Burger time with Traveling Hobo
Been hearing a lot about Traveling Hobo's burgers so I made the 15 minute drive out to Watkinsville today for lunch. They have a 6 and 10oz burger, since I whine about tiny patties I went all in on the 10 oz.
The food came out in about 10 minutes and was piping hot. I got the "boxcar fries" which were very crispy and tasty.
The burger was indeed huge. If I have any complaints it's the bun.. which dwarfs the patty.. it was at least 1.5" thick on top and about 1" on bottom. I picked away a lot of the bun as I didn't want that much bread with the burger.
The meat was well seasoned, cooked per request (medium well), and super hot. The patty itself was definintely oversized especially for most burgers around town.
My entire meal was a little over $20 with tip
Worth trying sometime especially if you are extra hungry and want a massive patty!
