venezuelan Suntiger, Arizona Blond, 2 Curly Hair (one larger, one smaller), Pink Toe, Mexican Stripe Leg, Mexican Black Velvet. All come in their enclosures. Also have some extra enclosures available.
Vinegaroon is in a 20g long.

(47F) Recently diagnosed and prescribed Vyvanse (30 mg). Need some advice before I start taking it.
Hey friends - after years therapy and feeling like I fit the ADHD criteria, I recently found an amazing psychiatrist who did some ADHD testing and I finally have a formal diagnosis. I unfortunately also have super high anxiety around potential side effects from medications - to the point that I have scared myself out of starting the Vyvanse before I even know how it will affect me. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you get around it and start taking the medication? I'm currently on 300mg of bupropion and have no negative side effects from that. Maybe I need to take it on a day where I have planned to be at home, with no real plans or obligations? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Possibly the dumbest question ever...but how do you guys find shark teeth?
We'll be living pretty close to Fort Clinch (FL) in a couple of weeks, and I've seen so many great hauls from there. I'm completely new to searching for shark teeth, so I'm wondering - where should I be looking for, and do y'all use any "tools" to make the search easier?
Moving to FL and will be living in Nassau County. Worried about finding a position there. Details in post
Hi friends - just need a little advice. I'm moving to Nassau County (FL) in a few weeks. I have met with the principals of the two middle schools closest to our new home. Both expressed great interest, but unfortunately, neither have any openings at the moment. I have an interview set up for an intermediate school in the same county, but it's almost a 40 minute drive. I don't necessarily mind the drive - but I have a son who will be a freshman, and he has debated going to high school in our town, or if he'd like to go to the high school in the town I work in. If I work that far away and he attends school there, we will have the rides to/from together every day (which we both cherish, as we've done it before). However, his school friends will also be 40 minutes away, which is no fun.
My question is - if, and this is a big IF, I interviewed and was offered the position at the intermediate school, is it worth taking this early in the summer? Or should I wait it out until I see if the other schools will have an opening? Is there still time for positions to open up since we're already in June now? I would MUCH prefer to work at one of the other schools (not only for the closer commute but I also prefer grade 6 or above)...or should I just take what I can get? Also, I taught elementary for a year and swore I'd never teach anything other than middle again - does anyone know if the demands on teachers in an intermediate setting are similar to elementary? To be fair, I taught all subject in elementary and this position is Math/Science only, which is my favorite.
Everett - bad guy?
Edit: awesome to hear y’all’s opinions 😊
What are the chances Everett is on 10P’s side, and he lied about the cattle to eliminate Dutton Ranch as competition?
Is it normal for buyers to want to access the house multiple times before closing? Details in post
EDIT: I've gotten some awesome advice here and I ended up growing a pair and asking my agent to please put her foot down and try to reschedule. She is reaching out to the buyers' agent now. Thank you for offering your opinions, whether we agreed or not! That's what makes us awesome humans - we can disagree and still respect each other. I appreciate all the comments, advice and counters. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day!
Selling our home in NC to first-time home buyers. So far they have been here 3 times since they put the offer in, including during their inspection. The other day they wanted to come measure the TV we have over our fireplace. Now they want a painter to come give a quote for popcorn ceiling removal - and they want to be here while the painter measures. Our agent said "We just have to make the house available if they need to get in." This means every time they want to be here, we're vacating with our 4 dogs. I don't remember visiting this house at all after the offer was put in - I actually remember our agent telling us we shouldn't be there for the inspection. We vacated for our pre-sale inspection when we put the house on the market as well. Just wondering if they're being obnoxious? Or is this standard?
This probably won’t excite anyone else but I found some in the wild 😂
Edit: Thanks for being excited with me, guys! This was so wholesome and I'm so glad I posted. :)
Thought this was so cool! Found in Jacksonville, FL.
Title, basically! I'm trying to figure out whether I should keep my monsteras in pots or if they'll be ok in the ground. Soil is sandy but will be amended. No part of the yard gets direct, afternoon sun thanks to some tree cover in the western part of the yard. ᵕ̈
