If your car is already damaged that it's possibly totaled, you gotta engage insurance. Once insurance is involved, it's upto them to total or not.

You don't have any say in it. If you just want it for your piece of mind, it's very unreliable prediction.

Now, I am confused, if both party gave consent (by continuing conversation) at the start that it may be recorded, does it matter who records it ?

We got the estimate for wisdom teeth removal. The initial estimate was $500 for two and $600 for four teeth. We went for all four.

When the final bill came, it was 900 for 4. Dental insurance details were same as earlier, no other claim, plan maximum not reached.

The difference came due to dental removal core service coverage(ext erupted teeth, par bon ext imp). In the estimate, it was covered at 90% but in final EoB it's covered at 50%. The dentist is in network.

I should have checked the estimate earlier, I agree. Dentist office is saying, final bill may differ due to insurance coverage. But the coverage was literally same when early estimate was written. Is there anything we can do? Delta Dental WA insurance.

My plan coverage:

Oral Surgery/Surgical Extractions 50%

Simple extraction 50%

Root plane/scale 80% (I don't think it's relevant here)

My sibling is applying for a lot of jobs. Many of them are asking for SSN, I told her not to give anyone before the offer letter is received atleast. But I am thinking, scammer/identity thief can fake that as well.

Now, if after joining letter, if company asks for SSN to do background check or employment eligibility verification, at what point is it ok to give ?

I also advised her to check the email, company name, reply to address, call directly to company number to verify once atleast. But I think, someone can make a sophisticated way to bypass these general checks.

I also don't want her to miss genuine employment either
